  1. Hi) I'm back))) & I'm close to "finish" with my 1:8,5 H3 model))) during the process I decided not to make H3t cause it's too large. I can't say that H3 is small ))) So, you can see it yourself) (Now I'm waiting for some details to finish the hood & its left & rear sides)
  2. I've recounted scale.... to 1:8,5. To stiffen what? Body, or suspension? Now it's normal. On the 3-d photo I just put it down with my hand...
  3. I'm going to make easy removable body)))
  4. Thank you all for your comments! During the process with the models front end I understood that I have to recount scale, sizes & make some corrections, cause the "grill's" width appeared larger than I've planned... But things happen) Its Lego some part specifics...
  5. Beautiful model!!! Ha, I did not expect so quick start after your words about its performance & was very surprised) Are there stickers at the side doors?
  6. I've started the body work)))
  7. Thanks rm8 for posting photos)
  8. Thanks! Yes & no))), rc unit servo is used to control pneumatic switch (diff lock/unlock), cause it has only 45 degree turn angles & it's not enough. For steering I've used M-motor, it is also connected to rc unit (additional grey channel) Also, I don't like to use servo for steering in "slow" models, cause using another schemes allow to fix selected directions.
  9. The gearbox rations: 1 - 1:5 2 - 1:3 3 - 3:5 4 - 1:1 (About the gearbox - there was the link at the beginning of this topic.) I've used "slow buggys exits". After gearbox - transmission comes to blocking differentials, after diffs it has reduction 12:24, then 8:24, such reduction allows motors rotate 96 wheels easily. Now the complete weight (with charged 2 battery boxes & 5 motors) - is ~ 1,4 kg. I'll ask my mate to add some photo - now I don't have such ability(((
  10. Yes, this one!
  11. H3t ))) it'll be pickup) its wheelbase is longer than H3's I've got drawings & made calculations
  12. ... Here's the small "TT test" of my mostly complete H3t chassis Oh, I forgot to tell that it was on its 2-nd gear
  13. ))) unstoppable ))) outstanding crawler! I like the way it stands up after roll over)))
  14. Thanks! It was just its first test-drive, I have a lot to do...)
  15. Nice video) But where's extreme?) it's a quad-bike!!! (I have the real one 250 cc at my country house, & believe me - it has great abilities)))) I remember that it is Lego, but the model is so similar to its original & I'm sure - it can show you & all of us much more)))
  16. This is really fantastic model... I have no words - only emotions... I'm impressed!!! What's it's weight?
  17. Beautiful model!!! Looks great! It's interesting to see it in motion)
  18. It'll not affect too much) cause the chassis has a great torque moment (always lower reduction) I've tried + 1,5 kg on it - rides the same way)
  19. About the gearbox - you can find here: http://www.doublebrick.ru/blogs/jackson/4-h-stupenchataya
  20. Hi, I've started my new H3t model, it has 4 speed gearbox - servo motor, double reduction after differentials (12:24, 8:24), 2 buggy motors, m-motor for steering & it also has pneumo diff-lock system controlled by RC block servo. I like how it rides))) Here's the first test-drive video:
