6597 was my choice as well.I beilive it has most of the fuctions of a real airport and looks bigger than all the rest. The first airport is sweet and we all love it cause the child inside of us loves it but if lego was to make smth like that today im not so sure we would like it as much. The airport of 2006 is deffinetly out of scale the way i look at it..Sure the old planes were to small maby and they could only carry about 6 minifigs but thats how legoland is..!! The reason the new airport dosent have a runway is because they would need about 6 baseplates to fit that huge plane!..so its all about cost...I wonder how is the new airport selling to kids..Do we have any info about that?

Playmobil has always had a broader range of products that appeal to both girls and boys .. This company seems to have not been affected by computer games..They havent done anything like bionicle ( :-X ) or bought any license..Its like playmo its the toy that tells us what all toys could look like if pc games never entered our lifes!They have no discusting monsters and no ungry faces ..most of their minifigs are still smiling while lego cry get ungry have criminals and get greyer by the second! The playmo city dosent need to be all gray with ten police stations like the lego one... I just cant figure out how two companies that started at about the same time took such different paths ...And then i wonder about the playmo age group and thow it seems to be the same like lego i have never heard of an AFOP!! i beilive lego is more addictive and creative than playmo and gives you more possibilities..im just confused about the whole matter... Oh and speaking of historical Greek-Roman themes i found this on brickshelf http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1850630 and i wonder..where did these accesories came from? Great minifigs IMO Lego could create an ancient Greece theme...with monsters and wars and ships and catapults and temples and legions and the wonders of the world and the 12 Gods and....i must be dreaming |-/

well i just got out of my dark ages a year ago and have been spending like crazy this year! i fear to count the money!! im sure each year will hold 3-4-5 good sets for me to keep up with my hobby and even if TLC does crap there are still lots of old sets i would love to get.. so no i hope this isnt dark ages for me.. *skull* IM ADDICTED TO THE BRICKS!!!!!!!!!!! *skull* but no i havent been moking like when i was a kid...im more like build ..look..display...be happy...and thats how it goes.. i have never watched Avatar in my life..has to be a nice cartoon (i did a little search on the net) *sad* so i dont know how this ship is supposed to look..if you have a picture please post.. :-) Now about the set.I loved it the minute i saw it! and now i love it even more! so much detail great design and basic building!! It gives me the feeling of a ship of the 1900s and it would be great if TLC would produce a line from that era! I would love to get this ship but as i said i dont know what the show is all about so i would just be a crazy man with a pointless ship! X-D I just cant get over how detailed the interior is... 8-

i too voted for 6380. I remember seing this set at a toy store when i was 7 but i didnt get it :-( i got a castle insted.. ;-) so a few days ago i found one on ebay and i just had to have it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lego-Town-Hospital-6...1QQcmdZViewItem it hasnt arrived yet but i cant wait to add it to my town! as for the latest hospital its just a shame! but it is designed for boys that go ShWOOS with their helicopters and cars...and not for as. the dacta one has the best parts and its ment for playing with lego the way i used to when i was a kid..build create rooms and situations with characters and not just bang a couple of cars together... (those computer games have destroyed lego as we knew them if you ask me..but thats another story) and may i sugest a "favorite airport" poll?
