  1. I think Sorrow is well past his life expectancy at this point. In fact in my semi-professional opinion I'd estimate it at negative six hundred years or so. I don't know what doctor he's been seeing.
  2. "Screw this wing, we can't have that happenin' again," grumbled Atramor, shaking sand off his coat before striking at Aka Mana from the back row. I don't think the blinded effect would be there if it didn't last this round. I'll be taking the Right Wing's free hit this round, but it won't do anything plus there's no chance of rolling Sandstorm again since Left Wing will be sealed.
  3. "Anything'll be a welcome change from those bunks on the Magpie," chuckled Olmstyr. "Ah, yes. The Crimson Crown, I believe he called it. Their goals seem reasonable enough to me. Stamp out magic and make sure we aren't getting ahead of ourselves in terms of technology. Progress is absolutely welcome, but too much of it and you're just building on a weak foundation. Forgive my saying that I think their organization is just a tad more respectable than a band of sellswords." Karstaal laughed. "No offense, of course. Both your group and his are helping Clan Musalnav, and by extension all of Baltarok, just in your own ways. You're bringing together the clans, they're funding the renovation of Imaestym and a good portion of our army."
  4. I got the Back to the Future trilogy for Christmas, and watched all three movies. The first one had some deleted scenes (didn't notice any in the other movies) which were interesting, but short. The second one is still by far my favorite. So much time travel stuff going on.

"Very well, you've made your points." He turned his head to the rest of the Clanmeet. "You've all made your points. You've each made your stance quite clear, but I refuse to let you give in to the Kingdoms, or throw away this one chance at reclaiming what is rightfully ours." He pulled his helmet on, hefted the enormous greatsword off the table, and strode out. "Fool. Fool! Involving ourselves in human affairs brought us to the position we are in now." "Oh, don't be so pessimistic Marga. Humans are quite interesting, if too indecisive for my tastes. We'd do a far better job running things." "And to demand that from them would invite another war." "Then we won't demand. We'll just take it." Bastala smirked, and flanked by her fellows, left the Traaln, throwing a wink over her shoulder at Haldor as they left. Marga's glare followed her out, but she only grabbed her spear in seething silence, exiting not long after. Gor licked his lips and followed suit. Quiet fell on the Clanmeet for a few long moments. Karstaal shook his head and sighed dramatically. "Saro. Nal, oshuule saro. They simply refuse to understand." "You're not so different..," muttered Olmstyr, finally walking into full view. "Karstaal il oroc, can't you see there's at least a chance the Kingdoms are leading us on? Like it or not, we're not on the best of terms right now. We never have been. Would it kill us to be careful?" Karstaal inhaled more fumes from his pipe, the smoke curling from his lips slowly. "Maybe, maybe not." He threw a glance at the blood red orcish banner on the wall, then turned his head to the heroes, for the first time setting aside his mouthpiece. "I trust Olmstyr, so I let him carry out his plan as he saw fit. But obviously you truly do intend to bring us all together, for better or for worse...and for that, you need more than just my tolerance. You have my full support, heroes. Few I know could calm down a room full of angry orcs, much less any humans or elves. But you'll need more than just the approval of one clan leader if you mean to save my country." Olmstyr nodded, with a victorious grin. "Much thanks, my friend. You won't regret this." He tilted his head towards the heroes. "It's getting late, and I imagine you'll want supplies before we go any further. I know a mauwaln not far from here where you can both restock and get some sleep." Will the heroes stay and chat some more, or are they prepared to leave the Clanmeet?
  6. "Works for me, but the undead won't do a damn thing against these demons, Namyrra." Atramor glanced between Nyx and McCafferey, who had dropped from his shoulder and perched herself on one of the ziggurat's parapets. "Aye, but she's not actively tryin' to kill me, so I figure she's alright as far as demons go. I use one as a weapon, no reason I can't have another as a pet. If this goes over well maybe I'll have one as a shield, too..."

  8. Glad to see you're still around, Khorne.
  9. Never thought I could take a stab at politics so literally. Almost.
  10. Thorin Oakenshield's torso from Attack of the Wargs, Boromir's legs from Mines of Moria.
  11. That's mine.
  12. Magic rolling pin?? Great job scum team. Thanks for hosting such a fantastic game, TPRU.
  13. Atramor calculated the situation as he prepared his staff and shield, swallowing a Mead as fast as he could. "Namyrra, if ya' could spare a turn and use that Demon Repellent on me, there's a good chance of me absorbin' their hits so they don't do a damn thing. If that becomes the case, hell, we could all aim for the same enemy." He spun the Pheles Rod in his hand, swinging violently at the Right Wing from the back row unless Namyrra uses the repellent on him, in which case he attacks from the front row. So the Iris Shield works like the Counterstrike Gloves, basically, except it works on Damage and physical Special Damage too, right? With defense/row calculated before the damage is returned?

  15. 'If the heroes are not successful by round ten, everyone will start killing eachother'?
  16. I can tell, I know none of you were doing it entirely randomly and you all probably had a goal in mind, but you'd simply guess whatever alignment was on the way, and if you messed up the guess would remain in place, forcing you to go back and check it. You're already 4/6 correct, so you're doing quite well.
  17. It's more a matter of me overlooking how one might find the solution. I assumed it would be more like Haldor did, focusing on maybe one person at a time (another factor I didn't account for was the fact that everybody but him has diplomacy/intimidation/promiscuity ) and trying to figure out where they sat alignment-wise. But since the party had so many actions, it was just easier to slide everybody around the spectrum and guess on where they'd land at the end of the round to just eliminate all possibilities. That said, I do appreciate the RP you all did regardless of how the mechanics didn't work out so well. Heroes should probably stick to killing stuff anyway.

This bridge gives us the chance to put right all the wrongs they've inflicted on us. I intend to do so." "Scchhh. Yes, yes. Gor knows how to surv-vive. Goblo-na harsh place. Gor is great-test. Great-test of the war-lords. He knows war. He knows fight. He will bring fight to hu-mans for Marg-ga, for all the orcs and the gob-blins and the ogres. What is fight without pur-pose? Empty kill-ling, Gor thinks." "I believe in whatever cause the clan leaders see fit to fight for. We've followed their judgment for two and a half centuries, they've not yet led us astray." "If they see it as the only viable course, it's nobody place to second-guess them. Sometimes war is inevitable. I'd've thought someone from the High Kingdoms would know that best...no offense, of course." The ogre looks around at the heroes chatting with the clan leaders almost ceaselessly about war. He sighed tiredly, shaking his head, shuffling quietly out of the Clanmeet.
  19. I like the poisoned solution.
  20. ULTRAAAAAAAAAA COMBOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  21. Whoops. The chart is right, he's Chaotic Neutral right now. I'll run the round in the morning. If anyone wants to give Dyric an action in case Legonator doesn't show by then, that'd be good.
  22. Happy New Year.
