  1. It seems he went through our thread too. They're posted in the same order. :-)

    Pirate Ship

Ah, very well. In that case you might want to consider taking a took at Ghoulrealm's WIP. It's a shame, the two more updated pictures have been removed from his hosting website, but the older on is still there.....maybe we should PM him.
  4. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Unfortunately I own two of them. :-X
  5. Ah, very well. I like it much, the only possible improvements would be to take the anchor off the netted mast rigging and to add some rope rigging around the top and such. Excellent job. *y* If I were captain I think my eyes would begin to hurt after staying in that cabin for an hour or so...... :-P But most importantly....nice pool!
  6. You're probably right. Ha. :-P
  7. Not the best picture, but it works. It seems I prefer the minifigures in the set displayed at the beginning of the thread. The guy has no headgear? And that ax seems to have the exact proportions of the viking one, except it's one piece. Strange. And also......why was this thread locked then opened then locked then opened again? :S
  8. Thesaurus: Hard Working Ha :-P I do not use Thesaurus.com. I use m-w.com. It's quickest and easiest to type. Ha. :-P Well, as you should be able to deduce, that is meant to be lego ;-) I had to use modulex bricks to get the smaller scale I have fully deduced, it was a joke. ;-)
  9. I knew someone would pipe up about that, and it's funny because I didn't use a thesaurus! I tried to after the first four words, but it didn't have an entry for 'hard-working', so I used a distionary instead for the fifth one. Ha. :-P Hotest hands in the West.....The Master of the Quatro Brick.
  10. Mr. Athos plays with Quatro? :-P Interesting indeed. My my, what a big chair he has..... Plus, I think you need to study up on your adjectives. You could have used 'laborious' or 'diligent' or 'assiduous' or 'industrious' or 'productive', perhaps even 'onerous'. Although if it were me, I'd use 'constructive'. X-D Fairly humourous overall. Job well done. *y*
  11. He said the word "WAMPA"!!! 8-
  12. Lord Bonaparte said he was a CC member, so mabey you should request for him to PM Mr. Hobtook.

    Pirate Ship

Aye, welcome to the Eurobricks Pirate forum, mate! Nice little ship you've captured here, it's like the one from the Imperial Trading Post execpt with more red and less white and yellow. Although I do think the Bowsprit proportions are a bit off. Anyway, it's great to hear you'll be tackling a Flyin' Dutchman, do you plan to base it off 'A dead man's chest' like your avatar suggests?
  14. Something like that, yes. Although those are advertised as chrome silver and are probably from an even cheaper ripp-off clone brand, the Chinese 'Enlighten'. Brickshelf Gallery. These are direct blatant copies of Lego sets made by Chinese who don't follow patent laws. Naughty, naughty.
  15. COBI pirate LEGO clones, I'd bet.
  16. That makes sense, because I was observing Apo's fig and I realized the fig at the K*B Toys I saw and the figs from the your set have more Lego-like proportions. The legs of COBI are square and identical to Lego. The feet of the old bestlock were round. Perhaps COBI was Polish and Bestlock was Italian. P.S. Do you have any good pictures of the figures that came with your COBI set?
  17. I've seen this before, Best-lock is made by COBI. It's an Italian brand that has been posted here in the form of ebay auctions and pyromaniacal experiments multiple times before. ApophisV posted a Best-lock pirate review here, not so long ago. I've never seen it in a store until about a week or so ago when I spotted it two 'war' sets on the shelf with Lego and Megabloks in a K*B Toy Works. It had a minifig displayed under the plastic of the front of the box and it didn't look half bad......
  18. I would love to enter, but I'm not sure if (or when) I'll find the time. :-/ Good entries so far!
  19. Greetings and Salutations to you, Tom! It seems that you're the fellow who made the Helms Deep and took those pictures I posted here. Welcome to Eurobricks! *y*
  20. Good sugestion, but I already checked that the power switch was 'On' and it was plugged into the outlet. I learned that the hard way. :-$ But no worries, afterwards I eventually figured out the problem; I needed a bigger hammer!! *sweet* >:-) Hold on - Droidekas? You mean those ancient piles of rusted srap-metal manufacted by the sepratasts oh-so-long ago? What on Coruscant are doing with those hunks o' junk?!
  21. General oo7 to Commander Scouts..... I'm having some real problems here with the tachyon condensation in the internal chambers, everytime I disengage the system the whole damn thing overloads! The hyperdrive mainframe is controlled by three primary main processing cores cross linked with a redundant melacortz ramistat and fourteen kiloquad interface modules. The core elements are based on FTL nanoprocessor units arranged into twenty-five bilateral kelilactirals with twenty of those units being slaved to the central heisenfram terminal (now this is the isopalavial interface which controls the main firomactal drive unit). The ramistat kiloquad capacity is a function of the square root of the intermix ratio times the sum of the plasma injector quotient. I don't understand what's gone wrong! :'-( :-P You'ld think the word platoonic would describe a platoon, not a system of air-born explosive projectile propulsion.
  22. Ahh! Nice....and creepy! Although Mosiacs never impress me like System does. :-/ Ah, I see our top-notch spec ops agent had infiltrated your ranks in his mission of reconnaissance! Excellent. () Thanks for sharing, Mr. Vahkimetru.
  23. A tough choice, but I went for the "The aeronautical pilot (no. 1)". Best uniform, nice head.
  24. Classic Pippen is nice, new Pippen's eyes are too far apart, Alexis is plain creepy, and Jing Lee is good and simple, but the eyes do seem slightly to large for a minifig. Maybe this is so to emphasize her Chinese origin (?). Classic Pippen it is. :-P
