Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Eight
Captain Genaro replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I would like to look at the books to see if any of them have any bookmarks. I would also like to see if any of the books have dust on them and if some don't to indicate if any have been read recently. Finally, I would like to ask if anyone was an avid reader. -

I would like to look for any signs of recent activity, newspapers, unclean dishes, slept in beds ect. I would like to recall if the firestation was circled on the map. -

I don't know about you but I would like to take another look at the tunnels. Something is down there and I would like to know what it is. Mabey our "friend" droped something down there any ways. Also, does anyone find it odd that we find a crate with USSR written on it then a national guard truck is blown up by a crate? Just wondering if anyone has any insight. Finally, was the cheif a commie? Have you heard anything senator? -

"Sonny" over there also fought in the same war! How about we all show the captain some respect! He sailed his ship into your port so that your little town might have some commerce and trade. Also, it's not a "boat" the Lakota is a Ship. I would like to step infront of the captain and defend him if anyone tries to kick his wooden leg. -

That's not a bad guess. Perhaps something very important was supost to be inside the box but someone made a mistake. Something very important would have to be in the town for someone to be that desperate. Unvote: Stevie Jefferson Vote: Delores Jefferson / def Those were some very convincing arguments and we do know that something very odd is happening with the Jeffersons. -

I say you watch the way you talk to the captain! He is not a cracked pot! Why would you even call someone a cracked pot? Strange... It seems to me that some of the long standing members are not on-board since the commie problem started before we showed up! Vote: Stevie Jefferson, I have to stand by my captain and, frankly, I don't have a better idea. -

What a night! It's a shame we have no idea who the two people docks are. Now I wonder if Officer Harrison was sloopy and left his badge on a crate for a "friend" or if he is being framed. Do you think that it is possible that a commie already got what ever was in the crate? Does anyone have any leads? -

Well Mayor, when I said it's rather strange to write letters in invisable ink ( Mr. Jefferson said that the note in the fire might be a letter) Mr. Jefferson replyed that he found the note on the dead commie. I thought that he was refering to the note in the fire, not the one found this morning. Does this make sence? -

Oh! So notes found on commies should be stuck in the fire? Should we put all our evidence in the fire? I would like to know if the windows have large trees by them that you could clime up and down. Also, I would like to know if the windows are locked and if they are large enough for a person to pass through. -

You do realise that it is rather strange to write letters in invisible ink Mr. Jefferson. I would like to know how big the remaining piece of paper that we found is to determine how much was burnt. I would like to know if any of the notebooks we found are 9 x 11. Next, I would like to hurry up stairs. -

Thank you for the water Mrs. Jefferson. Do you happen to have any tea to go with it? I seem to have left mine on the ship. I would like to look behind any paintings that I see. (not the wall, the back of the frame) Next, I would like to know if any ghost stories or legends surround the Jeffersons house. Finally, I would like to stay away from Stevie when rocks are with in arms reach. -

You have a nice house here Mr. Jefferson. Did you build the house or did it have a previous owner? Perhaps the previous owner left something that they did not want seen. I would like to know if the house has 1 or 2 levels. I would also like to ask everyone if there is a plan for the house in the town hall. Has the house had any major renovations since it's construction? Finally, I would like to suggust that everyone avoid climing onto the roof or trees and killing themselfs. The communists are plenty good at killing us. We don't need to help them any more. -

I think that a gun shot would have been too obvious. If everyone is telling the truth, I doubt that they could have gotten far enough away so a gun shot would not be heard and then back to town in ten minuets. I think that Mrs. Jefferson heard something she was not suppose to hear, someone lit a small fire, Mrs. Jefferson was stabbed, wound was covered up, carried through the fire station, droped off the roof, body taken from the morgue and droped in the harbor. I think she had to have been stabbed since there was blood but no gun shots were heard. I find it hard to believe that a quality police report would leave out the bloody rope at the top of the department store, or is it normal for buildings without roof access to have bloody ropes on them! I would like to know if any current government workers were employed when the murder happened. Next, I would like to know if any previous government workers have been arrested for corruption or communism since the murder and what there position was. Finally, I would like to go to the Jefferson's house. -

I did not mean that day exactally, I just ment in general. But a small fire would empty the fire station and not arrouse a huge investigation. -

