  1. Yeah, I'm a big fan of it. The mask looks quite cool, and getting it in six colors is perfectly acceptable in my book. I have longed for mask/helmet recolors to appear again for several years.
  2. Yeah, I guess it could go either way considering the nature of the piece it attaches to. OH YEAH, and speaking of that set... red Protector feet and size 4 shells? All of my YES.
  3. I would love it so much if Tahu used those pieces.
  4. These piece counts just seem fishy all around; the aforementioned Pohatu/Protector discrepancy of course (although I do acknowledge that the Protectors' piece counts are inflated as a result of the stud shooters), but also LoSS compared to the Titan Toa. It doesn't add up in my mind, although I suppose anything's possible. Also, of note; based on my calculations, I was able to pinpoint 45 pieces used in Lewa out of a piece count of 85. That means that his torso uses 40 OTHER PIECES to compose itself. I find that more than a little unlikely, but I suppose, once again, anything's possible. :P
  5. I would recommend the Queen Beast. Even discounting the fact that I somewhat loathe the Combi Machine, the Queen Beast is a fantastic set that features a great variety of content.
  6. Well, to be fair, our message boards are mainly a place for people to discuss our content with Lego discussion acting as a secondary focus. Our primary audience is people who are used to interacting via YouTube comments and discussion isn't exactly handled the best via that format. I predict that once everyone becomes accustomed to our forums and BIONICLE is actually released, the general flow of discussion will improve dramatically. :P (Thank you for the feedback, though; we acknowledge we do have a bit of a spam problem, lol) ALSO, another comment about the pictures - I'm really interested in the background of Lewa's packaging. The mechanical spires littering the enviroment look veeery interesting to me.
  7. The proper spelling of the word is "Protector." These boxes say "Protecter."
  8. Pretty much, yeah. I had so many things I was supposed to take care of today and they all got upended because of this news. "Hello, I'm Mesonak, and I have a problem."
  9. A few thoughts/observations: -These are clearly from a far earlier developmental stage than the display, if not in set design than in packaging design. Small things such as the lack of backgrounds/golden masks and the uniform Skull Spiders lend credence to this. -The Ignika, I believe, was probably a concept at some point in development that was scrapped and will not be seen in the final packaging images. Even if it IS a continuation, there's no way that mask would remain unchanged when everything else has been redesigned so thoroughly. -LoSS (or Skull Krata? lol, probably also prototype) has way more pieces than any of the Masters yet costs $5 less...huh? It's probably all the technic, but regardless, it's a bit odd. -The Guurahk staff piece is interesting; I predict it will remain. That piece was used in the Stars Rahkshi so it isn't exactly ancient. Glad to see some parts from BIONICLE returning (Bohrok eyes YEAH)
  10. TTV's posted some New images! Still preliminary, but very cool looking nonetheless!
  11. That was merely speculation; our source heard something about "dispensers" and we were speculating as to what that could possibly mean, if anything at all. :P
  12. It's not a complete loss; we had yet to receive prices for the larger sets and Lord of Skull Spiders (who, surprisingly, is $15. I had figured he'd be a titan). Also for the record, I do completely believe that Jungle is Lewa's proper new element and that it's not a broken translation. :P
  13. Low blow, man. The wounds are still fresh. ;_______;
  14. Unfortunately, no. We didn't receive Invasion from Below pictures until late October. Holding out hope for a NYCC reveal for this because I'm PRETTY HYPED
  15. I'd like a Hau tag, but I hate BIONICLE so I don't qualify. (JK I meet the requirements)
  16. They could also not release one, for what that's worth. Nobody can really know. :P
  17. Dozens! Literally dozens! Video (singular) uploading now. :P
  18. Boomerangs, I feel.
  19. WELL... I can't really make out the Ice or the Earth Protectors all too terribly well, but they both have potential to be standouts for me. That being said. Jungle Protector is top tier.
  20. I would love the chance to win a ticket for NYCC. I've always desired to go to a convention of this scale for many different reasons, but the opportunity has never presented itself to me; the fact that Lego is announcing something at the event is icing on the cake. I'm very curious as to what Lego is unveiling, and would love the chance to observe what it is firsthand. I thank Eurobricks very much for hosting this raffle and eagerly anticipate its results!
  21. The Protectors aren't exactly rocket science as far as discerning their complexity is concerned (except the Earth and Ice ones).
  22. Nothing is being made more expensive. $10 for smaller sets and $20 for Titans has been the standard ever since 2012. The only price "increase" we're getting is the Toa probably being priced $15, but that's not really an increase because the Legends of Chima CHI figures as well as the recent Invasion from Below sets all are priced at that point. Such is the trade-off of a higher piece count. :P
  23. I count 33 pieces on the Jungle Protector, at least. Based on nowadays prices for small sets, $10 for the Protectors seems likely to me. I don't see them reverting to the old prices without downsizing piece counts accordingly, and I doubt any of us want that. :P I do agree with $15 Lewa, Gali, Pohatu, however.
  24. Favorite of all time: Witch Doctor Favorite BIONICLE Titan: Takanuva 08/Maxilos/Brutaka Favorite vehicle: Thornatus V9 (cause why not)
