How much is Z paying people to join Nocturnus?

OOC: I love that blue faction, working on one myself. IC as Paulos: The problem I see with the stated Orc Lands is that they lay on the escarpment's second passage. I believe we have a small guard settlement there already, but there were plans by the council to build a much larger city there for better protection. If these plans have been abandoned, we will still need someone to watch that road (which I believe may be a toll road at the moment). I suppose if the Orcs were willing to be that guardian it would be OK. Having had Orc friends myself (who died at my side at Queenscross) I am alright with an Orc on the council.

I hope your father is doing well! I am having real trouble getting anything that I really want... I have a million climbers and welders now. I have found two barbarians and two Bavarian girls, but no Tikis, yetis or elves. I am going to go to another TRU today or tomorrow to check.

Welcome Snojd! There are some intimidating builders, collectors, and photographers here, but we don't bite, and welcome everyone who wants to join. We all understand that this project is about improving your building and having fun, there is room for everyone, regardless of experience building / photographing.

Hey Sir Jonathan, I wanted to say this before anyone jumped in and said the same thing more rudely. A lot of people here get cranky when really old posts are dredged up for comments that could be made in guild threads. They feel that it bumps newer threads down so that they do not get the same attention. I don't really care, but this does bug some people and I wanted to let you know for the future. We kind of have to pick and choose what we resurrect from time to time. I hope that did not come out wrong, I just didn't want anyone to jump down your throat.

I know ZC said this already, but it should be LCC is a lot like GoH, because we were first, and many of us actually had a part in spitting ideas to LCC that we thought would be fun variations... of course not all of us stayed with both projects. As for challenges, all builders can participate in all major challenges, despite the guild. Each guild leader will probably be putting up a few guild only minor challenges to keep people occupied.

This is acceptable, some of us have many characters and one main sigfig. I have purposely not corrected people before when they got your gender wrong, I didn't know if you wanted people to know or not, but he kind of through it out there and thought I should tell him. haha. I expect you to put the appropriate pressure on him to choose the right guild. Speaking of multiple guild families, my brother has been in Mitgardia for two years, he just rarely participates. I talked to him last night, he is not sure if he will re-sign up or not and for which guild, he does not know. I assume he would stay in the frosty North.

Yeah, we are the guild with the most women. If we can steal Cara, I think that would make us the guild with ALL the women! Muhahaha.

Slightly off topic, but is there really people who only buy megabloks? are these the people that look at us in the Lego isle and sneer? Is this how Nocturnus got so many icky looking creatures? they were once megabloks collectors that became so green with envy they went to live in the swamps??? haha. See I brought it back on topic. I used to be a purist, but the altbricks and brickarms pieces really do lend something to customization. I think the trick is not to overdo it. And to the topic at hand, anyone making up a race to put in Nocturnus? I hope we see some new races out of the competition.

Many of us use normal blue also, sometimes dark red too. We tend to stick to lions, but as with any guild in Historica, you can use any faction signal you want. The explanation for this was that there were many noble houses and kingdoms before the creation of a united Historica, and their descendents roam the four corners of Historica today. She organized the whole thing, oh wait, did you mean "her work?" I was speaking of Kai the person, not her character which is male.

Better watch it, some say the dead have ears. haha. Lots of changes happening between Avalonia and Nocturnus!

My brother Scarst has a town or two on the Isle of solitude. We actually fought the battle of Khordeem there. He doesn't build often, and I don't know if he will even re-sign up for book 2 since he only ever made a couple free builds and helped me run that battle and Queenscross. Maybe his town of Skaeren can be under your protection?

I went by most popular name used :) On another note, I didn't put titles earned through contests on this post. I can do that, but I don't remember what all of you had, other than NM was Master Cartographer and DM won the Defender of the Weak title (wait, is that what we called that going to war challenge?) I think Gabe has won a few challenges. I think if we are giving titles that Kai should get one as the "Promoter of the Realm" for her work organizing the tour of Kaliphlin -- other lords and ladies, what do you think?

You know, if Lars doesn't win, he could have a pretty successful career south of the border in Kaliphlin... Just saying. We would take Mich too.
