  1. Thanks for the lovely comment! I had rather more than four pieces left over:
  2. I think this would be happier in the Train Forum.
  3. Thanks for your patience. Indexing almost 180 entries is taking a long time. I estimate 24-48 hours for the voting thread to be ready.
  4. It's going to take some time to index all these wonderful entries ... I'll get the voting thread up as soon as possible; might be a day or two yet. Thanks for your patience!
  5. Thanks for the lovely review Cloney! I have to disagree here - it looks like the designer has achieved a half plate offset in the SNOT sides of that building, something I don't think I've ever seen before in an official LEGO set, and an imaginitive way to reproduce that unusual deign feature. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this to see how it's done!

  9. Hi legomania94, As Jim says, please don't start a new topic for every minor question - use the existing threads provided. I appreciate that English isn't your first language, and thank you for trying; however, you'll need to explain your question much better if you want to get any meaningful answers. Thank you! I will lock this and the other similar thread. I would suggest reposting your question in one of the threads Jim has suggested, but do please be as clear as you can.
  10. I don't think you need his permission, provided yours isn't a direct copy, which we can't judge unless you post it ... so I say go for it.
  11. Five separate posts = five separate entries.
  12. Agreed. I love to see brick separators as MOC parts. Reminder One entry per post please! You can enter as many times as you like, but only one picture per post will be indexed and therefore eligible for voting.
  13. Comments on entries in the comments thread please! I will move any that appear here. What if it is posted on FBTB first? I think we will allow entries in both competitions, but I don't think we will allow the same entry to win first prize in both contests (though that scenario is probably unlikely as FBTB's contest is - I believe - limited to Star Wars).
  14. Difficult to say without knowing exactly what you have in mind. If it is essential to the vehicle it might be ok; have a look at the current entries to see what others have done (all are valid so far). If in doubt, provide at least one picture of the vehicle on a neutral background which we can use for the voting thread. Please note Currently it appears Brickshelf is down, and some of your pictures therefore aren't showing. I'd recommend using an alternative image hosting service - if your pictures aren't visible when I make the voting thread, they won't be included.
  15. I've bolded one of the objections. But this is a discussion for another day. If you like. But why not get the bricks, and build it for real?
  16. Eurobricks in collaboration with The LEGO Group is proud to present a new Direct to Consumer (D2C) Building Contest: Pimp My Camper! Read all about it in the Special Themes Forum!
  17. Eurobricks in collaboration with The LEGO Group is proud to present a new Direct to Consumer (D2C) Building Contest: Pimp My Camper! The idea is this: take the LEGO VW Mini-Camper and customise it! Create a theme version from any LEGO Theme - Star Wars, Friends, Pirates, Castle ... whatever takes your fancy! Make a Steampunk version, or a futuristic Sci-Fi camper! Give it legs or wings instead of wheels! Keep it firmly down to earth as a Town version, but just soup it up! The possibilities are endless. All we ask is that you keep the basic dimensions the same: the body must be no larger than the original (10 studs by 4 studs; height 13 plates) but reasonable overhang and appendages will be allowed; and the body must be recognisable as a VW Camper. Only LEGO elements may be used, but custom decals are permitted. You do NOT need to own the official LEGO version to build this. The instructions for the VW Mini-Camper are available to download and attached to the first post of the Discussion Thread. The Prizes (kindly provided by The LEGO Affiliate Programme) First Prize 10220 VW Camper + 40079 Mini VW Camper Four Runners-Up Prizes 40079 Mini VW Camper Please use this thread for comments on the contest entries in the Entry Thread. Please be friendly and constructive. Discussion Thread Entry Thread

  20. I will merge this into the CMF Sightings & Availability thread.
  21. I agree that's a nice mod, but I'm pretty sure those tiles are angled via illegal connections.
  22. Love those sunflowers! Let's see ... there's a wizard (History) and an alien spaceship (Sci-Fi) ... but there are CMF aliens, which fit in nicely here. Here is fine!
  23. Wow, some fantastic landscaping there. I'll be following this thread with interest! Judging by the looks of the concept drawing, I think this MOC might fit best in the History Forum ('Vampire' theme notwithstanding), but I'll wait for now to see how it progresses. Let me know if you have strong feelings on the matter.
