  1. Thanks for posting these! What a lot of fun :)
  2. I adore this set :) I purchased 2 when it first came out, and combined them to make a really fun piratey ship. As I recall there were enough planks on the island to make a wooden deck for the enlarged ship, and enough grey cheese slopes to replace the slightly garish green ones!
  3. I like this very much.
  4. Good one, imvanya - instantly recognisable!
  5. On brickset.com 8069 is the highest rated medium sized (<1000) technic set in the last 20 years. I personally loved everything about it - except the fact that my fingers got raw from turning those knobs over and over!
  6. Very accomplished! Thanks for sharing this.
  7. Very nice, congratulations! :)
  8. 8109 really was an inspired build. Sold it off when I was moving countries last year and it still gives me a twinge of regret when I think too hard about it!
  9. Greetings, chief! :)
  10. Thanks for this, it put a smile on my face this morning :)
  11. Finished building this set today - got it at a great price at the recent Myer sale. This set + Horizon Express are some of the most fun I've had with Lego in a while! Bought the first Sopwith Camel when it came out nearly a decade ago and was heartbroken when the stickers started peeling off. As you have pointed out, the colours in the new version are beautiful, and it really is fun to play with the control. Thanks for an excellent review.
  12. Really clever idea, and nice execution!
  13. I always look forward to your Friends reviews, Pandora. Looks like another winner here - really love that yellow!
  14. Thank you :)
  15. Hi everyone, I come from the land down under, where the women glow... and LEGO is very expensive! Sets that have surprised me (in a pleasant way) in recent years include 7978 Angler Attack, 8109 Flatbed Truck, and this year's 31009 Small Cottage (still can't believe that's only 271 pieces). I'm looking forward to being a part of this special community, and hopefully sharing some of my own simple creations.
