  1. Are you kidding me about the RC Tracked Racer? £74.99 for 370 pieces? No way are PF components worth that! Unbelievable! Just unbelievable! Still like the telehandler, though, and the Roadwork Crew is really nicely priced. Also just noticed the new curved panels on the back of the ship's command deck in white - the same panels used as seats in the Airport Rescue Vehicle! Could there still be hope...? Yeah, probably not.
  2. Looks like a great set! Must-buy for me.
  3. Well, my Slovakian sucks, unfortunately, so I guess I'll just have to wait for the official interview. While it's not the most technically exciting set out there, this really isn't that bad. It's definitely built for play rather than the build. And I like just about anything designed by Grohl, so it gets a happy glance from me.
  4. Second! Maybe something that uses CLAAS-style treads...
  5. Yeah, it's been around since 2000. It first appeared in the 4WD X-Track set, and it's been in two seasonal sets and one or two BIONICLE sets as well.
  6. Funny you should say that. The quarter ellipse liftarms making up the cab were black in the prelim image, and they're now dark bluish grey on the genuine article. Foreshadowing!
  7. Finally, 42061 has landed! Great telehandler, looking forward to this one. The B-model looks bit weird, though - I'd visualized it as being a front loader with extending boom rather than a tow truck. Still, guess they wanted to do something different. Thinking Alfred Pedersen might be the designer.
  8. I hope they haven't cancelled 42061. It's the only set in the 1H wave I'd buy without hesitation.
  9. Oh no, what have I done? But that might be great! Retractable shelves, light elements...
  10. I like the idea of a Liebherr. One question, though - a Liebherr what? Liebherr could mean 'crane', 'loader', 'telehandler' or 'fridge'.
  11. Yeah, same here. Funnily enough, my local TRU doesn't seem to sell the Volvo EW160e, though. Odd. Anyway, I really hope we do get info on 42061 and 42066 soon. If we also get some news about 42051, then that's great.
  12. Well, we're still waiting on info for 42061 and 42066, so 42051 or whatever number to which it's going to be assigned is probably taking a back seat here. I think it being released is highly unlikely myself.
  13. M motors have less torque than, but the same speed as, L motors. Looking at the model, I guess the drive relies more on speed. Remember that the 8043 excavator used M motors for drive, and that's a rather hefty beast.
  14. 42061 is the telehandler which, along with the 42066 Air Race Jet, has yet to make an official appearance. 42053 is the BMW.
  15. Who said there was an issue with 42061? Personally, I think the reason that 42061's slot on Brickset has gone walkies is because both it and 42062 were labelled as 'Container Transport' in the prelim stage. It'll probably reappear when info on the actual set turns up.
  16. There is definitely a resemblance there. It also looks like a sleeker version of the pullback combi model from 2014.
  17. Wow. One man's trash really is another man's treasure. Guess it all depends on what you want to build.
  18. LKJ is Lars Krogh Jensen, who also designed sets such as 8273 and 42025. As for NBK, no idea. Initials that don't correspond with actual designer names are usually on sets designed by Alfred Pedersen (looks like he's the one behind 42060), though I am reminded of a certain Mr. Kuipers... Also, I agree with you on 42065. It's way too basic. Even 9398 had complexity. I guess PF fanatics may have to place their hope in 42066...
  19. Nah, I'd say it's more likely to be Olav Kroigaard. Looks like the type of set he'd design.
  20. So, we're still waiting on the jet and telehandler. Commence the drumming of fingers!
  21. Yeah, that's the commemorative brick for Technic's 40th anniversary.
  22. Woah, the BMW got three whole pages of excitement! Bring on the rest! We're pumped!
  23. No. Taking their time, aren't they?
  24. Good work on that replica, 'Simon'! It is missing an angled panel and what looks like a beam or two making up the engine opposite the cab in the actual set image, but the mechanisms are well done, especially with the Arocs part. Hope the real set is this cool.
