  1. Is the Pope Catholic? But I agree with you about being a bit bland except my reasoning is not becuase it's too boring, it's because it's less realistic, I've been to Fort Ticonderoga twice and the walls are alot more textured; but that is exetremely hard too acheive in lego without using one of the multiple stone wall peices;
  2. Yes they are technic ball joints, the peices that both Ghoulrealm and Baron Sat have used for cannon balls.
  3. Peice Set list ;-)
  4. The figurehead looks interesting, too bad there's all the pics of it are pretty fussy. It has nice detail, here is a fairly scaled down stern pic that has evaded Phes showing some good detail; Yes, I concur. :-P Indeed.
  5. Or some type of Harry Potter or Fairy Tail golblin, gremlin etc.
  6. I have all of them except the "doorknob" peice behind the guns which is only in belleville sets and a belleville-esque HP set (I never understood what was up with those sets). As for the lantern, it's made of- *two 1x2 gold tiles from 2 city police sets or a city cargo train *One gold 2x2 "radar dish" from some belleville, Discovery Nasa, KK2, the Star Wars Technic C3PO, and the HP Durmstrang ship. *Two 1x1 gold round plates from HP Quiddich Practice or The Durmstrang Ship and not gold- *trans- clear 2x2 tile *two of something like this to hold it all together And the Gun rack- *Two 1x1 gold round plates from HP Quiddich Practice or The Durmstrang Ship *The aforesaid gold doorknob peice

    Aquaraiders

Whoa! how could I forget our dear old Kraken? It's not a very good picture, but here it is anyway, I also think the ship would have been better a little beefier, but hey it's a 30 euro set.
  8. I can't read German, but I see some of those names are from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island and some from real life. Are all of the names (and corresponding stories) ones of literature, pop-culture, and history or are some your own?
  9. ^^ 8-
  10. Neat little diorama with creative horses. See more pics here. Although I too am wondering what the black antenna/flagpole with the 1x1 handle plate is.
  11. Ok, thanks. Hmm, I bought the Krusty Crab mainly for the parts (my first mini-pants! 8-
  12. Here is a good picture of the Fly'in Dutchman Ship from SB Credited to XwingYoda.
  13. Thanks for geting those grest sceenshots for our veiwing enjoyment, you effort is greatly appreciated! I hope you won't mind if I post this in the SB Flying Dutchmen ship thread in the pirate forum. ;-)
  14. Thanks for those great pics Yoda! It looks great modern as for the modern nautical vessles, but the pirate ship in the wreck sould have been a bit beefier. Now to relay this news to the pirate forum...
  15. The new guns look nice, but the "guys" who need them the most, the droids, still have megaphones! And the turning mechinism looks cool too as Mutley pointed out.

    Aquaraiders

Behold, The Sunken Shipwreck!!! And see the other Aqua Raiders sets here! Discuss!
  17. Exactly! These sound way too good to be true. Ah, thanks for pointing this out, both "new" lines have the exact same set numbers, they can't be real! Wha??? They're not real becuase you said so? I don't think I'm reading this correctly.

    Aquaraiders

This seems like a good place too tell you pirates that over in the theater forum Phoinix has posted that Lego has officially announced that the 2007 Sponge bob Square pants line will include a set of The Flying Dutchman's Ship (and it's on the frontpage too). This is exactly what we have been wishing for, except I never expected we would get it through SpongeBob, but now that I do think about it it makes perfect sense! After Aquaraiders popping up just as we finished a divers discussion, the new Space news while our classic space forum is still raging, the new city and castle sets making a slight reversion back to classic lines, the SW minifig packs popping up right after a discussion about why Lego stopped making minifig packs, Jinzo's picture is looking more and more surprisingly realistic!
  19. Ah, ok sorry, that wasn't very clear, but now it makes sense.
  20. ??? If there has been pics released of course there will be sets, but if pics have been released how come they haven't found their way here yet???
  21. These look interesting, and will problaby be great sets once you take out the minifigures, especially the flyin' dutchman. I wonder how they will make sandy with that big bushy tail and space suit... Here's some more detailed info from Wikipedia- Wow, that's ALOT of new MFs. If they are smart they will use Fredrick Digory's shark head as one of those civilians.
  22. But you still did a good job Big Daddy, looks perfect! Brick Miner, any update about that PM you sent Jipay, I still can't quote quotes!
  23. Same here, I didn't ever think that you could curve a wall of small bricks like that, but now that I do it makes sense. ;-) But that was only part of the question, I still don't exactly know how he conected it to the baseplate or made the curved walkway.
  24. Wow, how has this thread evaded so? I have just saw the 5th version now, and even in those picture she looks great! I like the rigging, the brick hull looks great, and I greatly admire General Greivous' courage of starting a nautical carrer after obi cut off all this arms, I imagine it must be exremely hard to properly man a galleon with no arms. X-D I am looking forward to when the 6th version folder is moderated!
  25. Very impressive for your first try at a castle but not surprising considering the quality of your city buildings. Great details and colors too, I can't wait for more pictures! But you sure do have a heck of alot a bricks! X-O I think you might change your mind one you see a price tag.
