  1. I think it's just kiind of like the Atlantis themes thing. Each set will come with one and probably different colors. I don't think you'd need any to open the gate, except the one the set comes with.
  2. I agree with you completely, except I think the speeder looks pretty good.
  3. Britney pears - 3 , on youtube, (drool)
  4. Woot! Happy Birthday!
  5. Very impressive, I eish I had that kind of cash.
  6. I think the possibility of missing pieces will always be present. I can only assume LEGO bags are filled by machine, just think if the mold wasn't done just right and they were one piece short. I don't know exactly how it's all done, but I have a picture in my head. It's always going to happen, and if it happens to you three times in a row, that's just a freak accident. You just happen to have bought 3 sets like that. The odd's are'nt good. I have over a hundred LEGO sets and I have never had a missing piece, ever. Sounds strange but I'm obviously just really really lucky, and you probably got one of the missing piece sets that logic tells us I should have gotten. At least LEGO is so good about sending replacement pieces, you can't ask for anything more than that. And don't say "We could asak for our sets not to miss pieces in the begining" becaus we can't ask for that, it's impossible.
  7. You don't think the'll include lights do you? I hate when LEGO makes the box look so much better than the actual set. Apparently they are keys.
  8. You can't argue with success!
  9. Although the shark is dissapointing, the fig looks good, and what a wonderful review of a new 2010 set. You should check out the reviewers academy, you have a nack for reviewing
  10. Very clever idea. The backstory really sells this. I don't think your lack of bricks deterred this scene at all.
  11. So through means that are not relevant I came across this thread by mistake, and I had to comment. This is one incredible display. I just spent about 10 minutes going through your flickr page on this setup. There is alot I want to comment on but I'll start with the cannon blast, since it's my favorite feature. It looks just like a cloud of smoke that would come out of a cannon. The easter egg's were fun, the time machine was just a hilarious touch. Not sure why Wolverine was in there, but it was done so nicely that there is no room for complaining. I am utterly impressed with your ability to create a gigantic scene with a bunch of little scenes happening all around it. The tents, the burning building, the re-enforcments marching to the battlefield, you really need to look at all the pictures to take it all in. I think I would have spent a long time talking to you if I'd have been there. As a photographer, I have to compliment you on your photo's, you have some great angles showing real life images, or views. Overall I'm happy I stumbled across it, hopefully this bump will show it to others who haven't seen it.
  12. Wow, that's insane, I look forward to when we get the rest.
  13. So out of curiosity do you guys think this type of book will be available forever? Or do you think it's more of a limited thing like most LEGO sets?
  14. Your interior shot is money! Such a hard place to take a pic and you nailed it. I think this is great, LEGO should make one sas nice as this. The fact that you can actually have a medic sitting next tot he patient lying down plus all the equipment in there is most impressive. Great job!
  15. Wow, I'm impressed plus all those indie style figs to the left and right, Most impressive.
  16. Very nice creations, that maxi fig is awesome!!!
  17. I think your idea is great and was executing well, btu unfortunetaly it's a hard thing to photograph since it's in so many small spaces. I think it would be much more enjoyable in real life but sicne that's not possible, I did look through your brickshelf folder and I think you did a good job of trying to capture all the elements, but I think a small video would do your MOC justice, since you could kind of scroll over the whole thing. Anyway, I'm splitting hairs, it looks great and it was a very clever Idea!
  18. Besides the Freeco Speeder, I don't think I'll get any of them. (more money for battle packs) The droid fighter has been done before and was a lame ship to begin with (IMO) Plus who doesn't have a million droids already, they are also poorly designed so there is no need for them in my collection, even if they are ina cooler copper color. The tie defender is just a bad ship to make, it looks like it stole it's wings from the rogue shadow and LEGO already did that one, so why not a real Tie Fighter. The Arc-170 looks good and I didn't get the last one but dang, it's probably going to be $50-60 and for what you get I don't think it's worth it. All of this is of course my opinion and I'm sure most won't agree with me.
  19. Looks brilliant, from what I've ever seen of doubledecker buses, it looks spot on. Your road is really nice too, I love seeing all those tiles. Yours is great because it actually holds minifigs, I love how it's the perfect size for that.
  20. Can you take a picture of the book?
  21. Welcome to the forums. I looked through some of your flickr and you have asome impressive space set ups! Enjoy your stay!
  22. To me it looks like the grey one from the previous CW sets, not metallic.
  23. Oh, hrm. I guess I didn't give LEGO much credit, sorry man, but they look very similar.
  24. Wow, I can't disagree with you more, it's was a very entertaining scene in the movie and ties in very well. It works by itself, and I understand it's not a tie fighter but it's still a fun set. I think just because you can't play with it with every other LEGO set doesn't mean it's a bad set. As for the review, the pictures look great, lots of views and very clear, I know this is like a half a year old but if the OP is still around, nice review!
  25. That's a sweet little set, I'd pick that up. 2 vehicles and a little gas pump. nice.
