-
Excellent fusion of classic town and modern city construction vehicle design in your front end loader 'HIGHWAY PATROL'. What's the tank being tow used for ? Anyway, great work and Brick On Dig On 'HIGHWAY PATROL'.....any other blue and white vehicles coming ?
-

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've saved them before the moderator's rock up to remove them, 'Sir von Lego' watermarked images are not allow on EB (I learn't that the hard way many years ago ). Now that Pre-Vizsla's Fighter, interesting design.....might be a buy if my son wants it. -
Thanks 'ISC' for your hard work in this forum , but now poor Tazmanic is on his own....a lone regulator in a sea of castles. Avalonia Forever !
-
Fantastic small design 'MadManMingo', tile the floor and add a register if possible and you'll have an AWESOME little Lego City addition. The exterior design is beautiful, very art deco ! Brick On 'MMM' !

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree with the good doctor too, the weapon from Slave 1's Boba is more realistic for him to carry especially as it has a butt on it and short barrel......again could that weapon belong to someone else in the Lego Star Wars collection this year ? Oh, yeah.....thanks 'Clone gunner comander jedi' for the poster image of Ep.1.....a new wallpaper on this laptop ! -
What about the modulars and Town Plan ? Plus the Emerald Night or Maersk Train sets ? I feel the poll needs to be expanded but will it be too broad.....perhaps a moderator needs to step in ?

Bingo, another Toy Fair stuff-up. Now Boba's gun....isn't it a bit too long now with that lightsaber hilt on the muzzle end of that blaster ? -
2012 Train 'Exclusive' - Rumours/Rumblings?
lightningtiger replied to nesquik's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I doubt we'll see a train this year, but next year.....perhaps, a Friend's theme train ? Though since Lego City has moved to the forest and mining is the next subtheme.....who knows right ? Maybe something with a few ore wagons and larger shunter with loading station to go next to the smaller rail system with the largest mining set ? -
Thanks 'cossack225', 'MadManMingo' and 'Kryne' for your kind comments , yes 'MMM' I will be working on my Danish village again real soon, but first I have a milk bar to build plus another store and a tram....then back on to Danish and Lego city style stuff. Keep watching everyone !
-
Perhaps ideas from their 1980's idea's books....there were many house and shop designs in those.....different vehicles too.
-
A very believable design 'EM4CZ', your yellow design would make it as a set and I really like the frontage on it.....another inspiration ! LDD On 'EM4CZ' (going to brick build one of them ?) !
-
Now that's some armour there 'Maks', excellent detailing on those vehicles.....Brick On Fight On !
-
Thanks 'AJ' , five hours of hard work designing the signs yesterday and finances running low...I try and keep going with the next build....hopefully a milk bar.
-
My opinion is that the garage will be a like those found along a motor way....the clue is the car and caravan plus 4x4 towing the bike trailer. Edit - could be something like one of these......
-
Impressive, very impressive and worrying....hope they are all stable....wouldn't want a scene from 'Seconds From Disaster' ! Brick On even higher 'tower-cityoficial' !
-
Now normally I wouldn't do a bump post but when you have some COOL photos....hey, go with flow I say ! I did say, stickering didn't I ? Below, we see the old Air Force Officer about to walk into the store, the guy in the suit is a hardware rep....fresh order of fibre washers and coach screws taken. Now, the next two images are the interior of the store, the owner just noticed the old pilot coming in and knows he wont leave for an hour or three....buying stuff yes, telling the same war stories over again and again.....a HUGE YES! A photograph taken from a different angle, showing the street light/power pole and of course the tram track. Comments welcome.

Car Park....nothing....my bet would be the truck stop I voted for a few years back. But perhaps next week something might pop up in New York right ?
-
Ah, yes early 20th century related to No.1 tram from 1908.....I was actually thinking somewhere from the 1930's to the early 1950's....but one you choose.....hmm, I'll think about it.
-
Thanks 'michaelozzie' for your kind words, and yes...a tram might be considered.....I was only thinking that this morning, a trip to the tram museum is in order again. It would be an MTT type (that's was the name of the tramways in South Australia in the early to mid 20th century)....electric, yes....but styling ?
