  1. Great work, perfect reproduction of the Caterhams (love the mirror with face :)
  2. Building the Mini is big fun, there is great detail. Enjoy!
  3. Hi Folks, I modified the new Mini Cooper into a convertible. Lego Scala Figures fit well to the scale of the model: Mini side by side with VW T1 bus, unfortunately not an exact match of scale: And together with my Eriba Puck camping trailer, the Lego Belville children fit well with the scale:
  4. Today I received the news, that Lego Master Builder Academy will be closed in 2014: It is with a heavy heart that I share this news: LEGO® Master Builder Academy is set to close in 2014. [...] LEGO MBA was launched in 2011 as a pilot in the US and tested in Germany in 2013. The project could see that the product was not scalable to other markets as it would have been overly complicated to provide each market with its own version.
  5. Yes, I used a greenscreen blanket plus software functions. Just my tools for proper light for filming are limited.
  6. Thank you all so much for your appreciation of this MOC. This has of cause motivated me to show another one. It is the VT11.5 TEE on Monorail. Enjoy!
  7. Hello folks, as mentioned in my previous introduction (the Monorail Station with "Little Pig Snout"), here is my interpretation of a VT11.5 Trans-Europ-Express (TEE) train as monorail. Due to the narrow gauge of the monorail the train is quite a bit smaller than minifig scale - still, I have put a driver into it Enjoy the photos and Youtube movies. If you have any questions, happy to answer In comparison to a "slightly" larger scale model: And in action:
  8. Hi of cause this is Lego Monorail: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=&catID=&itemYear=&searchName=Y&searchNo=Y&q=Monorail&catLike=W No, the weight is no problem at all. I have built monorail trains with up to 5 cars/waggons and they all work fine. Will introduce my VT11.5 Trans Europ Express Monorail later.
  9. Hi white tree leaves are sometimes available on Bricklink. Unfortunately they usually are quite expensive. Regards Dirk
  10. Monorail Train Station at night:
  11. Hi, there is a Youtube video available showing the railbus in action (just not on the display):
  12. Hi folks! I have been reading the Eurobricks Forum for many years, but this is the first MOC I am presenting here. Usually I am presenting at 1000steine, where we also founded the MoRaSt-Group. A group of Lego Monorail enthusiasts to create another MOnoRAilSTandard for presenting combined MOCs at exhebits. Last year in Munich we had a display with 175m of track running up to 15 trains at a time. Now, here is my latest creation, the station of a small village called "Winterdorf Am MoRaSt". This is part of a larger winter display I am working on. The station is fully illuminated with LEDs (as the whole display is). The little train in the station is based on the Wismarer railbus also known as Wismarer Schweineschnaeuzchen (Pig Snout) because of its iconic fronts. Enjoy the pictures :)
  13. This is not correct. Apparently Lego has decided to offer it at different prices in different countries even within the EU. This is sad. However, in Germany the set is priced just below 40 Euro (39,99) which in my view is ok value for money. I have just bought 3 of them in the Essen Lego store :) Online (s@h) availability in Germany announced for August 1st.
