    All of us AFOL's wish that Lego would broaden their scope in city, but it's of course aimed at KFOL's......though I wonder which group of children have been asked what they would like to see produced by Lego ? I feel the great vehicles range is losing the plot a little, wheel size and vehicle width have no direction.....it's more a flight of fancy of the design.....no guidelines except for price point. Just look at the black/grey 4x4 with water craft on it's trailer vs. lighting truck (ute) and toss in the prime movers........that 4x4 as big as a prime mover and has bigger wheels......now that's a monster truck ! That plane hiding in the hanger isn't the sea plane.....you can not see studs going all the way across the wings......it would be either a set coming out later in the year or another flight of fancy MOC by one of Lego's city designers.

    Remember when the middle of the year was a time to buy Lego........WRONG ! It's TOMORROW ! Big W..........where to start, okay UCS B-Wing $ 298, city advent calendar $ 38, city great vehicles down to 20 bucks, larger GV 25 bucks including CG copter, fire speed boat, cargo truck, police chase set with Chase McCain and the city starter set. They have listed the Friend's Bakery and SW Anakin's Starfighter for 68 bucks as well. So now both Kmart and BigW are doing huge Lego sales.....pity I have everything I wanted and I don't have the spare cash anyway ! Edit - D 'oh ! - It's Thursday not today...... sorry everyone !

    Thanks 'monsinjor', I have to fill that wall behind the counter plus a roof/ceiling combo......perhaps another SNOT job is called for eh ? Anyway, more tomorrow and like I wrote earlier any suggestions feel free to post them.......keep watching !

    No, I feel that's one of their MOC's to fill the background with......it's a bit like the grain ship from the 2011 harbour set.

    Thanks 'eurotrash', I need to pick up some extra parts to finish the shop off and start the petrol/diesel pumps.....once I have finished the shop tomorrow I will post updated pictures.....keep watching !

    I actually like all the new police sets so far.....need to see them more closely........nice trick Lego provide update instruction booklets with 2014 pictures that create internet chatter !

    Thanks for the kind words so far 'timmy', 'LT12V' and 'VK', there will be more photos on Monday when I can work again on this design. The door design is something I knocked over an hour of trial and error......actually it was quite easy. I've closed the fridge door now so the milk and other dairy products doesn't go off. Any suggestions you might like to see in this design feel free to post them......keep watching !

    Okay, what looks AWESOME so far, logging truck, airport fire tender and car transporter, next are the okay ones being the camper, 4x4, and lighting truck. The so-so designs - monster truck and worse one of the lot is the racing car.......it's more like a Le Man's style of racing car. I would of preferred a NASCAR or Super V8 style of racing car. But still I look forward to those three big sets......though I will get them all.....it's city.

    Ah, that paint tint machine was from another MOC from a few months ago......the tool dump table is out front of the store. Thanks for the positive vibes 'timmy'.....keep watching ! (working on the soft drink/dairy fridge for the next build right now)

    Ah, but they have a huge team of legal eagles and they would find a way that they can use something of someone else's but of course making a few changes along the way. Remember the latest modular being released shortly by Lego.....how bits of the exterior were similar to a few other peoples MOC's ? Though once an idea, image or whatever is on the net then someone can see it, copy it or whatever......isn't the internet wonderful ?

    Ha, yeah....er, no, Aussie country towns are quite dusty.......hey, I did my best cleaning the dust off the main street as best as I could. Oh, I should add that I have started on the new roadhouse/truck stop......but it will take a while, lots of brick built detailing going into it.....keep watching !

    That's if it gets 10K supports and passes the review.......since you sign over the legal rights to one's design they can take it and recreate their own way.
