  1. Thanks for that, is that a new Elrond next to the Chima croc?
  2. I came on today after work, and here I see all this talk of a new joker? Apparently now the pictures have been removed, or are "unavailable". So I went on brickipedia and sure enough I saw the new variant. I really like the face and hat, the printing seemed nearly identical to the last one until I gave it a good look. No problem there, I actually really liked the original joker (from the funhouse, not the batman line), so the fact that they could make a new one so similar to the last, and still look great, is well just great! Hope to see new pictures soon, do we usually get them at around later October or mid-October?
  3. Thank you, so in a few years or so, when I have made it the Knight rank I'll change my username. Those 14 words helped a lot. Sorry, I just read that and it may have sounded a bit sarcastic, I am actually thankful, the comment just sounded a bit rude (I just read over my comment).
  4. Hello to all. This is my second time starting a topic here on eurobricks, my first one was closed because it could've been discussed elsewhere, (it was a pre-existing topic). So today I was surfing through the site and clicked on the B/S/T/F and came across something interesting that I wanted to ask about and I couldn't find anywhere else on the general discussion forum to ask this, so here goes to hoping this doesn't get closed down. I signed up for eurobricks to enjoy the well organized forums and up-to-date news that I had previously seen before I joined (I use to come to read whitefang's review of the Collectable minifigures series). Anyways when I signed up, I thought the username's HAD to include numbers, or something Lego related etc. Little did I know the names could just be a simple, yet creative name that didn't need all those unnecessary numbers and dates and what not (not trying to insult anyone's name, I'm just a bit uncomfortable with mine). So today I was on the b,s,t,f forum and read the instructions for posting, and I also came across the "straight shooter's list". Somewhere within those 2 topics I read something about notifying the staff if you changed your name. I read that and thought to myself, "I could change my name"? So I decided to ask if I could change my name and not have to make a new topic for it, but I couldn't find an existing topic that talked about name-changing. I made my name thinking it had to be something like Legonumbersandabbreviations, and now I look at my name all the time and feel a bit awkward because it didn't have to be made like this. I guess the bottom line of what I am asking is: can I change my name? how can I do it? and is this an appropriate topic to start a new thread on, or should I have commented elsewhere? Hope someone can help me, whether it be through the comments or a helpful PM,
  5. I remember Batman the brave and the bold having a cartoonish style, an not an animated type style. I don't know the proper terms for animation, I just don't believe that is the style the brave and the bold was made in. Thanks for that, looks great! Does anyone else notice that creator set next to Tony Stark? Can't remember the set number, great detail though.
  6. I'm just hoping the sets are worth the wait, I also hope they don't put Batgirl in the man-bat set. I'm not a fan of man-bat and don't want to buy a "spare parts" figure (we all knew Lego was going to do it after Monster fighters) and a figure I already have plenty of (batman) to get batgirl. Look at me getting all worked up over a set I haven't even seen, so yeah I guess it's fair to say the wait is a bit painful.
  7. I really like some of these ideas, others seem to be adding the word female in front, and nothing else. Anyway I decided to make my own list and here it is! Series 1: Magician - Magician's assistant Zombie - Voodoo Doctor Nurse - Sick patient (with a blue face showing he's about to hurl) Tribal Hunter - Rival tribal warrior (different than s.10 tomahawk warrior) Spaceman - Blacktron space trooper Cowboy - Sherriff Series 2: Maraca man - Mariachi musician Witch - Country girl, Tinman, and Lion suit guy (with scared expression)
  8. I'm so excited Lego is finally releasing a batgirl fig. Her hair piece is great, but her printing seems weird to me for some reason.
  9. I don't think Sabertooth would need any new moulds, in the video game he just has Wolverine's hair, and no accessories. I may like the way the mansion looks in the movies, but the characters would probably look better if they appeared the same way they did in the game. The mansion could easily be based off of the movies while still having classic designs. So I would say "call it comic based and make it look exactly like the movie! Good idea though, the minor details of the movie are what make up the mansion.
  10. I doubt it, making sets for that would really hurt Lego. People (including myself) are already having a hard time adjusting to the fact that Lego announced a superheroes theme and made it mostly batman. On the bright side they've finally remade most of the old Batman line and are able to branch out more. If lego finally remade everything just to go back to making more batman, I think it's fair to say their sales would take a beating. Characters like Metallo, Braniac, Sinestro, and Ra's al ghul are popular enough to hold their own set (with big time characters alongside them like superman green lantern and batman that is). Can you imagine what people would think if Lego bailed on making sets for those huge characters for the million of police officers they already have in Lego city?
  11. He claims he saw them in a toy catalogue. I believe his rumoured star war sets were correct so.....
  12. This sounds great, hopefully we get him in his own set (with Sinestro? PLEASE let it be Sinestro!) I will probably get him either way, I don't think he will appear in BTB which means he will almost certainly be comic-based. I know we get pictures in October (usually) but when exactly do we get set names and minifigures?
  13. There is no guarantee he will be available elsewhere, but I would be grateful we even got War Machine, he appeared the most out of the two armor Colonel Rhodes used.
  14. I know this may or may not be the place to say this (I couldn't figure out where) but the mold on the series 11 Holiday Elf could be used as a Green goblin hat.
  15. The name of the polybag he comes in is called "gun mounting system", which means the polybag is for the base he's on, I think there is a HUGE chance of seeing an Iron Patriot (SDCC, or as a bonus for paying $75+) he is not what you really get when you pre-order the game, you get the "gun mounting system", there is no word on whether or not we will get him, but the only thing exclusive in the pre-order is the mounting system, so yes there is a chance :)
  16. I'm no going to lie, those look hideous. I would prefer they do duplo.
  17. Then I will definitely anticipate October. It'll be interesting, I hope whoever rumoured the X-Men sets are right, maybe we're getting 3 X-Men characters in a set instead of 3 sets in total?
  18. I believe Lego will probably make some announcement on the Spidey sets first, I think I spotted a comment about the Avengers Assemble T.V series, and I just want to say that the probability of getting sets for that is unlikely.
  19. This sounds great. Will the junior line be counted as the regular line? Because that would mean it would take up the amount of sets they would make. Oh well, as long as the X-Men sets are comic based, and they release good quality sets (at least one non vehicle), then no complaints from me. But finally some more X-Men
  20. There is a lot to be covered in this theme and we want to see it happen, if that means renewing the contract then so what? We're not becoming "worse" or "bad" people because we want to know if we can get what is generally expected from this theme.
  21. Again, when was the theme scheduled to end?
  22. ^ Haha let's just hope so!
  23. Do you know exactly when it was planned to be dis-continued? I would love for them to renew the License, and finally make 10 sets per theme, I guess I kinda like the feeling of a broken wallet.
  24. If only Lego took in some advice, and started making more sets for this theme. The superheroes theme (in my opinion) has the most potential to deliver sets for a very long time, without seeing much re-hashes. If Lego made 10 sets for Marvel before the end of 2013, as I have said before, they could make 3 more Thor sets and 2 X-Men sets. Both of which would be highly anticipated. I also think they could make 3 Cap. sets, 3 GOTG, and 2 Ultimate Spiderman sets, along with 2 Amazing Spiderman sets for 2014. Of course I must have posted that about 4 times now, but really, what harm can be done by giving us 10 sets instead of 6?
