  1. Fantastic. This is the best mod/MOC of the U-Wing that I've encountered so far! I love the interior space; if only Lego's official set were as good as yours.
  2. That's amazing. The best part is that it falls within the category of this thread, too. Why do I need it?
  3. Nicely designed. Everything is downsized but instantly recognizable. This is everything a Lego set should be. I'd buy this in a heartbeat!
  4. Right, thanks. Yeah, given that the Ragnarok sets are not exclusives, we'd likely see them earlier.
  5. Not sure if this thread is the place to post mods... Anyway, when did we get our first pics of the Doctor Strange sets last year? So that it gives me an idea of roughly when the Ragnarok sets will hit.
  6. IIRC the glow appears behind every figure on all the boxes for the summer wave. The Quadjumper's has glows for Rey, Finn, BB-8 and the FO Stormie, even though they're all old figures.
  7. That's interesting - nice to see Lego acknowledge past seasons and give us minifigs from them. ToE was so long ago, I'd forgotten what Ash and Shade looked like!
  8. What is the battlepack based on, specifically? The latest swamp wave? Anyway, thanks for posting the summary by BZP. Disappointing to see that Garmadon's shark won't be getting a set yet, but I can't wait to see Lloyd's dragon!
  9. If 2016 is anything to go by, that would explain the fact that we're only getting 2 (albeit one large) sets for summer.
  10. Note that the writer is not a Ninjago fan, so he wouldn't be familiar with past sets. Just because he's impressed by Kai's mech doesn't mean that it's going to be as large or detailed as what the trailer showed us. In other words... I'm not gonna keep my hopes up, because I don't want to be disappointed.
  11. FBTB has confirmed that the Lego Ninjago Movie sets were displayed at NYTF. According to FBTB:
  12. There are still exclusives (like the rumoured Ep II JSF + hyperspace ring), other UCS sets, and TLJ sets that have yet to be revealed. But what we saw at Toy Fair is all we're getting for the regular-release summer sets.
  13. The Scout Trooper has some System builds for its waist pouches, and uses the CCBS shoulder armour piece on its back to emulate its backpack. Helps to set it apart from the regular CCBS builds. The Stormie is boring, however. But the helmet mould is gorgeous as expected.
  14. There are similarities and the Tracker I is clearly based off of the TIE Phantom, but it sounded like there was official confirmation that the Tracker I was indeed a TIE Phantom.
  15. The Tracker I is a TIE Phantom? Where did you see that information!
  16. Given that it's less likely we'll see Homecoming and Ragnarok sets, does the price range only reflect sets up till GotG2 (which would be referring to the Milano)? If the most expensive Homecoming/Ragnarok is $50 as well, that'll be good to hear for my wallet
  17. $130 for the largest JL set?! That's quite surprising... It's been a while we got such an expensive regular-release Superheroes set, eh.
  18. Lego has been known to print grill pieces before, especially if they have potential for reuse. So it's not too far out a possibility that the grills are printed.
  19. That's right. Doors don't open until roughly 21 hours after the time of this post. Just saw the UCS Snowspeeder - not my thing really, but it's nice to see a 'new' UCS after the past two rehashes we got! I'm interested to see more of its mechanics and the newer building mechanics (especially with angles and slopes) really help to bring out its shape accurately.
  20. The thing is, none of the stickers are supposed to be symmetrical and the stickers are supposed to add to the battle-damaged look of the ship, so it's okay to screw those up!
  21. I don't think we got prelims of TFA sets at all, right? I just remember seeing hi-res pictures drop out of nowhere sometime around August or September.
  22. The vehicles look absolutely astounding, although I highly doubt that we'd get 1:1 replicas of them as actual sets. It's more likely that we'll get scaled-down versions, like The Lego Movie's Sea Cow. Still, I'm excited to see the sets! Especially Lloyd's dragon and Garmadon's shark-thing.
  23. Thanks for the recap! It's been getting pretty confusing... Also, something we haven't seen before, huh. Perhaps it's something from TFA or TLJ?
  24. I love it! It's always nice to see some Chima-themed MOCs. Nice play on the crown using Ekimu's mask as well!
  25. The main characters are my bet - they're likely to get new costumes. Hopefully we get Rey without her headgear this time around. I'm also pretty sure we'll see some new versions of troopers. Otherwise, Flame Troopers perhaps? Although their build would be awfully boring...
