  1. "You ignorant little-, " spits Atramor, stepping into the cell. He stops, however, as he hears the voice. His head turns towards the end of the corridor, and back at Blackenord. With a quiet hiss, he slams the cell door shut with a clang, walking slowly to the last cell, a guilty suspicion as to who it may be.
  2. You'd have to be eligible for the class itself (the 2 quests requirement), and in any case, I doubt Sandy would let people take advantage of classes like that. I think it's not overpowered. If it's a one-battle-use-only, you're only saving 5 gold, and that's if you're even on a quest with Nur or Rone.
  3. "Really? Fantastic, let me in." Atramor turns to Blackenord, with a malicious orange glare, an iron grip on the hilt of Ratsbane. "If you heard the sound of a hundred thousand flapping wings or the endless pounding of boots on cobblestones, it was the Rito and the true Lion Knights that a pitiful band of rogues will quake to face. The Chimera, the twisted symbol of hope the bulk of the assassins held dear, is dead. Our other allies are just about to go take Roland to justice. If you want to deliver on the promises I make, go ahead and try, because I bet you everything I own you're just going to end up sitting there on your megablocks, rotting until Dastan sees fit to have you executed...or, if you're unlucky, until I see fit to leech every last ounce of your meaningless life while one of the deadliest venoms known to Olegaia burns holes through your veins. I've been k- fighting my way through the underworld both before and during my time in Heroica, the loot's been aplenty so don't doubt my ability to do so." He runs his thumb down the flat of the blade, so that the traitor can see the poison gathering on the weapon's tip. "In addition, me and my friend here," he tilts his head to Tarn. "Have just gotten through obliterating the spirit of Emperor Brunt - no doubt you've heard of him and the trouble he's been causing since his death - and I'm eager to try out this crown of his head, which apparently will have a rather nasty effect on one's soul until the end of the round or the enemy's dead. Do you see a battle order around here? No? Well, that's because we're not in a battle. No, no, this curse will eat away at your very being for as long as you can hold out. I doubt it's very long if you have to rely on mechanical equipment and weapons to take down any one of us. Oh, but don't worry, I'm a healer. I'll keep you alive. So you can feel the endless, endless waves of pain, over. And over. And over. And over...Unless you tell us what we want to know."
  4. I don't think it's helpful to suddenly start up a vote this late, with Donna unlikely to be here in time to make a defense, and likely just end up splitting the votes, McAndrews. You're assuming a lot from one poorly-worded statement.
  5. Atramor returned the various prisoners' cold glares, while McCafferey seemed to sniff in disdain as they passed through numerous hallways to arrive at Blackenord's cell. With a sudden sigh, he crossed his arms, looking a bit upset. "Damn it. My methods of interrogation don't work if there's bars between us. Alright, I guess we'd best let Nyx take the lead."
  6. Exactly. His defense is just too simple to draw any real conclusions or information out of. My vote, again, is going to stand. These are our only two leads, and both have spoken. It's all a matter of who people will vote now - if they do at all. On the bright side, we don't have a clear-cut lynch target, but on the bright(ish) side we have two very different ones with very different defenses. Voting patterns might actually be drawn later, despite it being day one.
  7. I don't think it's overpowered. You'd still have the 2 artifact limit, right?
  8. I like it. My only real suggestion is to replace Craftsmanship with Enchantment, from Mystic Knight. And maybe let them use wands too.
  9. TLG probably won't mold anything special. Don't hold your breath.
  10. Just go the image URL you linked, it explains it. They're give-aways from the New York Toy Fair.
  11. Because it's more likely for an enemy to drop the gem itself. Even then, few Diamonds even exist.
  12. That's an extremely unlikely event that hasn't even occurred before.
  13. It's possible. Thinking about it, it's actually somewhat more likely you just screwed up. And don't say 'I wouldn't mess up if I was scum', because you don't decide when the hell you screw up. You're the best chance at scum I think we have right now, unless Pewter's defense isn't sufficient. Until then, my vote's staying where it is.
