LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Aethersprite replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That'll do great. Thank you! It's about twice the size of an Eta-2. EDIT: Just saw the new pics - Vader's transformation looks great! A lot more substantial than the original. I'm afraid that it might be quite pricey, though. -

Does anyone here own the new Y-Wing? I'm curious as to its size; if possible, I'd really appreciate it if someone could do a comparison picture with, say, one of the recent Jedi starfighters to show the length of the new Y-Wing. -
review Review : 75121 Imperial Death Trooper
Aethersprite replied to Leewan's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Seeing Rogue One for a second time, I noticed that the Death Troopers do have pretty lanky legs. Thus while I still feel that the legs on this figure are a little long, its proportions aren't completely inaccurate.- 22 replies

I'm not familiar with the Freemaker Adventures - have the Arrowhead and the TIE Defender lookalike appeared in the series yet, or are they part of a second season? -

Does anyone own the Thanos Mighty Micro? Is the minifig a regular Lego blue, or a lighter blue?- 5,808 replies

review Review : 75121 Imperial Death Trooper
Aethersprite replied to Leewan's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I think the problem with the legs isn't that they're too long, but rather that they're too thin. It makes the figure look especially lanky. This isn't a problem with the set design, it's a corollary of the CCBS. Thanks for the review, by the way! Are you going to review the rest?- 22 replies

Review | LEGO 75170 Star Wars ● THE PHANTOM
Aethersprite replied to Brick Ministry's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I see. By far my greatest disappointment with this set is its lack of interior space (not counting the cockpit). The back seems large enough to accommodate minifigs, but the design had to use up space for the trigger mechanism for the spring-loaded shooters. -

How large is the interior space? Can it fit a minifig? -

Opinion time!! Darth Vader transformation: MUST GET. 3 rare figs in one set, and probably very displayable. I can finally get Palpatine! Quadjumper: I’ll be honest – I’m not a fan of most of the new TFA ships, but the Quadjumper is one of the rare ones that caught my eye. Pity that it got blown up but it’s getting a set at least! Plus, if the minifig line-up turns out to be true (Finn, Rey, BB-8, FO Stormie), it’s the perfect set to get most of the main cast of TFA (sans Kylo). As someone who has yet to own a single TFA set, this is great! JSF with hyperdrive ring: I would rather get an Eta-2, but the Delta-7’s ring is the only one seen in the movies. Plus, Obi-Wan’s Delta-7 is due for a remake. I really want this, but I’ll have to see if I have space! Republic Fighter Tank: This is quite random. Aayla, and a Clone Commander? I’ll have to see pics first, but this looks promising! -

I'm building Krennic's shuttle right now, and boy, its wings are LONG. Very impressive! It might have one of the largest wingspans of any Lego vehicle ever. -

Aethersprite replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Agreed. Lego could've thrown in another minifig at that price, like Season 3 Ezra or something. Or at least another Stormtrooper. Well, I guess you win some, you lose some... If only every set was priced as reasonably as the Y-Wing. -

Aethersprite replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wait, the Phantom is $40?! Did I miss something? That's ridiculous - I'd expect it to be $30. And to think that you can get the Y-Wing for $60. Lego knows that between Thrawn and blind Kanan, the Phantom is gonna sell like hotcakes nonetheless. What a ripoff! -

I'll probably get the set and try to sell off Detroit Steel. I can't edit my previous post for some reason - ignore first comment. I realized I posted in the wrong thread, oops.- 5,808 replies

Am I missing something? Do we have price confirmation on the Phantom? I'd assume it was US$30. -

[VIDEO REVIEW] Star Wars 75172 Y-Wing Starfighter

How did you get this so early? Thanks for the sneak peek nonetheless! I can't wait to get this set. The bomb-dropping feature is nice. -

They really went all-out with the Shoretrooper. The amount of different colours on its arms is astounding. A definite must-buy! Chirrut and Baze look creepy as usual, but they seem to have some unique build techniques employed. I'm curious to see more! These are releasing in January 2017, right? -

Aethersprite replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well... There are specialists within the specialists. The Death Troopers from Krennic's shuttle are higher-ranked/more elite and have the shoulder pauldrons and the ammo pouches printed on their armour. Then there are 'normal' Death Troopers, without all the fancy accessories. The ones in the BP are the latter version. -

Thanks for the info, Delta! Any info on what the Thor ship looks like? Something like this (from Thor 2), perhaps? These new sets sound extremely promising. It's the first time we're getting Thor-based sets, I can't wait!- 5,808 replies

@Japanbuilder thanks for the reference pictures! If you compare the pictures you took with the official images we just got: The side vents on the helmets are definitely grey, not blue. It's a minor nitpick and to be honest I can live with it since I'm not an army builder, but I know of many people who probably aren't... -

Hmm. What's the problem with the Raid Zeppelin that you're referring to? The Destiny's Shadow is the only set that caught my eye this wave; very interesting-looking and unique vehicle IMO. I'm curious as to what 'problems' it might have! -

I'm not talking about the front "upside-down V" vent. It's the vents on the left and right sides of the helmet. Well, this is just based off the pictures we already have, which aren't HD. Until we see hi-res official pictures, or in-hand photos, we wouldn't know for sure. -

I pointed out the difference earlier in this thread: The new 2017 OT Stormie's side vents are slightly greyer/blacker, while the most recent OT Stormie had distinctly blue side vents. The rest of the design is identical, though.
