Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?
Big Cam replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Community
Very true. On a different yet related note, did anyone else hear that Harley dropped Buell like a bad habit. The line is completely being disolved, they aren't selling it or anything. Kind of sad, I always wanted to get one as a second or thrid bike, but I am no where near that finacial level in my life so I guess I'll never get a new one. -
OK, I know Daylight savings time just changed and somehow that is likely the cause for this. But I have the forum set to (GMT - 6:00 hours) Central Time (US & Canada), Mexicol City And this is correct, I live in Fargo ND, USA which is smack in the middle of the Central Timezone. Now previously I had not turned on the DST setting and the clock was correct, but now that DST has stopped, my clock is an hour late (my correct time is 10:30am forum shows 11:30am), so I clicked DST on like the board suggested and then it was two hours fast (my time 10:30am forum shows 12:30pm). So the only option I can find is to swith my time zone to Mountain time, but I shouldn't have to do that. Where is the forum hosted at? Will this fix itself in a day or so, I'm just curious if DST is handled differently across the pond?

Very cool, I can't wait for the final product. Are you tiling the entire floor? Bricklink is going to love you!

happy Birthday, I hope the weekend brings LEGO's!

I don't really see the point as most photos are hosted elsewhere. I know flickr has an uploader app for blackberry. Or am I misunderstanding you. Do you want to uploiad photos to Eurobricks? Or post pictures on Eurobricks that are hosted on a different site like brickshelf or flickr?

Ooooooh, looking forward to this surprise theotters! L-space, I just giving you some fun willed grief. I just love talking with harley owners who are so in love with then, and look past the fact that they bought a $15,000 bike and paid another $5,000 for chrome parts, since most harleys come with very little chrome as everything is an optional premium. Now most dealers order them all decked out, but that's besides the point. Lol, this wasn't meant to be a harley rant, I actually really like them, I just don't like the way Harkey does business. -
Very nice, I like the face too, it's a perfect look for the trooper. I love that helmet too, brickforge really pumps out some nice stuff. Great fig, I like it.

Besides the power cuplinks, I really like this. The white circular pieces really take away from the MOC, if you could figure something out for those it's be a 10. Good work.

Welcome to the forums! Any pictures of your current work? Or are you like me and onky build complete sets without mixing pieces. -
I'm a moderator on clubrsx and this was asked of us for years and we finally made it and people like it but with todays phone web browsers getting better and better, it's not really necessary. Plus things like uploading pictures wouldnt be solved with an app, that's the mighty iphones limitation. I have a blackberry and I browse the forums all the time with the native web browser. I'm not saying they should'nt make it, but for the time required to code it, I doubt would be worth it for the EB team.

Ducatti is a good bike to dream about. They are my favorite to look at but performance wise I am finding out that there are actually better ones out there. For a bike like you are looking for though, a supermotard would be sweet. If I ever actually had the money, I'd be spending it on an MV. -
Boba Fett wotul be a bad*** chrome fig.

I assumed as much, it is designed very similarily to the Caliber. I understand about not opting for all the extra's, especially when they lump them together and charge you so much.

As an active poster in the Motorcycle thread, there is no reason why you couldn't have talked about a dirt bike in that thread. I'd be more than happy to discuss dirt bikes with you, as I've owned 2 myself, which I posted in the other thread. Do you really think we need two threads? As for operationf a clutch, it's quite simple. You should start out by letting the clutch out slowly without using any gas. That way you can get a feel for when the clutch engages. After doing that a few times, then try it whil applying a little gas. There is no real instructing that can be taught verbally, you really have to try it for yourself. I just remember when I was learning (some 15 years ago), it was important to know when the engagement point is. -
A 2 and half year bump. That might be a new record. I live in the US so we don't get it on TV here, but I download every single episode and I have seen every one to date, this is by far my favorite show period. The cinematography is just stunning. To me their camera work is like a perfect photo set to motion. I can't wait for it to start up again. I think it's Novemeber.

A chrome Captain Brickbeard of course.

Simple little town set which isn't really my style, but I do like your review, very nice pictures and you covered the set well. I wish every new set came with fun faces.

Wow, without sounding smug, it seems we have it better in the US. Even the base model of most cars come with things like AC and ABS.

That is absolutely amazing, the amount of fig's and bricks is just astonishing. All the detail and placement of the figs just amazes me. I love the tunnel leading to the subway. This is truely a work of art! Over 120 minifigs all strategically placed to look like they are actually living their lives. WOW.

I live in the US, and back in the day i woar costumes to school. Most schools don't have a problem with it, shoot even some of my teachers woar costumes, of course that was over 10 years ago.

I have always found amazon to be overpriced, of course that is usually when looking for older sets. I've simply never found a better place to buy from than Shop @ Home. I know everyone is saying it, but you know your getting a flawless set and the customer service is second to none.

Wow, that looks really really accurate. I don't think I have ever seen that windscreen before. Excellent job.

Sweet, the clone troopers legs are just what they were missing. I have a question, I've seen many of these threads that offer these templates. How do you use them? Is there a sticker sheet you buy and then print them or what? Thanks in advance.
