the sleigh of the empire! santa is coming to death-star!!

this is the last under-water base from a kind of a similar theme which one do you think is better? i like this old baseplate but i think the structure looks more like ruins than an actuall base!! here is another under-water base from 1998 i really hate that green! works great for space but not for the sea!!

my first few sets where fabuland! this i think was the first. i still have a few parts and the baseplate! my first system set as i remember it is this one i have this build on my library! the shields are worn out and i lost a couple of pieces but its still alive and well!!

i am not sure if these have been posted here before... but i just love them!they show what lego is all about (or better say,what it used to be about) and yet they are so simple! *wub*

this is trully amazing! i was browsing on brickshelf earlier and i saw your moc! i especially like the ship! lego never gave as a ship from this time and age at this size... hope they some day will... i like how the castle comes out of the sant! very good work!

airplane-something totaly new! finally some space in the plane! arkham-a very nice building you can even use it in your city! and great figs! sail barge-a star wars legend finally in lego! oh and i just wanted to ask why you didnt include the police-boat! that was very nice oh and the batmobile with two-face!

great idea this remaking of old sets on lego factory! and may i say nicely done! the train station probaply costs that much because of the bricks used for the base... too bad not all the bricks are availiable... and this reminds me to ask:Why arent there any basic yellow bricks on the factory??

i read an interview of a lego vikings designer and he said that the beards were taken of because they thought that the kids wouldnt relate to a viking with beards cause they would feel he was old

thats a great idea!!that would have been amazing! i really wonder what the prototypes for classic space looked like :-$ to bad there was no internet back then so it would have been really hard to find and share the pictures! i cant get enough of these finds! *wub* hope we can dick up some more!!!

and this is a pre-production image of the 8416 technic fork lift set finally this set ended being black and i think this looks a lot better than the prototype..

preliminary design on a couple of creator sets.. although in these cases its mostly the box art that changes and not the actuall set... still i find lego product design very intresting!!! thanx for sharing your finds with the rest of us!! now all we need is an actuall lego designer to send us his/hers designs!! ;-) ;-)

havent you ever wondered how the lego sets got to look the way they do? what happens at the drawing board? how do the first drafts look? i have found a few of them mostly at brickshelf and here they are the city crane prototype the 4402 sea riders creator set first draft looked like this and the final one is as we all know this the viking fortress 7019 looked like this terrible isnt it? harry potter grave-yard duel looked like this and here are some designs on how certain minifigs were created the monster the vampire the werewolf and a couple about the vikings if you have found any preliminary design yourself please share as i find this to be very intresting!!

is that silvery thing at the back of the hatch of the car a sticker? :-/ im so IN LOVE with this small set! *wub* you are right this is just a simple set but that is part of its greatness!! ;-) i dont remember another lego car with a back hatch that opens and closes... 8-| you are right about the minifig...seen it SO many times before..there is nothing special here *sad*

is the fish a new blue color??looks great! the rock seems rather pointless for this set they could have added other cool elements like another tiny sub or a smaller fish
