To my embarrassment, when I started reading this, I read it manga style . However, once I read it the right way, the story flowed nicely, and I love all the homages to Final Fantasy. Great work Sandy!

Awesome review Bricknave. When I first saw pictures of this set, I didn't realise it transformed as well. The Sphinx is gorgeous enough by itself, but to make it come to life as well??? Kyaah, that's just too awesome. Can't wait for its release

Great review White Fang. No offence to your review or new-found love of trains, but I don't really find this set compelling, not when the other sets are so good. The HP sets just turned up in our Big W, and I just couldn't resist buying the Burrow. Plus the train reminds me of the whole "platform 9 and 3/4", which bugs the crap out of me. Still, it's undeniable that Lego are doing a great jobs with these sets, to the point where the Walrus and I, both distinctly apathetic towards Harry Potter, have been excited about them coming out. Mutter mutter mutter...

Oh my, that's almost life-sized. Shame we don't get any cool displays like that in Australia...

Awesome MOC Nuju Metru, simply awesome. Ordering those 300 plus trans cheese slopes really paid off, the stained windows are gorgeous, and I love how they're so long and narrow, just like a real cathedral. Top stuff!!

Great review KristofBD. I completely agree with your point about the exterior, it looks like concrete, not very friendly or hut-like. Still, there are some stunning pieces, and I love the new owl. Fingers crossed that the Australian price isn't too unreasonable...
