  1. My last update for a little while. I am having a building challenge with a friend so for the next week or so I will be busy designing and building :)
  2. This is really quite sad what some people do to the hard work of others :( Have you ever experienced something like this yourself? http://www.cairns.co...local-news.html
  3. Thanks, that would be great to give me some ideas.
  4. That looks very cool, thanks for sharing.
  5. I think this will be my next project, to design a C model out of these parts :)
  6. Hi all, Has anybody designed or built a C model using the pieces of this set as yet? I have mine built as the A model which I am thinking of taking to pieces and building the B model, before I do this I wanted to check if anybody had any ideas for a C model. Paul
  7. Yes I do have one. I built this car earlier this year and then took it to pieces a few weeks later. I have since tried to rebuild it but I just can't get it right again :( http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/moc-car-in-day.html
  8. I only have one MOC built at the moment, it can be seen on the shelf under the desk. Here is a bit of a write up I did on it: http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/moc_20.html I don't generally keep my MOC's built very long, I like to use the parts for other MOC's.
  9. Some more of mine: http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/my-technic-collection.html
  10. Posted some new photos on my blog, moved my office around and setup my new shelves.
  11. That is quite interesting as a friend of mine purchased this set and built the B model (I built the A model) we both aggreed the A model was much better. The B model just seems a little bit "half done" to me.
  12. I think power functions have a place but they should not be seen as something that most sets need. In some sets they work really well, in others they feel like an add on.
  13. Hi, We are also very early on in the process of becoming a LUG. We have ran a couple of expos already and off the back of these we are growing the club. http://www.tazbrick.org/
  14. To me it looks better, has better functions and does not look as "plain" as the A model does. I brought two copies of this set and built them both side by side.
  15. Yes I would say it is a much better set than the A model.
  16. Another updated image of mine, first time I have had them all set out like this. A

  18. Thanks for posting the review, quite a good read.
  19. Thanks for the link, I agree that the original is better...
  20. I can't say I have seen one of 8880 but if somebody has I reckon that would be very cool.

  22. Took some photos and made a video of my latest MOC for my blog :) http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/moc_20.html
  23. I have always pretty much stuck with Technic. I did have a bit of a run with trains but in the end I went back to Technic. I don't have the time, space or budget to support having multiple themes :(
  24. A couple of weeks ago I was thinking of something a little bit different to come up with for a MOC. My idea of a trailer ended up turning in to a service trailer with some service related items. These are listed below. - Service Trailer: This has a tow bar which connects to the rear of set 8448. It also features a jockey lift which is used to lift it on and off the tow bar. It has a mounting spot for the jack at the front and space on the tray for the workbench, tool case and space for some tyres and spare parts. It also has a ramp on the rear which is used to wheel the tool case on and off. - Lifting Jack: This has been designed to lift up set 8448 for changing wheels or performing under body service work. - Work Bench: This can fold down for transport and folds back up when used. - Tool Case: With wheels this can be wheeled on and off the trailer. The top clicks open for use. Photos and video on my blog: http://mizibunktechnic.blogspot.com.au/p/moc_20.html
