  1. Hmmmmmmmmmmm... interesting. I like how you kept it simple. It really needs nothing more, nothing less. Right on the dot. Well done.
  2. Its soo...... well.............. detailed. Every aspect of it. No complaints here. The rigging as well is very nicely done.
  3. Very nice. I wonder how good A similar design would look like on the BSB
  4. Imperial flagship Brickbeards bounty Millenium Falcon Ultimate Collectors Edition (I got the original mellinium falcon back when I was eight, its still pieced together) MIndstorms NXT (have) Emerald Night (along some tracks) Those are most definately my top five most wanted, excluding mindstorms which I already have. The total price tag... $1130
  5. Interesting. I do think the regular old sabre works fine. also, since when was fut a word?
  6. Yay redcoats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!1one!!!!!!!! 577 is a very big number. hornbricker or someone like building an entire town, and he's got like 1600. in comparison I have only 11. I beat you PHES!!! mwahahahaha umm yeah
  7. Darn it! if only brett farve had gone all the way... I could've gotten myself a IFS. Most of my team was accually from the cowboys. (terrel owens helped alot) I was ONE point away from winning! Oh well, hopefully prices keep going down and not the other way...
  8. same here. like the changes I'd like to see a better headpiece on the ship as well. the swordfish seems too.. dull
  9. It seems like your doing pretty good so far. Not to many people have the patience for LDD. (plus you can't do any rigging in LDD ) You have any better pictures of the stern? That's the only questionable part of the ship. the rest looks great.
  10. IMO the worst set by far is the Sith infiltrator. Anyone could agree to that. For the newer of sets I really dislike the 7754 mon calimari space cruiser thing. I mean, for one its $110 for a $50 at best set second, if your gonna do a recreation of a ship, you don't just use some wierd command center with a silly little hangar thing just sticking out. The detail is not so bad, and the fact that it has some exclusive minifigures makes up as a horrible excuse. I really wanted to see a WHOLE mon calamari. They already have a whole star destroyer, and Death star. Why not a mon calamari? For worst minifig, GEneral grvious takes first place. Poor detail, lack of mobility, are two really bad things, and GG is worst in both categories.
  11. A very lovely ship indeed. It does in fact seem VERY low to the water... If you added another mast, you could have yourself one really fast clipper Keep up the great work
  12. A cutesy little moc. I agree with admiral croisant, it makes it look like the monkeys killed them... lol, evil monkeys... Not bad, but you might consider NOT using the camera's flash, and instead use just background lighting.
  13. All right. But do you mean imperials doing piratey shenanigans. Either way I really really like it.
  14. UPDATE ON PAGE 2 IN POST 21!!! Finally, after nearly EIGHT WHOLE DAYS. (I know, I spent so much time working on this (sarcasm) Comes my newest ship, the HMS granduer (Now circumstance), rightfully named for the (somewhat) meticulous account to detail. A very big improvement from the Rochester in nearly every way! now it just needs some sails... Here is the main picture (my personal favorite) An overview from the side The stern, along with a nicely done flag Side view (I think I should've added another cannon port near the bow) Lots of wonderful rigging... The BOW... Some redcoats in training (to destroy all you bluecoats...) The poop deck. (here you can see the vice admiral, being all... admiralish) Another overview of the ship (somewhat blurry) A better picture of the rigging (Most of my time was spent doing the rigging...) That's all folks! Don't get so absorped in the pictures that you forget to comment! It's always appreciated!
  15. Your right. all that wonderful detail says a lot more than you can. Great moc. Though I don't quite "get it" if you know what I mean...
  16. Better than I could've guessed! I myself am not a big pirate BUILDING sorta fan, but this is an exception. Quality work my friend. I forgot what I was going to say, but it was along the lines of GOOD JOB!!!
  17. odd, but in this case you made odd look good Truly a one-of-a-kind-ship
  18. COol! an interesting combination of the bsb ses etc. I could easily see this as a trademark lego brand set. VERY Great. very great indeed.
  19. Great ship Its nice to see a new color sceme for a change Very well detailed for the fact that its so small I myself am a fan of quality, and this ship is loaded with it.
  20. I agree with hornbricker. The shields are making me a little dizzy. The ship itself seems very boxy. You ever heard the term tumblehome? The proportions are very nice. The stern is MUY BUENO! and thats an very inovative new approach to the bow. British too, good choice mate! I really do love this forum and all the great ships that churn out of it!
  21. A little something of everything, eh? An 18 cannon tumble home intricately detailed hull; A light, yet well done patchwork of rigging; An artsy bow, with a nice small stern; Nicely done flags and a very quality flag (If you have the choice, use fabric. It'll give every ship a more quality look to it) to sum it up into one word: lovely
  22. VERY nice!!! I really like the raft. Great all around. I bet your daugter most definately likes it. The shack is the only ditzy part, just seems a little...plain I can tell you worked hard on it, with all the elements really working together as a whole. Again, wonderful job and welcome to the community.
  23. Good to know. I'm still not entirely sure if I want to sell my bsb though. Would it be worth it?
  24. Its cool to see a size comparison. I didn't think the ifs was really that big in comparison. Could probably easily trade in my bsb for that lovely ifs and still have a few bucks left for more legos. (not a bad idea, but i'm not sure if I really want to let go of my bsb) On the other hand YOU SHOULD BE WORKING ON THE VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!1!one!! I really want you to finish that ship!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!
  25. Yay! another redcoat!!! Interesting combination Very nice. Very nice indeed. I think you've just about perfected it. I really like how you were able to retain a bit of each fort's shape (somewhat) and still create a great meld. Glad to see yet another great fort on this site. Especially from a redcoat!!!
