  1. Just to be clear, I can kill normally, I just can't keep playing. I hope you all understand.
  2. Enson will sign up for Mission Six.
  3. I personally would write it out something like this; Engineering 4 (3 +1 MB)
  4. Making his way through the Bazaar, Enson purchased a Utility Belt from Eb'Vo'nik. 70 credits - 50 = 20 credits
  5. I'm fine with making it work more like Triage, but I have to ask; is Triage's restriction on how often someone can benefit from it per quest or per battle?
  6. Look, sorry, I'm just under too much stress to continue playing.
  7. No-one. I give up. I'm leaving.
  8. I have replaced that with the ability to swap places with a target. I've also: Changed the Alchemist's action and replaced their Slieght of Hand proficiency with Medicine. Made the Grenadier's action only apply once per grenade to prevent abuse.
  9. @Waterbrick Down, I've been thinking on the discussion we had on the spell Meditate, specially on if it should be a normal action. You said that doing so would essentially make Spirit infinite out-of-combat, but it occurs to me that taking meditate as a spell has more-or-less the same effect but with more limitations on who gets to do it. Personally, I think the main issue that meditate poses out-of-combat (along with similar actions) is the possibility of it being spammed to abuse cumulative benefits. While personally I think most people won't do this, it might be good to mention somewhere in the FAQ that this is in poor taste and generally discouraged.
  10. I don't get why you're asking me, I'm not the mission master.
  11. Vote: Murphy Blake (Duvors) My apologies to everyone. It was ridiculous of me to have an outburst like that after calling someone else out for the same thing. I should have retained more self control.
  12. I'm sorry. I shouldn't've said that.
  13. I'm saying that as a statement of fact. You want a defense? Fine, I'm a terrible town player. I genuinely have difficulty stringing together events from multiple days together and am entirely reliant on other people's directions and analysis. That's it. That's the defense, the only one I ever have regardless of what side I'm on. And as for my 'excuse' for voting for myself, @#$% you, because it's true. You all seem to not know or remember this but ever since that time I managed to pull off a scum victory after being the only member of my team left standing I have been killed on the first night in every single game I've joined since then. I genuinely believed I was marked for death regardless of what I did and I quite frankly consider it a miracle that I've survived this long, especially with you hounding me constantly for no damn reason. Have you ever considered that you haven't been killed specifically because you're so adamant I'm guilty? No, because you're a fool with tunnel vision. As for the second traitor, I genuinely don't care at this point. And I don't care about penalties either. Even if I do vote again today I'll likely be for myself so this stupid hell experience ends and I can get on with my life.
  14. Sorry, I meant Wallace. Th' same thing as everyone else, 'is bizarre behavior. I change me mind before th' day ended as y' can see. I think that may 'ave prevented a day one lynch from occurrin'.
  15. I'll be honest, I only voted fer Kieran that one time because I didn't think Wembley was guilty an' felt sorry fer 'em in spite o' how they were actin'. I really couldn't pick between Kieran an' Vivian an' when after th' former on a whim. Th' rest o' th' time I just be goin' after whoever everyone else though was suspicious. At this point I can't be choosin' between ye. Yer all th' three tha' be givin' me th' strongest impression o' loyalty fer most of th' voyage, even Mr. Lawson, as much as he annoys me. Ye seem t' imagine I can magically know who be gettin' voted out aforehand.
  16. After reading through recent mission threads I've realized that the 'Pin' action I gave the Pugilist needed to be something anyone can do instead of a class feature. I've gone in and replaced the action accordingly. The new one allows you to stun someone, but the setup it requires is rather extensive (to the point it may have to be scaled back a little).
  17. Ye mind bein' less pointlessly vague?
  18. Zepher is correct, and this applies to all 'proficiency roll' spells. The underlined bit at the top is what you check to see if anything needs to be rolled, whereas the descriptions of the individual tiers tell you what happens automatically in return for specific amounts of spirit. I should point out that even for rolled-for effects, you still can't really 'fail' unless you get zero successes.
  19. @Kintobor I think it would be a good idea to list the Spirit Ally's stats with the party so they don't have to constantly refer back to the Training Room to see what they are. Also, you need to roll a die to see if Merei's spell deals one damage to Raymond.
  20. No. In fact the reason spells require Spirit was because we specifically decided against Spell DC's in testing.
  21. @CMP, you need to specify which level of the spell you are casting, as that determines how much Spirit it costs and how strong its effects are.
  22. The main distinction in my mind is that Quantum Transposition moves its target to a square, meaning it has to be a location one can move to normally and the target is standing securely at the end. Gravity Sink moves its target to a point, which is not subject to either of these limitations. If nothing else one can use Gravity Sink to move a target straight up, something I'm sure you can understand the implications of.
  23. Ev'rythin' I be sayin' out in the open has been th' honest truth. Iffin ye don't believe me that be yer affair, but ye can stuff th' whinin' about how yer doomed fer accusin' me. Ye haven't bin killed since ye accused me on day two, so ye should know by now ye ain't goin' t' die no matter how much ye yell an' shout about it. I don't be known' about anyone else here, but iffin I was a traitor I'd never be doin' the first one, deliberately handicappin' yerself be soundin' like a good way t' lose the game. It be more likely th' blocker got th' traitors picked t' kill on the first two nights by chance, an' they skipped killin' on the third night t' throw 'em off the scent. Fer the second one t' be true, we'd 'ave t' 'ave bin deliberately an' perfidiously lied to, an' I be trustin' our captain (Bob) too much fer that. T' be honest, tha' wasn't really intended as a serious theory, more a cry o' frustration. That be why I din't try t' defend it. Like I be sayin', I be trustin' the captain too much t' seriously believe it. Sorry, I should a' bin clearer on that score.
