LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
I doubt it, even though we have two Batman this year....but that's because it Bat's from two different era's....one from the TV world of the 60's and one from the movie era of the 80's and beyond. I believe Iron Man's torso will be the one from this years film. -
You can be like yourstruly and join the academy to get skills up to scratch 'gherkin' ?

Funny and neat idea 'Allan', you only need a Kenny to look after those loo's ! By the way, your circuit diagram it would be a 390 Ohm not a 300 Ohm resistor....though a 330 could be used depending on the LED's If. Neat multivibator design though I must say, two transistors could have done the same too ! Great porta-loo designs too, wouldn't mind knocking a few together for my MOC's....Brick On 'Kenny'....er, I mean 'Allan' !
-
AWESOME looking mecha ' Blake Baer ', what's it weapons ? Great work for someone from MOCing in a totally different era/area too.....Brick On Fight On ' Blake Baer ' !
-
Thanks 'gherkin' for this review, I already have one of those sets and I too was impressed by the design of the 4x4...though you forget to show the rear of it with the back hatch up. A plain white background would help the photos and final shots not including those different vehicles - nothing to do with the set directly that is. (Things I have learnt in the review academy.) Anyway, good review 'gherkin' and Brick On Review On !

Nice build there 'Dakar', if you want to leave it as it is or change it....it's up to you, the tiger gives a to it either way ! Interesting concept to go with, but it works....works well dude....excellent designing 'Dakar' and Brick On in the modular world !
-
Excellent creation 'Bernd', though this is one sub-theme Lego would never take on-board eh ? Two girls in one room.....hmm, choice eh ? The bathroom fixtures are great, very well constructed toilet....might look closer at it's design...mind if I take inspiration from it ? Sadly I wont be able to make a open back type for my Oz town as it's a display ready layout and explaining to children what goes on in there might be a problem.....heck I'm going to have that talk to my soon to be 12 year old son ! Great work on that design, but the name of your er....house needs work though ? Brick On.....with two girls !
-
Great looking vig 'Darkblane', that poor girl slaving away there eh ? Brick On 'Darkblane' !
-
AWESOME garage, AWESOME detailing and that door really works ? Excellent job there 'Captain Green Hair'....raising the bar eh ? (Let me see what a tiger can knock up. ) First building in your town, I wait now for your next....Brick On 'Captain Green Hair' !

Totally AWESOME creation ' Henning Birkeland ', beautiful work recreating "Red".....Brick On Race On ' Henning Birkeland ' ! -

Is there an official name for the "Stackable" city sets?
lightningtiger replied to DaddyDeuce's topic in LEGO Town
I remember that on the back of 8404 house set there was an image showing how you could mix and match this set with the pizza bar from city corner and the shop from construction site...I guess that was Lego's idea with this concept. -
I just remembered Lego's last giant dump truck, it had a one giant moulded tray....warps to easy, I guess at least with a brick-built dumper tray it won't warp eh ?
-
Thanks 'sebik' for your comment, I'm glad people like this little add-on design....more 8x8 designs will be coming forward real soon.
-
Thanks 'sebik', the floodlight took only five minutes to design...piece of cake and the folding legs allow it to fit in the back of the rescue van.
-
Excellent, cute, cool and perfect mini copy of Market Street 'Vincent'....keep them coming ! Brick On in mini-scale !
-
Cute and cool at the same time 'Vincent', more, more please. Brick On in mini-scale !
-
Wonderful 'cagri' , that bridge is so simple yet fantastic....mind if the tiger takes inspiration from it ? Brick On in the park 'cagri' !
-
Bare in mind that mining is a first for Lego city, it has to be more realistic than Power Miners....so if it looks lackluster that's because they haven't really designed anything like it in the past....unlike police, fire, airport or harbour. Delays in product releases are so common that even inside countries exclusives can be withheld for special promotions/sales.
-
Nice job there 'Vincent', driveway through the footpath - interesting and yeah, it seems not everyone recycles eh ? Great designing and use of those new bins 'Vincent'.....Brick On !
-
Excellent Separatist ship....Count Dooku would be pleased ! Great work 'trooper 278' and Brick On with the Sith !
-
Excellent creation 'Nom Carver', I do agree though with many other members.....laser cannons are too short. Still it's a good solid build, Brick On 'Nom Carver' !
-
Thanks 'kotaco', I draw inspiration from real life TV Doco's on rescues plus from my favourite TV show as a kid.....Emergency ! Perhaps, one day I'll build a Squad 51 with John and Roy as it's crew. Plans are on the drawing board for a 4x4 dealership, plus perhaps some different vehicles based around the Great Vehicles....among other ideas I have cooking in my twisted brain ! Keep watching the town forum in the next few days for my next creation.
