  1. OOC: Well now that that's clarified... Throlar follows Matthias plan.
  2. OOC: Because I have absolutely no idea what's going on, that's why.
  3. OOC; Oh for goodness... Throlar unties Medusa.
  4. Throlar does the same, he wasn't in much of a mood for talking right now.
  5. Failure, Throlar fears failing more than anything else, letting others down and, more importantly, failing to live up to his own impossibly high standards. This is exacerbated by the fact that he considers his entire life to be one long string of failures.
  6. "Gentlemen, you want a Bonaparte? You have one." said Throlar with a nasty little smirk.
  7. "I am the Titaanian ambassador, is that good enough for you?"
  8. "Thank you for your help sir, it was much appreciated." Throlar turned to his companions. "Well," He said, "Our work here is done, to the ship!"
  9. "Yes," said Throlar in a diplomatic tone, "We are well aware of that. But this orc we're looking for is a friend of ours and we're very worried about her, so we may be acting a little irrationally. I apologize for that. Now we know that the Bonapartes don't allow slavers to use this harbor, but perhaps there are slave smugglers? In that case the Bonapartes would be very grateful to us, and you, for helping to catch them. Now why don't you just let us have a look through those logs, with your guidance of corse. Cedric, would you be so kind as to give our friend a Mulled Wine to take the edge off his headache?" "In which case," he said in a near whisper, "We will have an enemy for life, whereas if we are nice to him now he may be more willing to help us in future. You have to think in the long term. And anyway, this is a Bonaparte building on Bonaparte turf, and I am not going to piss of one of the houses unless I absolutely have to, now give him the damn wine!"
  10. "Please." added Throlar, his hand on the hilt of his elven longsword in a subtly threatening way.
  11. Throlar examined the office and it's occupant intently, looking for anything of interest. OOC: Zepher, what is the Rusty Dagger's weapon type?
  12. OOC: StickFig, you haven't been entirely clear on who's getting the Rusty Dagger or the Grating Stone. "Slavers," said Throlar, "I despise slavers. To the docks."
  13. Throlar stood up shakily, giving his prostrate foes a look that said several very colorful things about what would happen to them if they didn't answer the gnome's questions.
  14. Throlar retrieves his weapon.
  15. Throlar repeats.
  16. Throlar, grumbling at his leader's indecision, follows the plan.
  17. Throlar does as suggested.
  18. OOC: I'd like some of those Shattering Arrows for sure, not certain about anything else though. Throlar retrieves his weapon.
  19. Too late now, changing again will just cause more problems, make the most of what you've got now. Otherwise you'll just be ditching old characters and creating new ones forever.
  20. Throlar shook his head. "Well, glad thats ov- hey! Where did these guys come from?" Throlar follows the plan, attacking with his Fellcrest Hand Axe.
  21. OOC: I am okay with this.
  22. Is 'All of the above' not an option?
  23. "Darksten, my idea was to have Parvati use her scroll of blinding on the cleric, as she's the only enemy who isn't immune to it's effects." Throlar repeats, still using his Fellcrest Hand Axe.
  24. OOC: I took a nostrum before the battle, I should be lucky right now. "Okay, I think Darksten should take the cleric and Parvati should try to blind her, Soliman should take the little guy, and that leaves me to deal with the bowman. This is just a suggestion you know, feel free to ignore it." Throlar attacks Tubbs from the back row with his Fellcrest Hand Axe.
