  1. Did you root for the saints? LOL
  2. Yeah, I haven't seen many of the other ones. Either way yours looks great, Its just that Blasted Roof thats the problem!
  3. I think you'll be fine at four masts. With it being so fast, you may also think of doing chase cannons (ones facing foreward) for even more realism. But with the sheer speed, you probably wouldn't be needing cannons in the stern... Hope you can get some good rigging on there, with all those sails/masts, it'll be A LOT of work
  4. No wonder it seemed so small...
  5. Thanks. I was thinking of the old version, with the prefab hull. I thought the new one had a different name.
  6. Were you thinking of adding anything onto the stern? The fact that its so low is definately a speed + Same with the fact that your using FIVE masts, also a + Though the wieght of all those cannons would slow it down , you might think of just keeping the cannons to the below deck, to make it more realistic... (unless you were gonna use some light carronades, etc.) I do like the way its turning out. Can't wait to see the end product.
  7. Great to see your almost there, i'd love to see some more pics if you don't mind. On the v2... sounds like a great idea to use normal bricks, though thats still well over a thousand pices on just the hull (if you planned on it being a similar size), and nearly 130 studs long. Well, Theres nothing wrong with thinking big.. usually. (unless your a bluecoat on opposite sides of the line...) Either way I like the ship... well really I LOVE the ship (mainly its size) Gotten around to fixin those headrails yet? P.S. The Fourageux has a brick hull? P.P.S. Why does the quote say you posted Tommorrow? (as of today febuary 12th)
  8. Well I in fact have 0 (official) red/blue coats and only pirates/harry potter minifigs. (I've only gotten 3 new sets in at least the last 4 years ) And its mainly only a suggestion, per se to include pirates (green coats) in more contests...
  9. pirates. And to be more specific... I'd meant to have a group in all red vs. blue battles. (or just quite a few of them) as too add more diversity.
  10. The Black Seas Barracuda! (my only pirate sets are bsb, rbr, and pirate island) Only the best!
  11. The only pictures that are working for me are the extremely oversized ones in post #11. The fort seems very nicely done. Though you most definately need to fix the pics.
  12. Your right, headrails, need work. Also, With the french, they turned right around after the revolutionary and tried to take over the world... so that alliance was short lived... either way... Fantastic! love to see it done. Hopefully you can get it done soon enough. How many hull sections is that!?!?!?! like 20!?!?!?!
  13. This post was a pretty good persuasion for me to join the redcoats... Keep up the work CHB! Were (redcoats) are all counting on you!
  14. That pretty much sums up what I was going to say. P.S. how big (DIMENSION wise) is it?
  15. I like the idea. So much great detail you got there! Both the jungle and the tavern had a lot of greaT quality. Really, really, really, really, really awesome. hurry up with that second one! I can't wait!
  16. Funny little story. I like that how you did that dream bubble thing. silly (bluecoat) govna'!
  17. WOW! I (most 100% certificated, utmost definately) couldn't have done it better myself. All the textures, elements, architecture, EVERYTHING flow together nicely. All it really needs is that interior (and its never too late to make one!) What contest? (I'm sure you'd do great)
  18. Same here... I found it funny that you got pros and cons mixed up. Pros are the good parts, cons are the bad parts And this Moc is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! love it
  19. NICE! same here! but watd I tell you about turning off the flash!
  20. Iteresting story... Is english your secondary language? You've quite a few grammar errors. Can't wait to see your next moc!
  21. Very Nice! I'm glad you expanded it to fit a ship. My fav part There's really nothing wrong with it, a wonderful adaption. Great mod! On another side, the building in the middle seems rather lifeless, and is in the essence of needing something since you said its a WIP that might be one thing to fix
  22. Thanks for the kind words. I originally had them in thier respectively colored bins, but I had two other extremely large bins that I had not sorted and when I did sort them, the color code of the bins got mixed up. Sorting most definately helps ALOT. About the US navy... why don't you just join the redcoats... then you don't have to worry about that problem
  23. How do you edit the little comment that goes under your avatar?
  24. Grandeur is an english word too (though derived from french) Grandeur: Dictionary Definition Your right about the ribbon, I should've used string, but I had A TON, and I mean A TON of ribbon laying around Thanks, Do you think I should add sails? I personally think It looks better without sails... Thanks, My bad on the spelling. I think you can spell it both ways though, not sure. Thanks (again) I personally like to use the 2 x 2 plates, Its much more economical too, especially in larger ships like the rochester where I used the same scheme. Ssame on string rigging, I was balancing economics with quality, but string would in fact look (a bit) better.
