I heard that Lucas was looking to do some live action episodes of the Original Trilogy. Perhaps he wants to fill the gaps between the movies. George Lucas was quoted to saying there will be at least 100 episodes. If there were to be exactly 100 episodes, there is the possibility of Season 5 being shorter since 4 seasons multiplied by 21 episodes each is 88. Next time check your math.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
382nd Legionnaire replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why are you taking my comment personally? I didn't know there were too many fans of the CW faces. I thought everyone didn't like the CW heads. If you take a look at the January lineup, there are only 2 out of the 10 Lego sets that are Clone Wars associated. The rest are from the movies. Also The Clone Wars TV show, has scheduled only 100 episodes. Right now they've done around 75 some episodes. This means TLG is looking to transition to other eras like KOTOR or EU. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

I'm glad the ugly Clone Wars heads are slowly dying away. I wonder if we might get a Phase II Clone trooper battle pack in the near future. -
LOTR is kind of a violent franchise. I mean I loved the Vikings theme released in 2005-2006 but Lego pulled that line at the end of 2006. I was very disappointed with that but I can understand TLG's reasoning. Vikings were very violent raiders in the Middle Ages and TLG was portraying them in a positive light.

That's really well detailed. Good job, well done. It looks more of a chicken walker than the AT-ST does.

That's one gorgeous minifig. If I may ask where did you get the parts especially the hair and torso from?

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
382nd Legionnaire replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
wow the new one looks much sleeker. I was going to skip this one but I have readied it after your post. But to think Lego is running out of ideas for new ships. Take the Imperial V-Wing for example. That ship saw all of 3 seconds of air time in ROTS. But the ship saw action a lot in the Dark Horse comics. Newer fans might not be familiar with new ships if TLG decides to go into the EU era. A prime example is the Tie Crawler, which I remember didn't sell well and didn't last a year on the shelves. TLG probably wants to stick with the classics that everyone is familiar with rather than taking a risk into KOTOR or EU. -
This would have been great in the movie. George Lucas trolling the rebels.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Lego is really stepping up their game with the mini figures. If they had done this with sets with bad piece for price ratios, I would have kept my mouth shut. -

Hopefully the new sets will be out before the end of December if that's a possibility? -
Beginnings of a LEGO Train Mountain

Try to use colors that actually reflect the color of a mountain. If you have to use colored pieces, use them as your base where they cannot be seen. -

I absolutely love those engines. Keep up the good work. -
2 years are usually the average lifespan of a LSW product.

I really see not opening sets as wasteful in my opinion. I can't wait to crack open a new box of Legos. Only exception is if I receive a set I already have as a gift or something. Then I look to resell the set on ebay.

Almost 10 years ago. I found a $30 incomplete Cahdok and Gahdok set, the 2 Bohrok Queens, at KB Toys. It was an incomplete set but still, it was still available 2 years after the Bohrok line had ended. I'm really glad I got it for my birthday even though I really could have only built one of them. They run at least $100 now.

If you read any Dark Horse comics, they are in a lot of them that feature the transition from Republic to the Empire. -
What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
382nd Legionnaire replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just received a Shaak Ti minifigure that I bought. I didn't want to pay $60 for the T6 Shuttle since it didn't look great, but I didn't mind paying $15 for just Shaak Ti. She's absolutely gorgeous. -
The Evolution of Star Wars Minifigs
382nd Legionnaire replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm just really glad TLG switched over to flesh colors. I would like to see shoulder printing and I think that would be detailed enough for a minifig. -
Favourite New mini-figure For 2012

I would have to say the ARC trooper from the battle pack. -
The ship is an overall solid and sturdy build. The only complaint I have with it is its weak bow. If you apply a little too much pressure anywhere on the bow, it completely shatters. Nothing a little modding couldn't fix. I fixed it within an hour and now its quite strong even if i applied a lot of pressure on it.

Imperial Flagship was $25 off at my store. And I have all three and I have to say Imperial Flagship, such a monstrous set with lots of playability.

Has anyone ever compiled every Imperial set together?
382nd Legionnaire replied to Chief Justice Lego's topic in LEGO Pirates
Before I left for college, I was planning to buy 2 Imperial Flagships to add them together. I was hoping to add an additional deck to my ship and extend it a little bit. However, when college rolled around, I didn't have enough money for the second one so I kind of just gave up on it. -
