X-O The Chessie is Good, but I really love the fire stuff, those are amazing! The artistic detail on the exterior of the building (what's the word for this?) is beautiful, and the interior is great too although I think the beds could benefit from being a bit wider. The basket ball hoop is a brilliant addition and overall this is the most detailed fire station I've seen. The fire engine is nice and problably better than mine even though it looks a bit too big. Excelent work. *y*

Pretty good. Some of the "log" bricks look white and some look light grey but either way I' not really diggin' it. :-/ I think it will look better when completely finished, keep it up. *y*

I agree, there's lots of stuff like that on that wesite, half his brickshelf folders are still not moderated! This remindes me of the pic in the Lego uncyclopedia (a satirical parody of wikipedia) aritcle, which has been there well before the birth of this E-mail. BTW that website^^ is hilarious, but be warned, you will problably come across some thing not suitable for children. He might have made the picture, but some idiot added the text later, taking it out of context.

This picture is from the Brickshelf folder of the guy who made that huge Orthanc in the "Most Popular" section of Brickshelf. It looks like he "cheated" with those round castle walls but how exacty did he manage this? And he also has some nice Egypt, Western and Castle MOC displays in his folder.

Considering the exclution of culturual diversity in the originial pirate line and the overall lack of brown hands, I think there is a reasonable amout of Pirates of African and Far Eastern decent in mocs out there. Guy with crab in boat :-P I think it is more like ripping arms out out their sockets and throwing spears at Scout troopers In a galaxy far, far, away.

Looks nice, but nothing spectacular like the new City, AR, or SW. The F-14 looks kind of Meh, mabey it's the colors I dont like. The house looks pretty good, problably the best of the bunch although I agree it would be nicer a little more different than BB, a black roof would be great. And it would be nice if it had floor, or mayby there is a floor but it's just covered with grass. I agree with you about the colors, and the guters and liters look good too, but I perfer the cross-hatch "latice" chain-link fence, the new one looks too much like prison bars. I might get this since I dont have BB. The car looks kind of ugly, and I don't like my cars in yellow, but in this instance I wouldn't like in in black either, although it does have some interesting moonroof kind of thing going on. Of the four pod-less X-pods the steamshovel and monkey look the best, the first for the originality and the second for the parts and technique. But it is hard to imagine TLC making a set that small, its got to have an alternate model or something. I'll problably be getting the monkey.

Very impressive moc, LandLubber! I love the baseplates, the overall layout, and those shrieking shack windows! And the red roof makes is a great addition. Although I think hving a yellow floor and wall is abit annoying if you were in that position, I think it would be more realistic if you just stay with the yellow wall and get a white floor like the rest of the fort. I also think the bunks could benefit from being made a bit wider. Oh, and nice baby-blue anchor. -oo7, patiently awaiting more interior pics...

Looks relativly simple nice and the story is great too! But I asume there is no inside to the mill since you didn't put any pics of it, it this right? I don't really like the lantern or the way the hay (???) is attached to the string of the winch (the black handle plate). And no Phes, that torso is a cavalry soldier torso form the Western line.

that's the one (and it's clones too). I just noticed that these torsos are from caslte themes but can be also be used for pirates. Do you want to add them to the library as "pirate looking castle torsos" or something of the sort ?

Arriving a little late to this thread, This is definatley going to be a golden year for lego (or a least for us fans), they are going in th right direction with this new fire station espcially with th garage doors, but I wish the windows and such wasn't in blue but trans-black or trans-clear. |-/ And the new firetruck looks just as good as the old one, it looks like a good design and it adds variation to the fire rescue vehical arsenal. Although the hovercraft looks like futuristic junorized garbage as a set but it would be awesome if it actually works (It looks like it could be big enough). Bellville brushes! Licence plates! Hurrah! Now all I need to see is the sea port!

Nice, it's simple but great. It captures the scene perfectly although it would look more ominous if the grass wasn't so green or there wasn't so much of it. Good Work! ;-)

I think Phes is refering to the dark skinned man holding the crab in the rowboat, not the guy on the bridge with the turban. Baron Sat, do you ship your models in one peice or do you go through the chore of making instructions? Or do you sell it glued? (well mabey not the minifigs) I will!

Oh, sorry I got confused, I meant f-15 :-$ , the delta wing dosen't extend far back enough and the vertical stabilizers are too triangular to be an f-22. Although they are very similar planes so I'm not surprised if they will switch them in the movie, as the f-22 is newer.

I don't want some creepy PT alien Jedi (that have perfectly human bodies???) that serve absolutly no purpose whatsoever besides to show the size of the Jedi Order and to kill a bunch of droids (that a main character could have killed a lot easier and faster), I want Hoth and Endor Packs! And I never understood why the lightsabers have to be so steriotypical, All the "good" Jedi have a blue or green saber, all the "bad" jedi have a red saber, and the only African-American guy gets the only purple saber??? (Oh no, I think I've started my stupidity of SW rant again, I can go on and on about the battle of Coruscant in Ep. 3) Oh, and the new pics look nice, but why put a trans-orange round 1x1 on the droid gun barrel if it isn't a megaphone?
