[GoC] Spudkirk Primary School

Thank you! Thanks, Evancelt! I had a few orange plates from a PAB cup years ago and thought I'd use them for the vibrant theme of Spudkirk. Yeah, the clips hold the roof pieces in place. I could have spent a lot longer adding details like weathering but I don't want every build of mine to sit around for months (this is probably my quickest moc for a long time as I had it conceptualised to uploading in less than three weeks) Also, @Ayrlego if you could please licence this for Corrington as a medium education, thank you! -

Thanks! I often see years at the top of old schools in the UK, so I thought I'd add one to this one too! Thank you, I agree with the roof, too many "clean" ones gets repetitive! And I was not aware the WTC had a monopoly on what our nation specialises in? -

Thank you! I agree about the roof, but I really couldn't be bothered putting the tiles on and off Maybe it reflects the condition of many Primary Schools' roofing haha! -

Spudkirk Primary School, medium education. -
The classroom bell rings and the children of Spudkirk clamber out the tall dark door to have fun in the playground. Some play hopscotch and some play with a skipping rope. The Spudkirk Primary School is situated down the road from the fancier buildings such as the Bank and ETTC House, except this one is painted orange. The schoolmaster keeps an eye on the young ones.

The Nutcracker looks good, hopefully he has arm printing. The hat doesn't look that usable mind you. A shame about the Captain, the arm prints are the same as the last Captain who came with a seagull.

Super build - it's a great representation of the redoubt, and I love the handcuffs on the base! -

Everything is tickety-boo with the staff. Mister Phes is a moderator on the server, and any BotBS chats are nothing game-changing or anything, just small chats and more wip photos to share and discuss. The main focus of the server is Lego Pirates, BotBS is a side-part where members can have more informal conversations -
Conversations flow easier on Discord, I feel. You're not having to post a reply but send a message as you would in a group chat

José's Inn - Ye Olde BoBS Drinking Hole
Spud The Viking replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hello, maties! Myself and @evancelt have made a Lego Pirates Discord server. It has it's own space for BotBS members to chat and share work in progress pictures. Not to take away from these Forums, but to have a more relaxed and informal way for chatting and showing MOCs and inspiration etc. If you'd be interested, even just to join and see, use this link. Hope to see you there! -
Lord Spud must award the crew of the Bonnie for their bravery, she sails on her own and each month it seems the KPA reports she somehow manages to escape large Lotii fleets

Thank you! The stained glass is just held together with various trans-coloured plates, nothing fancy. Thank you Ayrlego! Thanks! Just SNOT and fitting in tiles slopes and cheese graters -

A lovely build Evancelt! The shaping, proportions, colours, plants - everything is just right! Well... apart from us sharing with those smelly Bluecoats. -

It really is, so useful for Castle and Pirate fans! Yeah me too. Lore is always interesting. Thank you very much! I had the build placed in front of one of my windows for the natural light, and my phone torch came in handy for the fireplace -

Thank you! It's a university so there's always plenty of drink around Thanks! The torso and skirt are from the most recent Build A Minifigure tower. The Regenerated Church is just something I came up with there. Kind of a take on how the Reformed Church was not dominant in Britain and this caused some issues. I'll hopefully explore it in more builds.
