Silly me.

A new mold would be good for Kit Fisto, but it would be unlikely. However, maybe four years is enough time to warrant a new mold. Just look at the Hoth Rebels, of which it is impossible to accumulate much of an army because they're never the same in two sets (so it seems).

KimT, do you know something we don't?

What?! The non-motorised came out six years ago!

MOC: Servant 1- Mandalorian short range fighter craft
starwarsfanatic replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I never even realised xwingyoda left EB! Anyhoo, great MOC with great colour scheme. -
Why does the rumoured exclusvie AT-AT set have to include something new. An AT-AT without Power Functions would suffice for me, as long as it had a new torso for General Veers.
-
I didn't know the new Republic Gunship had a Bacta Tank. Want! EDIT: Corrected a mistake (space between "Want" and "!")
-
THIRD! Zam Wesell was double-sided and we think the clone pilots from the new arc will be. Wait, that makes it fourth!

I went for above average. This podracer has everything a podracer would need, but as many previously have said, the power cables are wrong - I think. Apologies if you've since remade it. I haven't had access to the correct resources to check but I don't think the cables were there.

I just want to see the version from the LSW set with a better (preferably yellow) head. New hair and leg moulds, what could be better? Sorry about the yellow - I am a "yellow-head" fanatic as well as a SW one.

Millenium Falcon : minifig midi scale
starwarsfanatic replied to Dark Zion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I never thought a model could be a true midi-scale minifig model. Clever how, although the X-Wing midi is to scale (roughly) with the Falcon, it can still fit a figure in. Good work. And a nice MOC to show for it! YAY! I'm a citizen now! -
[gasp] Amazing work! [/gasp] I couldn't make a castle like that. Amazing work. Is it in the place it will be displayed at Belug? If not, I hope it doesn't come crashing to the ground when it is moved there. That would be like a nightmare for you, especially after all the hard work you must've gone through.

A very good piece of work, with a nice humorous ending. It's too big to be a vignette, but I've never heard of a bignette. Just call it a MOC.

Just looking at that amazing MOC, I had a vivid picture of the Governor's face when BrickBeard jumped from the barrel. However, I'd have thought tempers would be fraught from that point on. A very good MOC though, but the closest point to the camera, with the parrot on a rock, is a little blurry. Good, though!

Arrr! There be good comments ahead! Almost every ship I've found thus far along Classic-Pirates.com is at the highest standard expected on EB, and this ship is certainly no exception. Make all of your enemies bow down to you. However, when I first saw it I was awestruck by it's sheer size! Never have I seen such a large ship. Yet you say on the thread title it's a work in progress. Does this mean there will be a bigger version or just some slight detail changes?

Very funny brickfilm! What FPS did you use for the film? Moving away from the technical questions, this is a very good idea - original. Great voices, and I like the end when the pirate who attempted the "Magic Trick" says, "oh...", as though he was unaware of what he had done. A short film - the first step to becoming a true brickfilming great - well, actually more like step 5. Step 1 is having some LEGO!

WIP: Achille and Guerrière, French Frigates of 28 guns
starwarsfanatic replied to BrickPerfection's topic in Pirate MOCs
That is a very good MOC. I could never make a ship like that, no matter how hard I tried. Although I think that might be due to the fact that I have no hull elements or sails, or various other important aspects of a ship. Good job, Perfectionist! -
Good work. I've never seen that yellow part at the top before. It looks like a LEGO fly swatter! You're right, it is a good pirate MOC, but it has a medieval feel to it. Seems like the transition period - the first pirates are taking to the seas! Arr!
-
As quite a few people have asked, where did you get the heads and hands for the soldiers? The MOC itself is quite good. Nice positioning of the Native there. But it looks more like a miniature hut than an outpost. That may just be me, however. I don't know much about the Spanish colonial structures. Good roof textures there - I see a bit of SNOT! EDIT: Looking at the MOC again, I see that it is a colonial outpost - at a first glance looked like a log hut. Excellent work!
-
Good work but I can't see the flag on the painting. I see you have used custom decals for the torsos. Are they from the EB library?
-
A very good and funny MOC! Inventive and original - two qualities found in the best MOCers (MOCcers, MOCkers, MOCas... whatever floats your boat! )

I voted for Enchanted Island because I don't own any Classic Pirates sets of any subthemes and the set is highest Classic Pirates on my list.

A fantastic film! I just watched it for the fifth time, it's so good. The sets alone must have taken hours to build, and the stop-motion is great quality! I first found this film by reading this very thread before I joined, several months ago, and remembered the thread was here. As a result I decided to post my say. Excellent! What inspired you to make this film? I make brickfilms sometimes but can never come up with an idea.

Pirate ship in classic style with classic heads and classic colour schemes. Not gonna happen, but what I want!
