  1. Wonder if we'll ever see a frictionless version of this part?
  2. Another wonderful alternate! TLG should be taking notes!
  3. Also, the Monster Jam trucks. Who's gonna be coming in from the left, and who's gonna be coming in from the right?
  4. Also a great set from 2017! Cool B-model as well.
  5. Also the tradition of ripsaw-type vehicles. Wonder if that'll continue? Really? The worst set of 2017, in my view. What about the Container Yard? I rebuilt it recently and it's one of the most innovative Technic sets in recent years, building on the multi-vehicle setup of the Construction Crew. Or how about 42061? That bucket needs to reappear at some point.
  6. Honestly, I'd call 2014 the low point of the 2010s. Even Blakbird couldn't summon much enthusiasm for it: "Stickers continued to play an enormous role in the overall appearance of finished models". It wasn't a bad year by any means - we had the first ever Volvo set! - and it stands well above the 2020s so far, but it definitely suffers in comparison to the rest of the decade in my opinion.
  7. Say what you will about 2017, but the sets from then are way better than what we're getting presently. Technic is TLG's greatest theme. There, I said it. And it isn't being done justice now - I'm not sure I want to look forward to 2027, given the quality of current and near-future offerings.
  8. Bit of context would be nice. Are you modifying 8285?
  9. Kinda hoping one of the next Monster Jam sets is Zombie, mainly 'cos I'd like to see how the arms would be done!
  10. Also, I'd imagine losing a fluorescent part is fairly difficult.
  11. Apparently that's a forklift truck with a pallet.
  12. Looks better than 42133 as well! Great job.
  13. I wonder if Monster Mutt Dalmatian's wagging tail is gonna be mounted like the flags on Grave Digger and Max-D. The last two trucks were really missing that dynamic feature; yeah, Megalodon's fins wobbled a bit, but El Toro Loco could have used that extra movement.
  14. Considering that the only confirmed truck so far this year is a 10-euro set, I would say it's unlikely. Also, there have been rumours that the tyre and rim you mention are now discontinued.
  15. Have you recalibrated the hauler each time after rebuilding?
  16. Cool! I like the plough especially - the blue wagon wheel looks so authentic!
  17. Oh-ho, don't underestimate TLG on this one, especially after the Deere roof tile debacle.
  18. Then TLG still borked it by making too many! Overproducing this set is still a waste of resources if it isn't selling. Also, TLG are producing another car around the 50 Euro price point, the Bugatti Wossname.
  19. I'd like to return to my earlier point about stacks of remaindered McLaren Senna sets showing up at discount outlets, supermarkets and the like. Clearly not all of them are selling. Conversely, Monster Jam sets move. Until recently, there was a dedicated standee at one of my local supermarkets stocked with El Toro Loco/Megalodon sets, and it was emptied on a regular basis.
  20. There's also Michael Jeppesen, Luke Cragin, and Kasper Rene Hansen. Oh, and the guy who designs the Monster Jam trucks is a new hire as well - it might be Hansen, I'm not sure though.
  21. I thought that colour scheme looked familiar...
  22. I'm thinking that the dump truck might be something like the one from 8433 (lower left).
