Haha, hello everyone ! Guess who ! Last weekend, I was playing with parts, and decided to make a Sonic Screwdriver. My Sonic Screwdriver, inspired by the Eleventh Doctor's one. Unfortunately, it dosen't make any sound or light (if I had the needed stuff and the knowledge I could, I think there's enough space to fit batteries, a LED, a sound block, and wires). :/ Brickshelf The gallery is not public yet, I hope it will be soon, and I hope you will enjoy my MOC. C&C welcome, of course. :)

A time-travel theme would be awesome, and very interesting, but such a plot wouldn't be too complicated for kids ? I think an Ice theme is more likely, or a submarine one. But IMO, in DraikNova's list, the space theme is the best. We could then get new flying vehicles, and a coherent story, something like "Warning, Heroes ! Von Nebula has been seen with a new crew of villains, he's on a close asteroid and he's gonna attack Hero Factory ! You have to wear your new space suits to fight them !" Yeah. I would definitely buy space-based sets.

Saw it on flickr, awesome MOC, Brick Vader ! Good work on the trees and the rocks (and on everything else, but I especially like the rocks).

I agree with you, but I still have to find a way to do it properly, without have to limit the arms movement, as you said. That's why I think I will build other Toa with this kind of torso, but I will try to improve it. Thank you. :) For the weapon, I didn't wanted something huge (well, he does yet have a big axe, so I think I failed ), because for me, Orde is a guy which uses mainly his elemental powers, so he doesn't need awesome weapons to fight. And I think psionics is an awesome power, which allows its user to do almost everything he (or rather she, for most of the Toa ^^) wants. And about the build, I like keeping things simple, I just build what I have to build, and I don't like to add useless parts if they are not necessary.
-
Thank you guys ! Yeah, I saw your MOC, nice color scheme. I had considered using 2003 Gold for my MOC, but I lacked parts. :/ Why do you quite like the torso ? Are there some parts or ideas you don't like ?
-
Hello everyone ! Here's my last MOC, one of the first Toa ever created, and the first and only one male Toa of Psionics : Orde. Brickshelf - MOCPage Feedback appreciated, and of course, if you have any question, feel free to ask ! :) I hope you'll enjoy it !

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Just saw the episode. Wow. That's very impressive, some clever ideas. I'm pretty sure Moffat planned all that from the very beginning. Now, everything I want is to be the 23rd November for the Special ! -
[MOC] Stark Industries Armory [Iron Man Hall of Armor]
Leewan replied to becauseBATMAN's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's an impressive hall of armors ! Wow, I'd love to see all those suits for real ! Congratulations ! -
I agree with xboxtravis7992, it should take some time before 3D-printing reaches the injection quality. And even more time until this quality printers get public at a reasonable cost. And even at this time, people will have to get access to the parts files to print them. And reverse-engineered ones won't count as true Lego. Of course, 3D-printing will change the deal, but I think Lego will be able to take advantage of this technology. Also, I believe some 3D-printers already use ABS (the plastic used by Lego), but the quality of parts printed that way is quite low.

Blacktron's color scheme ? Hooray ! That's a very nice MOC, I love his sword, and his legs. How poseable is he ? His legs are awesome, but they are so bulky that they seem almost impossible to move. :/ Beside that, good job, and nice pictures !

Oh, awesome, thanks ! Also, could you make a render with all your suits at the same time ? That would look great !- 70 replies

A plastic prison made out of plastic, that's a brilliant idea ! No, seriously, that's a very good MOC, congratulations !
-
That's a very nice set, with nice and interesting techniques (the yellow roof, and the front, for instance). Who will dare reproduce it for a review ?
-
Very nice ! Better than many of the summer sets, IMHO. Thanks for the pictures, GRogall !

Nice ! The leather jacket is well done, I would never have thought of this part. that's a very nice idea ! But I don't really like Thomas' helmet, isn't there another part that would look better than the Space Avenger's helmet ? Also, you should build them transparent music instruments.

Very good ! Those models are instantly recognizable, and I really love your technique for the small robot's (Uplink, Sentry, Sentry plus and Ha-Ya-To's Flyer) legs and feet.

Hello everyone ! I recently made a small Star Wars MOC, for a contest on the French-speaking forum Brickyfigs. Contestants had to revamp the set of their choice, among the Star Wars, The Lord of The Rings / The Hobbit, and Superheroes themes. I chose to modernize the 4487 set, which I had back when I was a kid. I really loved this set, the micro ships gave me a lot of fun. So I said to myself "If it was released today, what would it look like ?" And here is the result : I quickly had the idea of a Planet-like set. As you can see, I reused several elements from official sets, like the asteroid field from the 75008 set, or the Jedi Starfighter and the decorated tile (I wish I made a custom one, but I lacked time :/ ) from the 75006. The JSF is slightly modified, I replaced the two black Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Studs on 2 Sides by four dark red Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight. The Slave I is inspired by the 20019 set, but heavily modified, to get a better shape. The structure is a bit fragile, but in the end, everything is quite strongly held. The arches ought to have been dark green, but because of my limited stock, I used olive green slopes, and I think it looks very good that way, so I'm glad I made this "forced choice". You can see all the pictures in the Brickshelf galery. I hope you will like it ; C&C are very welcome, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. :)

Oh, really ? I don't know, I've only seen the first movie. ^^ Well, for me, the planet - the world - is as important as the hand. Of course, as a MOC, it is way simpler (just two half-spheres put together), but as an "artisic" creation, the planet is very important. The hand and the planet shouldn't even be seen as two separate elements : they are both only "components" of the whole MOC. :) BTW, thank you for your nice comment, that's very kind. :)
-
Very nice ! And very creative, congratulations !
-
Oops, seems that I forgot to answer you. Well, thank you all. But the MOC isn't only about the hand.
