Admiral? We- *kshhh* Officer Rein... We've located Trudop. He appears to be in a state of madness, as the rebel base is apparently deserted. The rebels have moved on, and yet he is rambling about a prototype weapon. I fear he was drugged. He has been sedated and is aboard the Star Destroyer. Our Scouts are making their way back, and we are leaving the planet. Hmm... if this planet has not been taken over by the Empire, then I suggest we leave a squadron of troops to hold the ground. I will request a Star Destroyer from Lord Vader and we will take the planet. It sounds as if there is more to it than meets the eye... Of course, Admiral. TK

TK to Imperial Officer Rein: Officer, report in. What has your search found? We've located a small rebel encampment northeast of the landing zone in the fifth sector. Hmm... is Trudop with them? We haven't yet seen him, although I sent a squadron in and we've liberated it. A platoon of Scout Troopers is searching the area. Good. Continue. Oh, and there's a rather large rebel base just west of here. What! Why didn't you mention that earlier? I'm not sure... *shakes head* I'm coming to investigate... TK

Considering it's the Clone Wars line, you can be pretty sure it'll be Republic. ;-) Oh, and by the way, it is actually Winter '08 right now. Winter isn't just December, you know. Like most seasons, it spans 2-3 months! 8-

It'll be interesting to see the more detailed hair for Obi-Wan and the other characters. Personally I'm hoping for something similar to Arealight's work. TK

I think the "one side saying another is attacking" method could be okay, especially if it's rebels talking about the Empire - after all, the Empire is vast and scattered throughout the galaxy and it doesn't necessarily have to be one of us who's attacking/being attacked. TK

Nice review, thanks. It still seems overpriced to me though. Also, the box shows the droid torsos that are used for "feet" on the Spider Droid as being light bley, yet they are clearly dark bley. *wacko* TK

Yes, but Droids are built up of pieces - much easier and cheaper to produce than actual minifigs. This is why TLC can include so many in the MTT and DBP (compared to the CBP). I've said it before and I'll say it again: there'll never be a Jedi Battle Pack in this way. Take, for example, this idea: Jedi Battle Pack - $9.99 Includes Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Anakin Skywalker and Kit Fisto. Battle Packs are supposed to build your army. Now who here seriously wants an army of Anakin Skywalkers or Kit Fistos? :-| :-P TK
