Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Eleven
Captain Genaro replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I would like to answer both questions. I don't think that having one book on the Pacific war makes me a kamikaze. I would like to translate the titles of the books. -

Well, I'm back and I just wanted to say thanks for not having too much fun without me! -

I don't think it's a good idea to start up the engines when there is clearly some damage to them. The last thing we need is another explosion that could get someone killed or worse... the ship sunk. I would like to go to the engine room, look over the damage and make sure there are no leaks. -

I would like to remind everyone that none of this is your property so lets not destroy anything. I hate to sound mean but I don't think the Captain would like to see the cargo he has been entrusted with destroyed. I would like to board the Lakota -

I would like to urge everyone to be very careful. Someone blew up the engines and I don't know if that damaged any of the ship's struture. Also, there are heavy crates everywhere and I don't know if the blast damaged any of the cables holding the crates. -

I find it odd that a man who has almost been killed could get up on his own. How do we know someone did not help him? Also, why was he at the docks? Ah, so many questions. Was the doctor bleeding or did the blood on the ground drip from the knife? What is the knife used for/ what type of knife does the doctor have? -

Do all the pieces we found seem to be the same ( paper, ink, ect.)? -

That note is part of the letter. Was the note torn or cut into the different pieces? -

This is really odd. We know that it must be important since the doctor was killed and the communists wanted to have it. Afterall, the dead commie did have the letter "O" on him. I would like to know what the strip of paper under section "O" said. I would like to see what kind of bullets the gun uses and if there are any special marks/features. -

I would like to see how the typewriter was destroyed. Did someone hit it with something or throw it on the ground? Next, I would like to follow the footprints. -

I would like to go back inside the hospital and see what caused the loud noise at the end of the last chapter. -
Sorry for the doubble post but it's time for an update! Overview of the ship. As you can see, I tried to make the second half of the main mast smaller but right now, I think it looks too skinny and weak. Help on that part would be greatly appreciated. Capstan with two bow chasers. I plan to make brick-built chasers but I did not have the time right now. Yes, the top deck can come off. More pictures here when moderated.

Thank you for all the advice. I really appreciate it and I hope to see more of it comming as I make more mistakes . 1)I will use string for the rigging but I have not got around to planing that far yet. 2)I have centered the foremast more but I also think that this means I will need to move the mainmast (name?) back a little more so it looks better. Should I use this piece for the second part of the mast? Also, I will re-build the stern but it might be hard since I would like three windows in the back. It might be hard to see but the whole deck is modular. The railings are not connected to the sides. I can take better pictures if you would like. Don't worry about the railings, I will fix those. I will make the hole" bigger but I have to be careful not to make the deck too weak. I have only got to see models on the internet since I don't own any but thank you for the kind words anyways. I don't think I made this clear but it does not have to be too accurate. I am aiming for a ship that I think looks nice and is modular over a historical model.

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Ten

Goodness another body! I can't believe this! I think that Mrs. Jefferson might have had someone else in her life who loved her besides her husband. She wasn't part of Project Wolf and there is a locket... I would like to see if the locket has the same amount of rust as the bike to determine how long it has been outside for. Next, who lives close to the area? -
I really like this ship. The colors and the deck looks great! I never realized how tall the masts on a ship are untill I saw your ship and Perfectionists' ! I look forward to the next update!

I finally got my Bricklink order with the pieces for the masts and some plates for the deck. I have not put the yards (is that what they're called?) on yet because I have been experementing with the different mast designs.

Well, at least we know who was writing all these notes. I vote that we continue to search the hills and then search the lighthouse. Also, are you still evacuating project wolf with the national guard blockade? -

Don't worry, the commies can't get out. We have a wonderful national guard blockade destorying our libertys to insure that no one gets out unless the general wants them arrested. Mabey I'm a little slow but if this is such a huge problem, why didn't your beloved general radio the Lakota to stay clear? Also, I would rather trust this guy than a power crazed general; I've had enough with those. -

Jam a rock down the barrel so that it can't fire, break the trigger off, I don't think it would be that hard. Also, I understand how you all feel about the general but I think we should be quiet. He has a lot of power and I don't think he would take it well if we offended him. -

Right now, I think it would be safest to unload the gun and try to destroy it. I would like to see if the bullet that killed Howard matches the ones used to kill any of the townies. -

I believe we came here in the thirtys and I joined the Lakota after the war. I never got the chance to learn how to write since I had to work at the docks or farming to earn some money. The captain and his wife tried to teach me a little but I was never a great student. -

Look, if I shot him, he would not have fallen into my arms. I was standing beside him so he would have fallen away from me. How can I copy the note when I don't even know how to write your letters? Everyone is bringing up a point. If you want to argue with me, lets do it while we head off to the next target. -

I understand but you must realise that you never asked my for any of my personal information. You must also know that I could not be one of the killers since I was standing by the captain when the killing happened. I already explaned my name. Does anyone think that the money was from a long time ago and it's just being moved now? Mabey there is some corruption going on instead of flat out communism.
