  1. I completely understand where you're coming from, but is there an opportunity to combine vehicles and current/upcoming licences? A Plow King truck from the Simpsons license, for example, could be large, technical, functional and contain purple to draw in buyers from outside the franchise. Edit: I meant Plow King instead of Mr. Plow
  2. I was wondering whether Lego would ever reintroduced branded Technic Sets. And I'm not talking about Ferrari, Williams or Lamborghini. From memory I can only recall there being a few Technic star wars characters, but never any vehicles. So my questions to you guys are do you think we'll see it anytime soon, and if so what would you like to see? I'd personally like a Batman Tumbler and a BTTF DeLorean that lights up like a Christmas tree.
  3. I'd like to see a large, sporty buggy that looks like it could power over the rocks. Much like the 8297-B
  4. In hindsight I realise this could be interpreted as unappreciative I still think this is a fantastic mod and it really works! Nicely done
  5. I can't see any extra blue pieces. All he's done is turned the boot (trunk) into an extended roof with black parts. I could be wrong, but the side panels and back of the car look the same to me.
  6. It sounds like you got 2 of one bag instead of the other. It shouldn't happen, but I guess it's easily done. I just wonder if there's someone out there with 2 lots of the pieces you're missing and 70 pieces missing :S
  7. Thats a beautiful vehicle? What wheels and propulsion does it use?
  8. Yes that's right. When you gear down (small gear to larger gear) , the driven gear is always slower but more powerful. When you gear up (large gear to smaller gear), the driven gear will be faster but with less torque.
  9. I think all technic models have vastly improved since the introduction of the new panels in the 8258 (although I really dislike the new 1/4 cylinder) because before they just seemed a bit.. gappy. It's the same reason I don't like the flex cable designs for supercars. In terms of beauty, I'm going with the Unimog, the Boss or the green service truck. (All very recent I know but TLG have really stepped up their game)
  10. Unfortunately i don't think we'll see standard minifig heads in this line - I mean can you imagine Apu with a round head?! Although i think custom moulds could work on regular minifig bodies for bart and lisa with fairly oversized heads, but everyone else is going to be a blend of friends/toystory/hagrid.
  11. I can't believe this is an issue that has been going on for over 5 months :/ I understand the QC issues and I actually praise Lego for that, but with 20K servos and 40K Ls being churned out for 41999, I don't understand why we still can't see anything. I'm hoping that when the (final?) batch of crawlers goes out on Sept 19th the factories can start supplying us through S@H
  12. This is so nice, a really beautiful build. If it wasn't for the 42000 hubs I'd have a go myself :( I agree this should be CUSOO'd, although they'll probably end up just sticking a V4 underneath and a HOG on top!
  13. Thanks, black it is then! Hopefully I'll also get the lights and winch to work remotely too.
  14. Are those the wheels from the nitro/f1 2013?
  15. Red paint-job with black racing stripes 2 sets of LEDs Studless bucket seats. Don't know whether to go with black or bley wheels? What do you guys think?
  16. I agree. I've been following this forum and builders like Sariel and Zblj for years, but the 41999 has got me buzzing and wanting to get involved. Whether I'll ever get my hands on a couple is another story!
