I have been thinking a bit of late about trying to make a building using LEGO Technic, along the lines of 8680 (see link below) http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8680-1 Most sets and MOC's I have seen are of vehicles or something close to this, has anybody tried a building MOC and want to share any advice or photos? If this was a more modern "studless" type this would be even better. My idea is to try and do something a little bit different :) Paul http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/my-technic-collection.html

Do you normally keep any record of your failed MOC's, photos or even a few notes on it? I keep track of my "successful" MOC's on my blog but don't put up any that didn't work. Today I spent the afternoon on a MOC only to find in the end it didn't work out, should I take any photos or notes on it to keep track of it in the future? Does anybody else do this?

Is this seen as a good thing by the AFOL community?

I know a few of us run websites or blogs for our hobby, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can list them so others can find them easily. Quite often I am online and have spare time so having a list of websites and blogs to keep up to date with would be good. Here is mine: http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/ Just reply with a link to your website or blog and maybe a little bit about it. Lets try and limit the chat in this thread to that related to our websites and blogs.
