  1. Ahh, nice review of a some nice sets. But I do still have one question; what torsos do the jousting knights have under their armor? Gotta love those new weapons. *wub* Chrome Helmets...Mmhhmm. Slick. *y* Are these just sitting on shelves in your Lego Store? If they were anywhere besides the back room I'd expect they would sell out very quickly, no?
  2. Considering it's supposed to be a preliminary image, that's everything but unusual. Regardless, I still am thinking it's a good photoshop job.
  3. Thank you for this wonderful review, Yoda! This set is an absoulute must for a city fan, the best city set in years, probaly for a decade. I'm a little disapointed with the office, it's much smaller than I expected, but besides that everything looks so cool! Especially the Captain with the white shirt! 8-
  4. Yep. Wikipedia is not to be trusted for Lego set information. Anyone can edit in whatever they want. We've seen all those, except why does the Chum Bucket look like a large rocket and a lift-off tower with bob and patrick at a picnic table? 8-| The picture does look like a 'Sandy's Rocket' but the caption says 'Chum Bucket'.....weird.....
  5. *sad* Was that really necessary? I've never understood why people do this. And I've never recieved an answer.
  6. Yep. We've had a couple of these debates already. The more I look at that car the weirder the solid yellow looks. It just needs another sticker or two to be the perfect NYC Taxicab.
  7. Mhhh? What's wrong with mine? My hat shades the face! It doesn't have a realistic background but that's not a problem, is it? Yours is great too, he's not necisarrily standing outside, unlike Captain Shackton, so why should it matter?
  8. I have absolutely no idea who Jimmy Fallon is but I saw this on the Yahoo home page and found it very entertaining. Check it out: http://mtvmovieawards.yahoo.com/spoofs?video=3 :-P The longer you watch it the better it gets.
  9. Yes, interesting indeed. I believe you could benefit from taking a look at this thread - http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=3802 You might also want to check out this Bricktestament sequence - http://www.thebricktestament.com/exodus/eg...d/ex14_21b.html
  10. A thing of great beauty you have here, mutley. The idea for the sliding ramp is cool but don't you thing the end part's a little steep? :-P And because I'm too lazy to count - How many troopers does it fit? KimT - yes, fellows have mod powers here. I edited your post.
  11. Well that was kind of spammy. 8-|
  12. http://icanhascheezburger.com/ http://www.zerosummind.com/2007/05/l337-katz0rz.html I like this one X-D
  13. AND the history of your much beloved Empeial France!! X-O (You are certainly welcome.) Now that I'm at my PC, the pictures as promised; Unfortunately these are the only ones I have left and they're from partway through the digital manimulation process. Yay!! :-D I made Steve's day! That would make me some sort of divine postulated supernatural deity, wouldn't it? X-D
  14. Awesome folder! :'-) Looking good, Alex. Now you need to cover the green floor with better colored plates! :-)
  15. I'm hoping you mean Millenium Falcon... :-P Moro Islamic Liberation Front? I had no idea you were a Muslim separatist rebel, Master Yoda! Congratulations, that's truely a wonderful accomplishment. Please continue your noble work down there in the Southern Philippines! :'-) Really.....that is quite interesting..... Nope sorry, but they do accept republican credits. *y*
  16. Thank you, Asuka. One wonders how I could have made it look more overwhelmed. 8-| Yep, that did occur to me, but not immediately. :-P Although I must say.......Team America.....is sooo stupid :-| (please don't hurt me). That's a big part of what makes H&A my favorite theme! Thank you Yoda, I'll see if I have some more later when I get back to my PC. This is for you, Mr. Athos; X-D Please don't kill me.
  17. :-D :-D :-D Brilliant! What a wonderous birthday gift! It's currently on reservation at La Boulangerie de la Cyb
  18. I mostly based it off pictures. I know you simply adore wikipedia so I'll provide you with the page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Puebla I've also been thinking I've obscured the pictures too much, so here's a better (?) one.
  19. Or this one - http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30359b
  20. Brick Miner, you do have the ability to post in the Frontpage News forum, do you not? 8-|
  21. Yes, I do. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/highland...ten/detail2.jpg Maybe we pirate fanatics should PM Highlandcattle and beg for a review. >8-) :-D

    More like frighteningly recognizable! 8-
  23. I saw this on brickshelf quite a bit ago. It looks like the same set with extra stickers. Not too special if you ask me. TLG does this with many of the new airport sets. Check out the matching set invintories for the black short legs, each airline gets special stickers to go with the same set. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=41879&in=S
  24. Hey, any chance you could sqeeze my city in there? It would be most appreciated. Thanks.
  25. Thanks for the generous compliment, Asuka, but I really think you're stretching its truthful greatness. 8-| Well, in that case, I'm glad you loved it so much. *sweet*