I say stay on the ground so you don't fall but who listens to a deckhand. I am deeply sorry for you Captain, life sure is harsh at times. Unless there was a fire. So, that seems to lead me to think that a current or ex-government worker stole the body. Also, a fall from a roof should not leave dried blood on a rope. That might help explane why her body went missing. I would like to know about how busy the department store got arround lunch or if it closed for lunch. -

Didn't we prove it was possible that she could get up there when we found out that she could have gotton over there through the fire station? I compleatly forgot that the body disappeared! That would explane no coroners report! Also, what you say makes sence but at the same time why not throw her into the ocean? Then you don't have to risk the whole police report and the body is gone. It could be that they took the body because she had something on her when she died ( note, pictues, ect.) and they did not want us to find that. Finally, as much as I want to help the Jefferson family solve this, we know that there is roof access and that the Jefferson family house has been marked. Since Mrs. Jefferson lived there, I bet we could find clues about her life there, such as a diary or notes stored away. I would like to know who could access the morgue, and if anyone in our group used to work there or visited it frequently. -

I don't think there is anything up there. It has been 5 years and a town on the coast gets hammered with heavy wind and rain so I doubt that anything of importance would survive up there. There is no recent information pointing to the roof and I think that the Jefferson house could hold more clues. Besides, what if some one "accidentaly" fell off the roof again? We know there is a communist here and I don't feel like standing on a roof with him. I would like to say on the ground so a communist won't push me off. I would also like to know what time the body was found so that we could get a sence of when Mrs. Jefferson was killed. Finally, were there any fires or reasons that the fire station would be empty on the day Mrs. Jefferson died? -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Six
Captain Genaro replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So the way I see it, Mrs. Jefferson went into the fire station, climed to the roof, went over to the department store roof and was pushed off. She either climed up on her own or was nocked out and was dragged up. Does this sound right to everyone? I still think that something was very wrong with the police report, it is missing so much like how she got onto the roof, why she was on the roof, and a coroners report. I don't know about the rest of you but I agree with the chief and think that our work here is done. I vote that we go to the Jefferson's house. -
That looks compleatly insane! I had no idea you made jerseys for your soccer-figs, and they look great! What teams are playing?

Wait, fresh blood stains in a hotel! What kind of town do you people run here. What time of day was the body found and was it in the street or behind the store? I would like to ask everyone if Mrs. Jefferson was acting different before she died, doing anything out of the ordinary, acting strange, ect. Also, I would like to ask everyone if they saw Mrs. Jefferson enter the firehouse before she died or if she could enter the firehouse unnoticed. -

Wouldn't a ladder get some attenetion? I mean, if you see some lady put up a three story ladder and start to clime it, wouldn't you ask questions? I'm also starting to sence a bit of a cover-up. Someone falls from a building with no roof access and the report says it was accidental? I wonder if the communists have infiltrated the government already. The only way that she would have been on the roof was if she was druged or went up on her own. I see no reason for her to be on the roof so I think that she was druged or nocked out when she was on the roof. How else would some one drag a person up three storys and throw them off without causing a scene? I would like to know if there is an ally on the back of the department store and if the hotel was renovating when the "accident" occured. -
Thanks for a great game Zepher and for giving me a roll! I really did not have a whole lot to start with so I tried to stay quiet and not draw attention to myself. I survived to day 10 so I think my plan worked . I hope I played my roll well. And on a side note, the vests WERE illegal so you can stop thinking that I am insane now.

National guard troops sent in! You guys really take communists seriously! No roof access in the department store. So how does anyone get on the roof? A really tall ladder would draw some attention. Would it be possible that Mrs. Jefferson was on another roof before she was taken to the roof of the department building? Was the store or any neighboring buildings undergoing renovations when Mrs. Jefferson died? Do any of the neighboring buildings have fire escapes or roof access? -

Hmm, it is dated from 1930, that is when your depresion started right? I too would like to know what happened to Mayor Lance Freestron. I don't think that this is related to the communists in any way since there are no recent prints but I would like to ask the mayor or congressman to take the money to a safe. Finally, are there any windows? -

If it's okay, I would like to come up there. I would like to look in the cabinets and nock on all the draws and sides to see if they are hollow. Also, if it is dusty I would like to look for footprints and handprints.
