  1. Lovely piece of work so far. I admired both exterior and the detailed interiour with all tiles as "LT" already mentioned. It'll be very exciting to see more of this project as you progress further.
  2. Really nice build Carl ! What is the partnumber for those brown tubes used for "X-design".
  3. I already displayed this MOC, a T44 locomotive, on the forum before, but today I took a new photo that I just wanted to share with you trainheads
  4. This is a classical Swedish Volvo F88 truck from late 60:s, with colours and decals from transport company ASG. In Sweden trucks are allowed to be totally 24meters long, and my MOC is around 30% longer than my semitrailers, so it's more or less to scale compared to those. Volvo grille is inspired by other work I have seen before somewhere....(sorry guys, but don't remember who to give credit for that ).... I created a little warehouse environment for the shooting. Here's an original Volvo F88 as comparaison. Any comments are welcome.
  5. Agree, it should by 5 vents on the side as the original prototype has, but I wanted to limit the overall lenght. My version is approx 32 studs long, so Klodsfest version must be approx 36studs.....
  6. When browsing some of the recent posts, I noticed that a member of Danish Byggepladen has made a BR 103 locomotive very similar to my design. It was apparantly displayed recently during Klodsfest 2010. It was so nice to see someone appreciating my MOC Except, I think the Danish builder made a design better looking than mine
  7. Great layout ! And your wife seems to be equally interested, that's amazing
  8. I think you have achieved a nice design for this hopper. Nice colourscheme ! It looks realistic to me.
  9. Lego locomotive designs by James Mathis actually got me back to this hobby again after my dark ages..... I made this DB class 111 a few years ago, and the last days I changed the colour scheme to be near those in James original design. As a small tribute to a great lego train designer. (I only wish Lego could release new sets similar to the Santa Fé series locomotive and wagons.) Above, my modest attempt. Above original design by James Mathis, from his Brickshelf library. And last a shot of the locomotive IRL.
  10. Here is my latest 6-wide truck, a german MAN truck. It's not really meant to be a certain model, I rather tried to copy what's typical for their design. (hope it's recognizable) Up in Scandinavia we see a lot of those trucks. The load consists of three truck cabs with original design by P Normandin. I am in the multiple-mood right now. ( with reference to my Smart's... ) All comments are welcome.
  11. Yeah...you know how it is...when you start tasting SMART:IES you just can't stop can you ?
  12. Thanks ACCURATEin ! No, I didn't build that Smart dealership thing. Though, I had an idea about using my Smarts for making a Lego Smart car brochure, like those you get for real cars... What do you think about that ? Lime.... ??? You mean the yellow car or...?
  13. Thanks, prateek !! I've got 7 Scanias. All in different basic colours and in various versions, as semi-trailer trucks, cement truck, milk tanker truck, and two are lorries with platform. thanks dr Spock. For this trailer I used rear wheels 6 x 30155 "Wheel Spoked 2 x 2 with Pin Hole".
  14. A 6-wide Scania semitrailer. I've used this cab design a couple of times now. All-in-all one of those vehicules you pass a zillion times on the motorway each day, without paying any attention. Anyhow, this is how they look Comments are welcome.
  15. We look forward to see more of your excellent MOC:s here !! I have, easy available in my back-pack (for work), a copy of the railbrick interview with you, so that I can admire the beautiful realistic scenaries, and rolling stock that you have accomplished - really very very well done.
  16. Yeah...why not, it is a good idea... I got tons of trucks and semi-trailers, but I never built such car transport trailer.
  17. Great idea I love both Tintin and Lego, so what a great way to combine those interests. I'd love to see more of this kind of creations.
  18. I didn't pay that much attention to colours of stearing wheels, so what you see is more or less a random mix.
  19. This is indeed a clever design ! I am gonna print and save this proposal for a rainy day Well done, Gambort.
  20. Thanks ! Yes, this type of green mudguard does not exist. Apart from that I could build also a green
  21. Considering the original design and parts from 3177, I checked availability of key elements and the below palette represents all possible colours. Which is your favorite colour ? Comments are welcome.
  22. Very nice NOC. Your building really got that factory feeling. Nice colourscheme as well, perfectly suited for such building.
  23. I agree next time I'll try to make the snow look more Lego:ish
  24. After heavy snowing the last days in Newtiles region an avalanche buried parts of the main road leading to Bracketslope. A Volvo front loader is clearing up the mess......while people impatiently queuing..... Front loader and truck cab designs inspired by P Normandin. Comments welcome.
  25. Many nice details on this MOC, well done !
