Oh, sorry I read it to quickly as "is it" and I assumed you used a period instead of the question mark accidentally (It wouldn't have been the first time). :-$ Yes, it is difficult, but possible.

I think the Roman Empire is unanimous. I say yay! How about Australian colonists of Gallipoli? Yes, I have aways loved the atmosphere of those kinds of things. I'm not sure if a licenced theme would be the best, but it makes great MOCs! Have you seen Obi Jaun Kenobi's Zorro? Gallery

Mr. Phes is asking me a question about photoshop? :S Something has gone wrong here....

Plus this, this, and this. I own all but the last.

Yep, that seems where it belongs, right?

To be without a home... Like a complete unknown... Like a rolling stone? :'-)

*Thanks! And this is a, uh.....view....from the side of a very steep cliff! *y* And with the whole town layout: I hope the images aren't too large. 8-| Here's the gallery.

Yeah, it's funny and very pratical. Although I'm not sure what you mean by 'charely face' (sic?)... A '96 Lego would not have used dark orange. ;-) :-D
-
Thank you! I shall post interior pictures sometime soon. Not yet. I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to buy it yet..... Thanks, I'll get you some of those pictures to... Indeed. X-D

Ah, you finally got around to editing and posting these. That's the one biggest thing Lego missed out on with the Western line - a western train. *wub* I like the locomotive, but I feel there's too much space in the middle around bottom between the sets of wheels. I'm not usually a fan for custom stickers either, but I realy like how you incorporated the the town train symbols into the decorations on the side. :-P The sides of the horse car are pefect, but the ends seem too cluttered. And tile the 'hole' in the horses. ;-)

Urge to post a Japanese guy at that........ Here's some photos of an updated city. I took the worthless beach and turned it into a small agricultural locality to deliver fresh produce to Cafe Nautica just across the street. The ship yards workers are erecting a new vessel.....

You've missed the best ones! :-P That last one is really interesting considering TLG's supposed non-violence policy....PLUS it uses a 2x5 Blue brick!! :-D There was a topic on these ads a while ago but I can manage to locate it. :-/

Ah, I see. This site used to be solely focused on Mega Bloks but it seems they've done some restructuring. A few of our EB members posted in this two-page thread: http://bloks.hyperboards.com/index.php?act..._id=390&start=1
-
Well that's just craptastic!!!! *sweet* Thank you, Ms. Aredhel, for sharing with us your full account of this authentically crap set to ensure our maximum bashing pleasure! Now I will be sure not to buy it...... http://megabloks.com/ ;-)

Very cool! *y* *y* I've made cubes like these before, but the layers didn't rotate like this one! There's an effective design using only these bricks and the tiles for the outside. In this case, you would use at most one hundred and eight. I also fixed your 'Maarten Steurbaut' link for you. ;-)

Yes. I too saw Spellcaster 4D while in Legoland California a few months ago. It came around a long while before the release of the new castle line, but I imagine TLG had been planning it for a very long time. And I don't see why these movie companies fail to name these Imax thingies correctly. Everything in the universe has four dimensions otherwise you'd only be able to see it for an infinitely small fraction of a second before it would exit our linear time line. If anything at all the movie would be 5D...... :-P

Ah, but it is a witty saying! It's probably one of the wittiest of witty sayings out there! Yes, I think you are 100% correct. :-P 1. Yes, I could have made that post much more aggressive if I wanted to, if that's what you're asking ;-) 2. I did use a serious tone but it was not in the least cruel. I did not use multiple furious looking, shouting emotions in my post. I used a wink and a confused face. I was encouraging positive progress through peaceful recommendations and some constructive criticism. Informing Mr. Island Boy that he needs better focus for a successful topic is certainly not being mean. :) 3. The term 'freakin' is a harmless and perfectly acceptable euphemistic adjective (personally I thinks it's slightly humorous in addition) Nicely handled, Commander Scouts. I should try that BBcode variant sometime. :-P Your 'jerk' analysis is, unfortunately, indeed very true. Spelling and the quality of one's writing is a key part of common etiquette and subliminal factor of one's rudeness (pertaining to a certain action). Yes, the tone does seem maybe a bit to serious at some points, but the message does not seem so to me. I did not criticize Mr. Island Boy for what he has done, but recommended him to do better in the future. I see no problem in that. The two should contribute to Aredhel's and Bonaparte's threads like Mr. Phes pointed out, and/or post their own creation like I suggested. *y* Now; this discussion is going nowhere, fast. I suggest that Mr. Island boy should find a good use for this topic with a productive central focus. Until then, I shall, with all due respect, refrain from any further discussion. :) Sincerely, Nathan

Nah, we've already done that too many times for him and his friend. I think Mr. Island Boy needs to learn for himself, or this topic should be locked. If he fails to learn as time goes on and if he makes more of these, they will be locked and he should the recieve instructeion on these topic-making skills in a dark, secluded place.

You and your friend Kahuka have made several of these "Hey, let's talk about Islanders!" topics in the past. I am unaware of what you mean by 'making a comeback' because we're 'loyal to the Islander cause'; We all like the Pirate line and the little cute Islanders that go with it! There's nothing left to discuss!! We've voted for our favorite factions and on our favoritism of islanders specifically, we've voted on our favorite Islander minifig, we've voted on our favorite Islander set, we've purged every last Brickshelf folder and gathered every last Islander MOC and posted them in your topics, we've posted links to provide possible inspiration for Islander MOCs, and in your absence we created an Islander Index thread!!! What else do you want?!?! :S Now the real question is: If you two are so feakin obsessed with Islanders why not photograph a MOC of yours so we could have something new to discuss? ;-) Really, you did ask nicely, and I do respect that, but I really don't see any apparent dignity in this topic so far. To make a successful thread, there needs to be focus. You sir, need to find better focus.

You buildin' table decorations? Anyway, out of all those I think I like "somebody else's" the best. *y* But don't get me wrong, yours are nice too. ;-) I like these very much -

Yup. Soooooooo manyyyyyyyyyyyyy topics on this.......... I'm really getting quite bored of it.

10181 Eiffel Tower this August confirmed by reseller !
oo7 replied to agrotic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Truly Breathtaking! X-O Thanks for the impeccable review of this impeccable set, Copmike! The actual design is ever so slightly disappointing, but the sheer monstrous size makes up for it by a hundredfold! I say we get it the Frontpage Treatment!! -
The tracks were probably S@H exclusives and had to be shipped from another country that S@H ships to directly, as they don't ship to China. And you can't just go shipping whatever you want into China, ya know. The "Communist" government has all sorts of pestering, deranged restrictions on commerce. He had to indeed, smuggle them.

Great design by Mr. Gould, great interpretation by Mr. Lego2000. *y* I keep flipping back and forth between pictures - what are the modifications of your variant, Mr. Lego2000? I can only spot the exclusion of that yellow flower.
