New element: Brick 1 x 1 with stud on 1 side
Big Cam replied to Rick's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I feel like I have seen thsi piece before but I'm proabbyl jsut thinking it up. This is a valuable piece. I wondfer if it will be in anythign else? If not it may be hard to come by. -
Yes, I believe this was established in a post one up from you. As for the count question, looking at a similar small set, LEGO does count the minifig as I previously stated. Hair = 1 Head = 1 Torso w/hands = 1 Legs = 1 Accessories are separate For example LEGO.com says this set has 45 pieces 6239 Cannon battle Bricklink shows 36 pieces. The difference can be found in the figs. Pirate consists of Headpiece = 1 head = 1 Torso = 1 Legs = 1 Total = 4 The Imperial consists of Headpiece = 1 Head = 1 Epaulette = 1 Torso = 1 Legs = 1 Total = 5 You'll notice that LEGO does not count the sword or gun, or map as part of the minifig since they are in fact accessories. You'll also notice that bricklink doesn't count them towrads the fig either, great news, they finally agree. That gives us the 9 piece unnacounted for in the bricklink listing. Therefore we have concluded that if a set shows 43 pieces like the one you are questioning, we know that 4 of those pieces are the minifig, another one piece is the briefcase since LEGO does not count accessories in the minifig total. Therefore leaving 38 pieces building the car.

I comletely used the wrong word, I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't mean to say single. I just meant a larger mold like the Tuan Tuan, two or 3 pieces is fine, as long as it's bigger than a regular minifig.

You know, I couldn't figure out why Sheldon looked thinner than the rest, but it's because you have him on single swaure studs. BRILLIANT!!

QUESTION: How to make a good Mando helmet?
Big Cam replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Not bad, not bad at all. I personally like the original Boba one better, but that is darn close to it. -
That looks really good and the size is proportianlly correct. Great job!

Thats very cool, It reminds me of the Castle deep in the Lord of the Rings movie, with the wall and the entrance to the right where they keep knockin off the Orc's THe red does seem a bit bright but the overall design I like alot!

Very Creative, I think my favorite part is the door that is a perfect cirlce. ANd I love the spies in the water, great touch!!

MOC: Servant 1- Mandalorian short range fighter craft
Big Cam replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think this is an interesting ship, especially for 3 years ago, the pieces represent that time nicely. I tell you what, if I was ever at a LEGO store and they had helemts of any kind in the PaB area, I would go broke buying them all. -
Congrats on your new room, I think that is all of our dream. Nice calendar too
-
I sincerely hope it's a single mold. And yes, I've seen that wampa too, that would be a great starting point for LEGO, they really need to register here and read all of our threads

A fuel injected dirk bike would be awesome, carbourators are overrated and messy. -
OMG, I love that show too, ,you nailed all of them. 100% Sheldon is great!!

and how That car is pure sex. I'm guessing it's RWD, dang I hope they build this. The old celeca was junk. It was underpowered and doesn't look that good.

Hmm, I can't seem to find this set anywhere, bricklink and peeron don't think it exists. Usually I'd suggest going to bricklink and just collecting the pieces they show ad often you can get the instructions here In this case, no site I can think of aknowledges this set exists. To answer your question, I'm pretty sure the torso and hands is considered one piece. Then the hair is one piece, the head is one piece and the legs are one piece. So the minifig in your picture with the briefcase would be 5 pieces.

Great review, the old school red wheels really give this away for me. I was 1 at the time of this release so I wasn't quite into LEGO's yet. I bet this originally cost like $2 back in the day when everything wasn't ridiculously priced, and for only 40 pieces, I'd love to have seen this in a store.

Meh, I was just saying that in a friendly way. I've been an American my whole life and love it here. Its just usually when Jeremy takes a stab at us, we deserve it or he's right. I didn't mean that America should get trashed on all the time.
-
LOL, ^^^^^^^^ Also ridiculous but kind of cool, looks alot like the Nissan Cube. I dig the saffe handle for the back.
-
I think he just wants a reasonably priced printed Boba, like the majority of us. I think that time has come and gone for LEGO, the costs must not be worth it.
-
You're correct and I have watched it on that channel before but they are always about a year and a half old and since it's good old Corporate America they cut out some stuff, since Clarkson likes to bash us alot, which we respectively deserve. As for the Torrents, I'm going to stick with them. I don't feel as bad since it's not like illegally downloading music to me. I mean it was originally aired for free, to me it's like taping a song off the radio. BNut I understand it's a grey area and by definition probably illegal.
-
It's not that I don't liek it, I just know how ridiculously impractical this set up is. How pften are you going to stand behind your truck and play a video game?? Probably never, SEMA is partially a showcase for new products and compaines ability to do crazy stuff.

That's right, you're the guy with the police bike pics. OK, that's enough validation for me. What an idiot. 143mph at a minimum will tkae his license away for a long time, plus in alot of states anything over 100mph is considered attempted manslaughter with a motor vehicle. That's ridiculous. The backup from you on the smooth road and the fact that YES, the Hayabusa is a beast, I didn't know it could get up to it's top speed THAT fast. Pure insanity. Let us know if you happen to hear what happens to him. maybe the PD will get lucky and get to keep his bike, then you might be modding it for Police work. -
MOC Magic "Deck-box" and Magic "Play-box"
Big Cam replied to Captain'Spaulding's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nope, I had sold all my revised beauties years before that. This was more of a leftovers collection. All the junk was in my clloset for years so I decided to get rid of it. I ahd lots of completed sets, but none of the really expensive ones. I was only 4 cards away from a complete Arabian Knights set. Also at one point in my Magic Career I had all the Moxes except the pearl. I traded them years ago. Sorry to steer off topic for a bit. If I would have been thinking back when I was into Magic a mear year or two after my dark ages of LEGO started, I would have made something similar.
