Throlar looked at the letter that had appeared before him, signed his name, and sent it on it's way.
-
Throlar looks at the knight and nods briefly at him. "Thank you for your offer, we'd be most obliged if you can help us." Throlar looked at him for a moment, then, smiling, took out a wickedly serrated throwing axe, spun it around in his hand for a moment, and returned it to wherever he'd gotten it from."You were saying?" he asked with more than a hint of smugness in his voice.

"Hmmm? Oh, sorry. Thank you, but no. It's very generous of you but it offers no real advantage over my other two ranged weapons."

"Throlar Wineghilm, hero of Heroica, me and my compatriots have been hired to find someone, which would be the watch's job in a properly run city, we're meeting our employer inside those gates."

Throlar signs up for quest #153.
-
Sandy, you've been wonderful. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this game, we've loved every minute of it. Thank you.
-
Throlar gave a look of concern at Annienal's reaction. "I'm sorry," he said, "Did I startle you? I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to." Throlar blinked at Sorrow confusedly for a second, then a look of recognition spread across his face."Sorrow? Sorry didn't recognize you for a moment. I'm very sorry I didn't mean to insult you or anything. I haven't been getting much sleep recently and my mind's a bit fuzzy." Now that he had said it Throlar did indeed look tired, he had dark bags under his eyes, his stance was slack and droopy, and his hair was even more in disarray than usual. All in all, a mess.
-
"You can say that again," said a voice form behind them, "nice to see you again Annienal."Throlar drew up a seat beside them and sat down. "Care to introduce me to your friend? I've seen him before but I don't think I've had the honor of his acquaintance."
-
Throlar gazed at the new arrival with a look of undisguised disgust, wishing that the drunken sod hadn't chosen to arrive while he was there.
-
Throlar, seeing the new quest appear, promptly signs up for quest #152.
-
Throlar lifted his head out of his hands, looking around to see what had changed while he was out. He had a vague hope that the entire incident with the boy had just been a weird nightmare, but he knew it wasn't the case. "Ah, damm." What? Were you expecting something profound? Well sorry.
-
"Ummmm... Five? Six?"
-
"They know you're here? How... how old are you exactly?"
-
Throlar lowered his face into his hands, groaning softly. After a moment he looked up again."Yes, yes I have been here for a while, tell me, where are your parents? Do they know you're here?" Throlar gave him a pained look. "Yes," he said, "I can see that." "Why? What have I done? Is it a crime to be worried about a child's safety?"
-
"Ummm... Halfling then? Leprechaun? Some other race that inexplicably looks like a human child but obviously isn't?"
-
"How observant of you." said Throlar dryly as he glanced in the direction of the figure beside him. He turned away from the boy, and then suddenly jerked his head back and looked at him more intently before, as if he was examining him."You aren't a gnome are you?" he said, this time speaking in a tone of confusion.
-
Throlar finally returned to the hall, looking as if he hadn't slept in several days. He took a few seconds to sign up for Quest #151 before continuing to the salloon.
-
Throlar entered the marketplace with 730 gold, he then bought: A Quiver of Homing Arrows for 200 gold, The Monkey Armor for 240 gold, One Baldur bomb for 100 gold, One Soma for 45 gold, One Nostrum for 35 gold, One Grand Potion for 10 gold, x3 Remedies for 30 gold, x2 Potions for 10 gold. (730-200-240-100-45-35-10-30-10=60)

"Okay, that's as good a reason as any I guess. I'll... see you around then."Throlar moved away from the massive automaton in a sort of daze, wondering where on earth the thing could've come from.
-
"Ah well, worth a shot."There was an awkward pause. "Soo... what brings you here exactly?"
-
"Ah, right, I see. Can you please put me down now?"A thought came to him suddenly. "You would't have come from Fellcrest would you? It's just that I know someone there who's missing an automaton." "I see, well, thank you for your offer, I will definitely be taking advantage of it."
-
"Good, I notice you have a set of Armor of the Dark Arts for sale, I was wondering what might be an acceptable price, would 60 gold be too low a price?" There were few things in this world that could faze Throlar. Unfortunately, being shouted at by a massive automaton was one of them, he reacted accordingly."Aaaahhhhhhaaaaaaggghhhhh! What in Orrick's name are you!"
-
Throlar strode over to the questboard, looking at the announcements in silence. Finally he signed up for quest 150 before looking at another announcement. "Hmm, is Monk Pretzel here?"
-
"Oh she has the knowledge all right, you can bet on that."Somehow, Throlar had managed to return to the Hall and come up behind them without being noticed. "Mind if I join you?" "I agree with you there, somewhat ironic considering that I was responsible for the agreement in the first place."