  14. Fire, wind, ice, and earth elemental. I think it's only 2 quests to get to the 'great' reputation, and, again, I think only being able to cast darkness-elemental spells and using only darkness-elemental weapons is pretty limiting to any heroes who would want to become part of the class. Of course, this is just advice.
  15. They don't. Heroes don't have elemental weaknesses. Forgotten weapons can be dual-imbued? Hover that mouse over Ratsbane in my signature for a moment. Having darkness-imbued weapons or an Amethyst as a requirement is over-the-top, to me. And scarce few enemies have been wielding elemental weapons.
  16. No, it's....not convincing either. You haven't explain at all how unscummy your actions have been, you've been rattling off for hours about scummier actions you would take. And if you can spend that long thinking about a hundred different scummier ways to get a townie lynched, then you know that they're scummier, and you're logical enough to execute then. So you pull this crap. If you're scum. I can perfectly see how incredibly stupid and asinine you'd have to be to do it as scum, but what if you were town? It's just as ridiculous a move. In which case, well, you've already admitted to confusing townies, so you're not much help anyway. Correction:...and you're logical enough to not execute them.
  17. It's the fact that heroes are classed at all that's the problem, to me, especially because whether or not an enemy's attack is light-elemental is open to debate. And having every single possible attack you could do deal darkness elemental damage is beyond limiting. It totally destroys any chance the Anubin Hunter has against undead and demons, and makes having any other gems or weapons useless.
  18. Knowing what you think what a logical scum would do doesn't clear you. And with that, I've just destroyed your entire defense.
  19. .... You do realize that the second paragraph fits right into the first paragraph, and that is exactly what you're doing? Truth be told, I don't know how dumb you are, but it's both pretty damn stupid as well as scummy. I'm not going to go wondering, step-by-step, do if you were scum, that's different for every person. I'm analyzing what you've said so far and come to the conclusion that you're the scummiest person here right now.
  20. As to the rest of your defense, you're completely missing the point. Do you have any idea how obvious it would be if you pushed for Gordon's lynch? You'd be a pretty shitty scum. No, you put up an argument and a vote, but with no votes supporting you, you wipe it off the table. A short while later, you get called out on it, not to mention you get a vote towards him, and boom, you're back on the offensive. Spearheading a day one vote doesn't automatically qualify as 'leading the town', usually it ends up as a town and the idiot (or in many cases, the scum) who started the vote in the first place berates themselves in the day thread, and doesn't bring anything else up. That's one townie down, the lyncher pretty much off the hook as a 'necessary day one vote'. In other words, it wouldn't be at all difficult to just direct this lynch, appear upset the next day, and not draw attention to yourself again. That's a good spot for a scum to be in.
  21. Vote: Timothy Mandel (Dannylonglegs). A behavioral slip-up isn't something you can just fix this easily, in my mind.
  22. I'd like my Scroll of Sealing back from Mallelio, please. "So...how've ya'll been? Anything of interest in your adventures?"
  23. Maybe something like 3. ANUB'S CURSE - The Anubin Hunter Curses their opponent at the cost of 1 ether. ...leaving Anub's Reward as the only Shield? As for Dark Spirit, I still think it would be way too much for a QM to keep track of during a quest. For something similar, but not complicated, maybe you should use the Spiritism or Natural Respite job traits instead?
  24. While I know how easy it is for an accusation to fall flat against a decent defense (aggravating as it is), the bit about voting I do find kind of suspicious.
  25. Um, the Khopesh and Scarab Shield thing's a bit silly. Docken had the only one of the shield, and completely changed its shape when he got it upgraded. The Dark Spirit job trait is just...complicated, adding hero types would get kind of cumbersome, and only being able to use darkness spells and weapons would just be ruinous against undead or demons, not to mention it's a bit pointless to imbue a weapon with an Amethyst if you had one to cast spells with. The rarity of the gem would totally throw off the class. The combination of Decoy and Deflect makes them a very irritating class for any parties to deal with, and having 3 different shields is a little over-the-top, in my mind, even though (save for the first one) they'd be pretty interesting to have. Just my thoughts.
