  1. Later on today? There isn't much of later on left! It's good, although I did think initially it would be a little bigger. Oh well, there's no problem with small!
  2. Tricky-brick, I like your first one. In fact, I think it's quite a good one. But the second one confuses me, I'm afraid.
  3. What's the matter with community? You say that as though it's a bad topic.
  4. Thanks for the tip. I'm not really very good at the mechanical side of MOCs yet, and to be quite honest, I didn't realise the final product would look as good as it did and just wanted to get it finished! Originally, it was just meant to be a lift idea but I decided to make the terrace as I built onto the original framework. Not yet but I may make some to go with this...
  5. I now have the video. Regretfully, it's not the best-quality video, but it'll do. http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN86vlxrMe8
  6. I use a mix of techniques. If the lighting is good, I use natural lighting. If it is bad, I use artificial, which basically consists of a small desklamp aimed slightly to the side of the Lego, which lights it without causing a reflection. I film with a webcam that has no flash, so that's luckily not an issue for me!
  7. Learns something new every day (almost) is probably because I put that as a reply at least once (it may be more, I haven't the greatest memory.) It scared me the first time I saw it, as it had me thinking, "I don't remember that being there before!"
  8. I am starwarsfanatic because... I love Star Wars!
  9. I, too, have that problem. It's annoying, but I find the problem is magnified in LDraw, where I cannot, no matter how hard I try, ever get the hands and arms to fit properly onto the minifigures. They just do not want to go at the right angle.
  10. Looks good, but... Did you draw/paint on Lego!!!!???? How could you?
  11. That is one good question. Can I just ask where you heard it would be out in April? I haven't heard a thing.
  12. Much better than anything I've ever done on LDD. What is their frequency?
  13. Not bad. I like how you used black and white image for effect - it came out very well. And the MOC itself is fab too!
  14. I have got some pictures here of a MOC I made today of a terrace, with a working lift. I will add shortly a video showing the lift in action and a main picture. The first version came out blurry and I just realised whilst attaching the images. :(
  15. That is phenomenal. Seriously, it has to be one of the best MOCs I've ever seen. And you say it's your first?
  16. I like that, very good. The story is well thought-out and there is a lot of attention to detail (jester).
  17. Is this the place to put which of the minifigs you like the most? Because if so, I must say that so far, the best one from S4 for me is the artist. Especially as the beret is useful for military MOCs (instead of legions of medics, why not have officers?) But I also like the look of the footballer, which I hope to get shortly.
  18. Personally, I don't see why you'd need to tell the parts apart. From my experience, the only damage to any Lego came from parts from the last century which were not produced in China and had basically spent a whole week in the summer sun heating up before being pressed down hard onto a minifig head. China elements don't seem to have any difference in quality to me.
  19. I know the feeling! Anyway, it's a good MOC, but as has already been said, the front is perhaps a little bland.
  20. It looks good, but I'm not sure about the mixing of yellow-heads and fleshies
  21. That truly is one of the best ancient-history MOCs I have ever seen, if not THE best! Well done, dongo!
  22. I hate programs that don't autosave. Wordpad is the same, and when I lost MS Office I had to use that for word-processing. And my computer would crash all the time (if it was unplugged and turned on for more than fifteen seconds!)
  23. Thanks for the help, but I use MLCad! EDIT: Oops! Didn't realise I'd put in the quote twice.
  24. I enjoy this one: by blobstudios
