Myself being a moderator of a photography forum, I can tell you don't exactly have the grasp of HDR photography. THe example you have is just a snapshot of LEGO with what looks to be not much editing, HDR photo's are heavily edited and usually are comprised of more than one copy of the same image. Like these examples below. HDR's usually have many exposures combined into one shot with quite a bit of editing. If you're serious then a DSLR is the only way to go. If you get an SLR then you can get specialized macro lenses. Otherwise if you are looking for a point and shoot digital camera, then most of their macro modes will provide roughly the same type of image.

This has probably been established but this is my first time in this thread. So Ben 10 is basically the replacement for Bionicle.

Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?
Big Cam replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Community
I agree that they are iconic to the dirt bike scene, but I am also very much for technology, and the advancement of the things I love. Therefore sign me up for the electric start revolution -
It looks like you modeled these off of real sets! They look great, the cement mixer is really good. I've never seen a cement mixer trailer made from LEGO and you did a really good job!

I havent seen the movie so I have no idea what it's suppose to look like but I think you made a grea building. The cjair going into the floor is brilliant, it's so flawless and you wouldn't know it did that unless you showed us The tiling outside is great, and I really like the angle that the roof has. I think I need to go and watch this movie now so I cna see what this MOC is all about. Great work.

The title to this thread got me excited as I'm old enough to drink and have had quite a few hangovers, but then I get in here and I can't see a thing. Please retake the pics so we can see them, from wehat I can see it looks like a party happened, or is happening

I think that would be brilliant, I can always use new pieces but I'm curious how do you think they would do it. I can't really think of anything else they culd do besides whsat they already have, unless they make a 1x2x5 brick mold with hands pertruding out a little bit. It'd be awesome but doens't seem worth a new part.

Poor batman almost gets forgotten in my memory because LEGO stopped producing them and barely anyone reviews them or builds with them. Enter Batrbrick! What a stellar setup. THe street is a street and looks good, but the sewer area is great. I love the detail you incorporated, like the weird brown tentacle thing coming out of the wall, or the occasional green piece in the water, hey it's a sewer. I've never even seen the croc character in LEGO form before so that's a plus from me. This is onf of those MOC's where I'd be afreaid to take it apart because it's soo good. <<<I'm a mutant with 3 thumbs. Excellent MOC, deserves a frontpage.

Very nice. I like more than most of the real small power miners sets. I wish you could fit rear fenders, it looks od with only the front, but I know why you can't.
-
Great MOC, it looks like it came straight out of a movie. Do you have a larger resolution image of it? Even on flickr it's small, I'd love to see the detailing, I se lots of tiles for that road.

I like them, I always have, but having grown up and being an adult with bills and responsibilites, i see them as the faster way to waste moeny. I can barely burn paper money faster than you can throw it away with fireworks. Once I get all of my debt paid off my view will likely change back but for now, they are a waste of moeny.

Oh now that is very slick. I'm not a mac computer fan, but I know that apple lights up. If Ihad one, I'd get one of those!
-
That is very impressive, I meanit's almost to scale. Incredible work, I'd love to see it once the lights are put in. How long have you been working on this?
-
WOw, there is so much detail, and things goign on. I think the best detial by far is the skid marks from the bumper cars Hey, did they have bumper cars back then?
-
Great mod, the ship looks really good in that dark blue. Too bad LEGO didn't release all of their smaller ships in the multiple colors.

I recently watched the last 3 Harry potter movies. IK'm getting ready for the 6th coming out on DVD in a month or so.

Dr. Inferno's Cargo Train of DOOM!
Big Cam replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
OMG too bad this didn't make it in time. This is awesome, not asa much a scary train as a cool Agents style train but it's awesome non the less. I really dig the robot on the train chained down, adn that blaster that comes out of the train is great, it was a nice surprise when scrolling down through the pcis. Great work! -
Smilling stamp print inside 8258 box
Big Cam replied to paanjang16's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm guessing its an actual employee who inspects the boxes as they are being printed to ensure it's not crooked and what not. (Quality Control) -
Whoa, I've never ever heard of Alpha Team, I am some searching to do.

For me the first picture is the best. I like the harbour feel it has. #3 and 4 are also evry inspirational. Good idea.

I think Anakin's starfighter would be better for a smaller child since it's less fragile. Other than that they are roughly the same thing, they are both a ship, so they can both be swooshed. I think it really comes down to size. Do you think your son can handle the larger set?
-
Yes, a Pro flickr account is like $45 USD for 2 years or something close to that. The reason I did it is because your original sizes are retained and there is no limit to the amount of storage space, plus other features like viewing stats.

I agree an electirc dirt bike is an obomination. An electric road bike is acceptable, but still wrong. I am all for saving the environment but gas burning engines are one of my favorite things, the sound and smell is one of the best parts of motorbikes. As Otters said, I'm not actually in Iceland, I just call it that since the winters are long and very cold and we usually gets tons of snow. I have ridden in snow beofre and it is impossible without studded tires. -
Thanks for introducing yourself, what kinds of LEGO's do you collect, 1995 was 14 years ago, so I assume you have a pretty good collections, which themes do you follow?
