I have recently designed and built an Off Road Multifunction Truck (ORMFT), the idea behind this is to use this as a base for designing and building various attachments. My first attachment is a cherry picker, this features: - Bucket raising and lowering via one of the yellow knobs. - Moving the turn table, via the other yellow knob. This mounts to the truck body via two pins on the rear and two axles on the front, these same mounting points will be used for future attachments. I have recently been working on designing and building an off road truck, which is to be used as the base for adding different attachments and features. This is based on a model which I found on rebrickable, this has been modified: - Added HOG steering. - Switched to right hand drive. - Modified and extended the rear, this is to allow me to have the room to add various attachments. - Improved the mounting of the front mudguards. Recently I have picked up a couple more copies of LEGO Technic set 42133, these were purchased to allow me to try building a few of the C models that have instructions published online. I have recently completed building the first of these which is a forklift. This features: - HOG steering - Lifting forks After building this, I was not 100% happy with the way the forks worked, so I moved the connection point by one and this now allows them to tilt as they are raised. Overall this is a fun build and the functionality of this is good for such a small set. Not a lot of parts are left over, so it makes good use of the parts available from this set. I have recently built LEGO Technic set 42121 A model. After building this, I was not 100% happy with the bucket, so I have replaced this with a grabber claw. This uses the same control as the original bucket attachment. Photos and Video: https://tangerstechnicblog.blogspot.com/2022/12/lego-technic-42121-mod-grabber-claw.html

I have recently built this C model MOC, which was designed by "LegoTruckStop" https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-99645/LegoTruckStop/off-road-truck/#details Given the number of parts which are left over, I am planning on MOD'ing this, making some changes and adding some new and improved features. I will be adding to this topic as I progress this.

This looks like a cool little set and a good base for some c models. -
This is my personal view and I might be wrong but to me it feels like Technic is losing some of it's focus, it almost feels like the "old days", when technic lost it's focus and the sets that are being released are not hitting the mark. More and more I am seeing posts about how "bad" specific sets are, that sets are being pulled after being announced / released and generally the sets are not being well received, mostly by the AFOL community. 1. Has Technic taken a step back / wrong turn? 2. Is the level of MOC's we see, now so good that almost anything TLG release is seen as "second rate"? 3. Do you feel that the "fun" has gone? I can remember buying sets and loving the technical details / features, seeing how they work and the way they have been built and designed.
