  1. Yes, that idea is very original, he must have stole it from me. :-P
  2. Indeed. Really, what make you say that? I was almost sure he hand painted it on the bricks using his own blood. Sorry, just had to say that (well, technically I was typing(and I still am)). But anyway, is your disgruntled Email account functional yet, Phes?
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks R33 Madog (hmm, that's an interesting screename), you've come to the right place if you want tons of SW and pirate lego discussion, that seems to be our specialty. Hmm, that's pretty nice, I wish there was a store like that around here. I don't usally look for anything in particular but usally any system set that's not space or exo-force is of my intrest. Maybe you should post a list somewhere sometime or something. BTW, what do you mean by "Catch"?
  4. Welcome back and thanks for the review Norro. This is a nice little set with some great accessories for its price, especially the black plume. Although I think the blue flag should be placed on top of the guard booth, but that can be very quickly and easily modded. But since both men (I can't say knights) have the same yin-yangish falcon heraldry aren't they on the same side?
  5. Watch it now! Robber's Retreat is my favorite of the Ninja theme. Yes, I know, I stated this and my reasoning behind it in my origainal post.
  6. Maybe this is what the interior of The Great Library of Honduras looks like in MOC for? :-P Cute. The actual building might look like this, but I think it would have less Adventurers and Castle artifacts in the cases and on the walls and more pirate artifacts.
  7. ok, so what you are saying is that you don't like the fortess because it is not realistic... not because it doesn't look good. Nope, I'm saying in my humble opinion The Flying Ninja Fortress does not look nice, and does not reflect traditional Japanese architecture, thus is not a good set. Any other ninja building besides Robber's Retreat is better. Here, let me give you a better picture portraying 6093s weak design; (It's supposed to be small)
  8. Ah, I saw this on Brickshelf just yesterday, it's a great scupture. I like how he did the nose, it must have been hard to find a way to make it look good. Although I like this pic better than the one Phes posted, it has more beads.
  9. Our beloved adventurers have visited the scorching deserts Egypt, the Rainforests of South America, a secret island of dinosaurs, the icy peeks of the Himalayas, and the lush forests of India and China. Where should they visit next? Tropical Caribbean Islands and their lost temples of mysterious origin! Now to part where the pirate line comes in: Many years ago the peacefull natives traveled by canoe to this island to throw sacrifices into the lagoon as offerings to their gods, Untill the the day the gold-thirsty Imperial Armada invaded! After this is where the Adventurers comes back in so I won't go into it. But what particularly attracted me to this series of mocs was the enormous and beautiful Library.*wub* I would love to see Lego make something like this (but smaller, of course), I love Adventures and I love Pirates, so this balances them out perfectly and gives people the best of both worlds. This guy (or girl) sure has a lot of Imperial Armada Minifigs, and I love them with that "Euro Armor". Heck, I could have even posted this in the town forum becuse of the astounding library. The Gallery BTW, if anyone feels they want to inform Polska95 about this disscusion, feel free, the honor is yours. Just in case you didn't see it in the folder his/her E-mail adress is Polska95@AOL.com Note: This is a clone of a topic in the History and Adveturers forum authorized by Mr. Phes, see it here.
  10. Oh, how could I forget that huge village? And I also just remembered how nice DavTab's Fort Cook is. Now I have no idea which one is my favorite. :-/
  11. I'm fine with the background, tabs, and the banner of the pirate forum but I do not like the red and blue folders or the scapled Redbeard icons that much. About how long would it take and how hard would it be to replace the blue and red folders with these icons Brick Miner has created? etc. BTW, if anyone feels they want to inform Polska95 about this disscusion, feel free, the honor is yours. Just in case you didn't see it in the folder his/her E-mail adress is Polska95@AOL.com
  12. Statego is just a board game like monopoly or chess, it's as simple as that. :-) But the gameplay is more complicated, you command an army of plastic peices repersenting soldiers with different strengths and ultimatly try to capture your opponents flag. I could make the board but since there is multiple pieces that look the same I will only be making one peice of each type. Yeah, and while we're at it we should make a life-size lego room from a fort to store it in with real lego cannons that really fire life-size lego cannonballs!
  13. I am planning on buying Imperial trading post, and Roy will make a great Jack Sparrow with the Rascus head and darker pants.
  14. both of those qualities are what make the structure appear so well crafted :-D i mean, when you can achieve balance in something that is asymetrical, you have acheived "art". anyone can make something that is symetrical a balanced composition *sad* ... the trick is to do something clever, some thing asymetrical ;-) - BrickMiner But good Japanese Castles are symetrical, AND NOW FOR THE GRAND FINALE-- I can't post a pic for this one becuase it is a dynamic page (whatever that means) so click this sentence. AHH!!! TOO MANY PICTURES!!! Real Version LEGO Version
  15. This is double posting. ;-)
  16. Double posting? Huh? You didn't double post.
  17. What particularly attracted me to this series of mocs was the enormous and beautiful Library. *wub* Phes and his fellow pirates over at the pirate forum would also enjoy these, but I don
  18. There is already a thread like this one here. But I don't think there is a thread about you favorite pirate moc in general, so I think that my favorite pirate moc period is either BaronSat's Puerto Brico or ApophisV's Port Royal.
  19. I agree with you 100%, I'm not sure about my favorite, but out of all the fortesses I hate the Flying Ninja one the most, maybe it's the assymetricalness, maybe it's the wide spaces between the towers. I think the Robber's Retreat is my 2nd least favorite, I don't like the colors and how it is an ornate caslte but yet built into a rock face covered with plants. And what is with these flying ninjas? I like the Emperor's Stronghold but those trans-red dragon wings straped to the back of the ninja looks so childish, like something Megablocks would make. *n*
  20. oo7

    pirate ship

I think this ship looks nice from a distance or from far away, and the fort looks nice too and derserves it's own thread, although after a second look it apears that there are actully 2 or 3 similar forts in one folder. I've always wanted to make a fort like this but the bluecoats and redcoats mixed but I love that neat little flagpole.
  21. Redbean's Captain Sparrow looks too much like Zorro, too much black. The best Captain Sparrow I've come across is by Dunechaser, a new member of our forum with one post. ^^CLICK PIC^^
  22. You actually bought anything based on the assistance that these images have supposedly provided? Not yet, but I am planning to buy 5988 Pharroh's Forrbiden Ruins somtime in the future. I Might like a divers set sometime too....
  23. And to all who are Muslim, Happy Ramadan!
