The Minifigures designer video was really nice. Especially the sight of seeing all those Uruk Hai and orcs made me really want to start collecting them. Still have to wait a bit though, but it's almost time...

Nice Moc! The colour scheme looks good and the roof is spectacular. If I were to make a comment it would be this: I kind of miss the bling bling in the interior though. It does not distinguish itself as a jewelry store.

Love that octagonal tower! Great how you hide the gaps by using the 2x1 tiles!

Just watched the designer video - the man clearly has a passion for what he is doing. Very insightful video and it is nice to learn about why he designed certain things the way he did.

I love how this house is packed with LEGO humor. The extra zombie heads are also very nice. I think I like the record player the most, but overall I think TLG did a very nice job here: the atmosphere is just over the top creepiness!

Nice ship! My only minor gripe would be that you mixed yellow figs with flesh ones probably nicer to choose one of the two. But as I said, that's only a minor point, the ship (and especially the cabin) are beautiful!

Thanks for the review! Excellent set. Yesterday I watched The Two Towers (again ) and I must say that I am fairly impressed that LEGO managed to make these so close to the original. It really is a convincing set. I also love the figures - especially Haldir What I like here is that there is a decent amount of bad guys, especially if you add the Uruk Hai set. I am a bit disappointed that there are some stickers, but that's nothing too dramatic. Regarding the walls, I guess it is a matter of whether the glass is half full or half empty: I actually think it is great that most of the wall is brick built.

Thanks for the review! I'm definitively buying this one. Two questions: Is it true that all bricks are printed? And secondly, you see the torso printing is a bit off, can you describe the problem a bit more in detail?

Some truly amazing builds! One point goes to: * 6 - De Gothia * 25 - Hersbrucker (love the ships) * 16 - Basiliscus * 15 - Gabe * 11 - Cara (love the colours and the non-squareness!!) Each of them stood out. Love them all!

No, quite often this one is first, but they list no shipping dates yet (and it is the most expensive one). The one I usually place my orders at will only have them in August. Pff.

Typically Dutch online shops offer a 20 to 25% reduction. Still, shipping costs might make it costlier to buy from them if you only buy one small set. I normally buy all my sets at once and combine them with orders from a friend of mine, sharing the shipping costs.
