I'm curious do you think the Wampa would be a large seperate mold like the Taun-Taun? With a removable arm for palyability sake, or do you see it coming in the form of a giant head add on like Chewie. I would sincerely hope it comes as a bigger seperate mold. Thoughts?

MOC Magic "Deck-box" and Magic "Play-box"
Big Cam replied to Captain'Spaulding's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's awesome. man does that bring me back. I was big into Magic back in the early 90's when I was a pre-teen kid. I sold my colection on ebay about 8 years ago for $1,500. I almost miss them. Your LEGO creation is perfect for the magic cards -
Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?

I agree 100%, at night 200mph is just plain dumb. 140mph during the day on a smooth interstate scares me. You have to be on your tippy toes and every little bump is a full on incident. I hit 145mph once and that's enough for me, I don't think I'll ever see the top end of my bike which is supposed to be around 160mph -
Welcome to EB, I'm not from Colorado, but probably one of the closer ones to you. This is a great community with something for everyone.

That's just incredible, it looks so clean and proper almost like a legit LEGO set. Incredible work, I don't know how you train guys do it.

Very cool cutom build, can it do smokey burnouts -
With that said, if you would have just shown me your version I would have had nothing but positive things to say. It does look just like you described. It helps to know what you were trying to achieve. I kind of looked at it like this " Which is better" Now that I know the basis to the build, I can dig it.

KimT, sorry if this isn't exactly what you wanted out of this thread but I'm wondering do you have every SW LEGO set? i looked through your brickset link in your sig, and the only thing I can think of that I don't see is a gold C3PO and the UCS Falcon.

I missed this in my first ruin through of this thread, but I can't believe that they figured out a way to get the roof to slide back over the engine!!

I'm not sure if you wanted us to compare yours to the original or as a group, because yours alone looks naked compared tot eh original 7993 set, but your addition to the 7993 set is awesome, it flows so nicely and add's more to the original set. I think as singles the 7993 is better but together they are way better than any retial set. I love the glass signs.

That is a pretty sweet little tank. It reminds me of this ancient computer game that my friends dad had on his laptop. I will be trying to figure out the name of this game for the rest of the day. Great MOC!

That's simply a concept car for the SEMA show, they do it every year. They make over the top vehicles with tons of useless electronics, just to show that they can. I've been to car shows for years and the same thing happens every year. A vehicle like that with a huge tv outside would never be produced, I can guarantee you that.

As this is possible, it is also very unlikely. They probably guessed his speed relative to the helicopter speed, or by comparing his times past certain markers. The Hayabusa can hit 200mph but that's damn near the top of it's range and not alot of roads allow that kind of speed due to bumps or curves. Do you have a link to the article from your papers website? I'd like to read the article. BTW I'm not calling you a liar, I'm calling out the Police Departments clocking ability. Hmm, this isn't actually a Toyota Motorcycle, it's a Yamaha that Joe Gibbs tweaked for Toyota. If you read the whole article, there is engine is still Yamaha's as well as alot of other untocuhed pieces. This would be like taking a stock Yamaha to a bike cutomization place and telling them all the changes you want, it doesn't make it a different bike. "The Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross/Toyota (JGRMX/Toyota) Concept Bike is a special one-of-a-kind project built specifically for the 2009 SEMA show." To me this looks like onf of those random concepts that won't ever go anywhere. I have always wondered why Toyota never got into the Motorcycle business, but I don't think this bike will ever be produced as the licensing fees they would have to pay Yamaha would be too great. -
It doesn't mean he couldn't have played it once or twice to complete the review.

Ahh, the B&W picture totally sells this. The helmets are perfect for this time period. I really like this Vig. THe tree is very cool, becasue it's so different from the standard tree. Great job!

This is a very classic ship, it looks great. My only thing is the rope. It looks like there is too much, in some shots there is so much rope that you can barely see the details in the ship. The size is great though, I like the number of cannons you've incorporated. This would definetaly be a feared ship on the 7 seas.

LEGO Nomenclature article from The Morning News

I don't have any kids but after becoming a member here and learning many part names from bricklink, I'd say that I have different eords for many of LEGO's fancier pieces. -
I'm loving that light blue hair. I may have to gather some money and make an order.

The exhaust on this is so well thought out. Very nice work.

Loving both of them, the Daytona looks very good for being minifig scale!

I had never even thought of that, the Jedi council meeting reeom would be sweet, so many Jedi though, I doubt it would happen
