i have to say playmobil! they have had a pirate theme since the 80s and its still up an alive!! like most modern playmo the sets are full of details and great quality *y*

you are right! i mean if i calculate the prices of these sets i dont get how much money people have! it just seems a bit over the top to me... even when i was a kid i got ONE lego set (and clothes and money) but some of you got like 5 sets! thats just spoilling your kid i guess... :-/

i got money from my parents as i am 27 and they kind of refuse to buy me any lego them selfs (thow they are ok with my hobby) my family puts stuff under the tree for new-years.. thats how we've always done it its kind of an orthodox tradition i guess

well in my opinion that is one of the worst lego sets of all time!! *alien* this design is what brought TLC to have financial problems! its not even a space base its a few docks thrown together in a box! *wacko* and it shouldnt cost much..there arent that many parts in there... it just looks big...and flimpsy! |-/ the way TLC is going this year i dont think we will see anything like this! city is great *wub* castle is getting better *y* so why should the return of space suck? :-/ (i've got my hopes set high) ;-)

(even if it never comes to greece im gonna have to go ebay-ing but thats ok) the pros: .great pictures .great colors! .the old style feeling! .the every day life (garbage truck) .the old logos (octan,cargo) .finally a port! .great car at the gus station .flowers at the gus station the cons .one big piece for the ship .a bit <insert that tiresome argument> gus station (big pieces) .still *no women* in this city!not even at the gus station driving that cute car! .all grey baseplate for the station/no green! 2007 has been good to the lego city.. now i wish for >a post office >a motorbike shop >a garage >a reaustorant >a new train station >a bus station >an office building >a new town house lets wait till june.....and lets save some money

i havent bought anything castle for 13 years and this just may be the year i will expand my topic interests! just looking at that picture makes me want to buy them! skeleton horses!!!GREAT!!! i keep on thinking how it would be if we got these sets when we were kids... back when the knights where always smiling and there weren't any skeletons... are these sets ok for the children of today? seems like unhappy and ungry faces are all children play with these days.. and then i think about playmobil... happy faces in battle selling very well so is this just TLC choice to go violent and ungry and sceary? when did children stop going "bang bang" and started going "you are dead i cut your head of" anyhow...thats just me and my ongoing thinking.... the sets rock...but hey im 27... why do these sets rock if you are 7? should THESE toys rock if you are 7 or should you build a lego house?

well i dont want to put everybodys hopes down but i dont think we will see the port or the gus station in this catalog! i know we are waiting for about 12 city pages but we have already seen 6 of them and 4 are with old stuff.. so i think the next 2 could be RC trains the other 2 will be with the crane and other construction stuff and there just isnt enough space to introduce new stuff! :'-( maby we would get a preview like what they did with the police boat... :-/ but im not hoping for anything more here..

i wanted to put a white minifig holding a spear but the factory dosent have those elements! so behind the columns is a solid structure with an opening infront for a door... inside there is just an altar with a brick for a train that looks like smoke is coming out..!
